adidas Y-3 QR Boost Inspired By The OG EQT Colors
By SoleInsider
The latest version of the adidas Y-3 QR Run Boost looks to the history of the Three Stripes for its color cues, borrowing the iconic palette of the 1990’s EQT line. If you’re familiar at all with adidas running history than you can surely see what we’re talking about upon your first glance of this QR Run colorway, featuring the classic EQT shade of green with black and white for its premium leather and neoprene construction. The vintage look of the EQT series combines with Yohji Yamamoto’s modern style for this sneaker that’s hitting select global Y-3 stockists now.
Our Latest Look At The Kolor x adidas Ultra Boost Uncaged
By SoleInsider
Here’s our latest look at the Kolor x adidas Ultra Boost Uncaged. We got our first look at the shoe not too long ago and it was noted that the shoe was thought to be a sample. In other words, the shoe wasn’t going to be releasing to the public. While nothing official has been said from adidas, we can only cross our fingers in hopes of seeing these in stores.
The Kolor x adidas Ultra Boost Uncaged comes in a Primeknit upper that blends Light Orange with hits of Blue. In addition, hits of Grey are noted on the heel cup, ankle, and laces, while a Blue Continental outsole is placed right below the White Boost midsole. Would you cope this collaborative Ultra Boost Uncaged if it ends up releasing? Let us know in the comments below.
Kanye Rocks The adidas Yeezy Boost 350 2.0 In Black And Red
By SoleInsider
Not too long ago we got our first look at what we think is the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 2.0 in a Turtle Dove colorway. Less than a week later we come across a few images of Kanye West wearing the same model (we think) in a Black and Red colorway.
This version of the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 2.0 comes in a Black Primeknit upper equipped with the “SPLY 350″ print in Bright Red noted on the lateral side of the shoe. Continuing the tonal look of the shoe is the matching Boost infused sole unit. Could these be the Pirate Black versions of the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 2.0 I guess we will have to wait until Yeezy Season 4 which debuts next month during NYFW.
I’m guessing Kanye will bring back all the colors from the first 350 and do them over on the 2nd version. These could very well be the Pirate Blacks. Don’t quote me on it, but it’s a good possibility.

