The adidas Ultra Boost is a force to be reckoned with. The three stripe’s affection for Primeknit x Boost models has only gotten better and more precise the more the brand tinkers with the technologies side-by-side. The lifestyle specialists over at Berlin’s Highsnobiety are teaming up with the silhouette for a collaboration in the near future. An understated tonal use of Dark Grey hits the entirety of the upper while muted branding on the tongue nods at Highsnob’s affiliation. Snoop Dogg and adidas have just released a brand new football cleat that pays homage to his famous lyrics ?I?ve got my mind on my money and my money on mind,? from the second track on his debut album, Doggystyle.

Known as the 2016 adizero 5-Star 5.0 x Kevlar Snoop cleat, the shoe features a new Chromaflage pattern on the upper and fuses it with unique design elements that were inspired and influenced by Snoop Dogg and his gold certified and Grammy Award nominated single. Unique features of this cleat include ?Gotta Hustle? lace dubraes, Snoop’s famous ?mind on my money and my money on mind? lyrics on the side panels, a $10,000 money band, and a $100 bill inspired 3D laser security strip into adidas? three stripes graphic on the shoebox. The packaging also takes things to another level as we see adizero 5-Star 5.0 gloves, featuring an oversized photo-realistic graphic of Ben Franklin, along with a Chromaflage money arm sleeve and socks, complete with $10,000 money band.

The adidas Busenitz is a sneaker that’s usually dressed in either leather or suede, this time around adidas tries a new look on the shoe as it’s seen constructed out of a mesh upper.

Although mesh does appear on the upper, there are still parts of the shoe that come dressed in suede in areas such as in the heel, toe and eyestay of the shoe. The mesh build is found on the side panels and collar which will definitely come in handy once hotter days become more of the norm. The colorway comes in an all-red base offset by the white accents placed on the Three Stripe branding, sole and heel tab of the shoe. Priced at $80, you can now pick up a pair at select adidas retailers.

It may take some time to get used to, but I think the Busenitz looks solid in mesh. Perhaps we can see it dressed in an all-mesh upper somewhere down the line. That’s something to think about.

For the most part, the adidas Ultra Boost is a sneaker that keeps things pretty tonal. Last year saw the shoe comes in an array of colors, but the majority of them keep it to one or two colors and most of the time they were similar hues.

This upcoming version of the shoe is something we’ve quite not seen before. As of right now there is not much information regarding this release but what we are able to see based off the images is that the shoe comes with S.E.P. branding on the tongues label as well as on the lace tips. The Primeknit upper comes in a tonal light grey colorway contrasted by the black Primeknit threading placed throughout. The heel counter and Boost midsole of the shoe come in white to clean things up a bit. Without a doubt the most interesting feature on the shoe lies in the inner sock lining, tongue tag and laces as they all come with a color-blocked design along with white “X” slashes placed all over. adidas enthusiasts who live in Los Angeles, consider this your heads up! The Three Stripes just tweeted out that they’re planning on going to Los Angeles next week. Once they get there they plan on hiding 75 pairs of the adidas NMDs. This weeks recent adidas NMD releases did really well, but unfortunately not everyone who wanted a pair was able to obtain one. I guess you can say this is our second chance at picking up a pair. We have no idea what part of Los Angeles or what day this event will take part in, but be sure to stay tuned to find out more info as soon as adidas lets us know.  Were you lucky enough to pick up a pair? Easter is only one week away and the closer we get to the holiday the more Easter-themed sneakers that we see.

The latest brand to unveil a new Easter release is adidas with this adidas Crazylight Boost 2.5. Not only is this a special Easter colorway of the Crazylight Boost 2.5, but it’s also a PE colorway for Minnesota Timberwolves star Andrew Wiggins. The upper on this sneaker features a combination of white, blue, and pink to go along with the Easter theme while the tongue has been hit with Andrew Wiggins’ “AW” logo. Another nice feature of this shoe is the colorful white, pink and blue dye print that covers the toebox.

The colors used on this shoe definitely give off an Easter vibe. While it’s cool that it’s a PE for Andrew Wiggins, I think more people would be willing to pick up a pair if it was just an ordinary release instead of a PE.

Adidas began experimenting with the new adidas Ultra Boost Uncaged last year when they released the first pair in a collaboration with Hypebeast. Since then they have released a couple more Uncaged versions of the Ultra Boost such as the recent collaboration with Solebox.

Soon enough we’ll be able to pick up the Uncaged