These Two New Colors From The adidas Samoa Pigskin Pack Dropped Today
By SoleInsider
For those of you who were waiting on new colorways of the adidas Samoa to drop on their Pigskin pack, today was that day as adidas decided to add two more colors to the premium Samoa pack.
The adidas Samoa Pigskin Pack welcomed two new tonal versions consisting of a Deep Red and Mint Green colorway. Of course, both pairs come constructed out of a tonal pigskin suede. The same hue on the upper extends on to the laces and sole unit. Additional premium features on the shoes include embossed branding on the side panels, tongue and heel, while leather construction on the inner lining. Priced at $130, which pair did you decide to pick up? Let us know in the comments below.
Two New Colorways From The adidas Samoa Pigskin Pack Drop Today
By SoleInsider
The adidas Samoa is back this summer, and arguably looking better than ever thanks to the premium attention the Originals department has given the classic silhouette. The 2016 makeover for the Samoa features a premium pigskin construction in a refurbished shape more true to the original design of the shoe, presented in tonal colorways for an even more stylish look. Following up the trio of colorways from earlier this summer, the Samoa is back to head into fall in all-red and cool mint green options. Both new colorways are available now at adidas Originals retailers like Sneaker Politics.
After the massive launch of 19 colorways earlier this month, more adidas NMD colorways are already popping up everywhere across the globe. Today we spot two interesting new looks for the world’s hottest sneaker, each featuring a unique new exaggerated mesh material across the upper with two-toned midsole inserts. Is this another must-have NMD? Unfortunately for many of us, it looks like grabbing a pair might be even more difficult than usual, as they appear to be an exclusive release to Foot Locker locations in Europe. That being said, we’ll keep you updated if these ever end up on shelves in the USA.
Japanese institution Kolor is back with another collaboration with adidas Originals. The last time we saw the two imprints team up, it resulted in an ambitious collection that saw brand new silhouettes with Boost technology in a totally different lifestyle context for Spring 2016. Now Kolor tries its hand at the adidas Ultra Boost Uncaged with a simple yet refined Orange and Grey Primeknit. The real head-turner here is the semi-translucent blue Continental rubberized outsole. What do you think of the look? Be sure to check out more photos below and we’ll keep you updated on a release date in the near future right here on Sneaker News.
Buy, Pass, Wait: Air Jordan 11 Closing Ceremony, adidas Yeezy Boost 350 Infant
By SoleInsider
In this week’s edition of Buy, Pass, Wait, the Kicks On Fire staff is in a golden state of mind with the release of the Air Jordan 11 Low Closing Ceremony (which we still don’t know for sure what it has to do with the Olympics that’s already over), the gold they might cash in from scoring a pair of the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 Infant and the end of the summer breeze in golden Southern California with the release of the Nike Basketball Summer Pack.
Juan Martinez, Editor-In-Chief: (GOT ‘EM) See video above. It’s amazing what a relatively harmless warning about maybe checking the quality of your sneakers before making the leap can cause quite a ruckus online. You wouldn’t buy a new car or laptop if it had dents or scratch marks on them, would you (or ask for a discount at the very least)? So why lower your standards just because they’re only sneakers?
Juan Carrillo, News: (BUY) I’ve never been too big on the Jordan 11, I only have two pairs total (1 Mid, 1 Low), but the Gold and leather on this pair is hard to pass on. I’ve been contemplating this release for a good minute, but at the end of the day, I think I’m going to at least try and get a pair.
Renz Ofiaza, News: (BUY) The color combo is always a winner for me and since it’s on this silhouette, it’s even better. I really like how leather was also implemented on the upper.
Andres Carrillo, News: (PASS) When I first saw this shoe I told myself that I was going to buy it when it released. But as time passed by I’ve liked it less and less. Maybe if it was a Mid I would have bought it. I’d rather save my money and spend it on the Bred 1s next week.
News Juan: (PASS) If I had kids (or nephews/nieces) I still don’t think I’d pick up a pair. Not really a fan of the adult version, so I see no reason why I’d make the kid in my life suffer. Ha.
Renz: (PASS) I really adore the silhouette a lot, but not in infant sizing. It’s cool and “cute” but, if the prices goes a lot lower, then I’ll consider.
Andres: (PASS) Wait, $130 for baby shoes?? You’re kidding me right adidas? I have no kids, but even if I did I wouldn’t buy these for them. The only reason it makes sense to buy these is if you’re planning on flipping them.
EIC Juan: (PASS) The swoosh jewel detracts from most Foamposite Pro releases and this is another example. Thankfully, there is talk that the Dark Neon Royal Foamposite One is coming back next year so hopefully I’ll finally be able to own a pair of the true (or closest to true) OG in 2017.
News Juan: (PASS) You all probably know by now that I’m not a fan of the Nike Air Foamposite Pro, but I must admit that the shoe looks less ugly in this colorway, Ha. With that being said, I’m a fan of this Blue and it actually makes the shoe look not too bad (if that makes any sense). Still an easy pass on my end.
Renz: (PASS) It’s still one of my favorite bball sneakers, but, I’m not into it right now. The colorway is a classic though, so die-hard fanatics should be excited.
Andres: (PASS) I’m not a fan of Foams and to this day I don’t own one single pair . These would have looked better with a black outsole, but I still wouldn’t cop. They’re just too bulky.
Air Jordan 1 Retro High KO Quilted Blue
Nike
EIC Juan: (WAIT) KO Air Jordans tend to sit on shelves and while I don’t care for the OG colorways with the canvas finish, this new take with a quilted upper is interesting enough to warrant a second look when they drop in price down the line. Unless of course everybody is having the same thoughts I am and cop out of paranoia this weekend because that’s totally in play.
News Juan: (PASS) Not a fan of the KO construction. I just can’t get down with a Jordan 1 made out of canvas. The quilted hits are cool and all, but I have my eyes on the “other” Jordan 1 releasing in a few weeks.
Renz: (PASS) I appreciate the lifestyle appeal of it, although, aesthetically, I’m not liking it much. The colorway is versatile and stylish though, so you can’t go wrong with a pair.
Andres: (PASS) I like Air Jordan 1s, but I don’t really mess with the KO version. These will be getting marked down real quick.
Nike Basketball Summer Pack (Pick One)
EIC Juan: Nike LeBron 13 Low Summer
Nike
The grey, white and gum color combination never fails and the hits of vibrant green only adds to the summer vibe. Would have been nice if these had released in June instead of late August though…
News Juan: Nike Kobe 11 EM Summer
Nike
The Nike Kobe 11 has the most “summery” look from the options. The hits of Teal paired up with the White upper and Gum bottom is a perfect look for the current season. I just wish the upper came with Flyknit.
Renz: Nike Kobe 11 EM Summer
Nike
The colorway just got me and this silhouette is really the best combination of lifestyle flair and functional on-court wear.
Andres: Nike Kyrie 2 Summer
Nike
Love the fact that every pair has a gum outsole, but if I had to pick one to buy it would be the Kyrie 2. The light grey/cream upper blends nicely with the gum outsole. I may actually consider buying these if they fall below retail in the future.

The adidas Stan Smith Boost Will Be Making Its Debut In 2017
By SoleInsider
The iconic adidas Stan Smith is about to get a whole lot better in 2017 as adidas will be releasing a new version of the shoe that comes equipped with Boost technology.
Expected to release some time in February of 2017, the new adidas Stan Smith Boost will feature a traditional leather upper and a full length Boost midsole for new and improved comfort. The shoe will be releasing in sizes 4-14 and will retail for $120.
Are you excited about Boost being added to the adidas Stan Smith? Let us know your thoughts down below.
Note: The image above is only a rendering and not of the actual shoe that will release.
I’ve always been hesitant about picking up a pair of Stan Smiths, but if the shoe comes equipped with Boost I just may have to give it a shot. I’ll wait for the pair that has Boost and Primeknit though cause you know that’s definitely going to happen.
Here is our first look at what is being called the adidas Originals Winter Wool Pack. The adidas Originals Winter Wool Pack consists of the adidas NMD City Sock and the adidas SeeULater. Equipped for the colder months ahead, let’s take a closer look at what both model have to offer.
Both pairs from the pack come equipped with a wool Primeknit construction. The NMD City Sock comes with a Black wool Primeknit upper with reflective seam seams to help give the shoe so added depth and detailing. The SeeULater remains true to its roots as a the rugged aesthetic of the shoe remains intact on the White Primeknit wool upper. The SeeULater also comes with a sock like upper that comes in White and Black stripes. The adidas Originals Winter Wool Pack will release on September 9th at select adidas retailers. Cop or drop?

adidas Makes The City Sock Ready For Winter With Wool Primeknit
By SoleInsider
Believe it or not, the Summer season is coming to a close. That means footwear brands are ready to launch new footwear lines that are more weather ready as the climate cools down, and adidas Originals has planned ahead by outfitting the famed City Sock with wool Primeknit uppers. We first saw woolen PK on the Ultra Boost last year, and there’s no question that the thicker material works just fine on the City Sock design. Expect this black/white colorway to drop alongside the relaunched SEEULATER boot on September 9th as part of the Winter Wool Pack.
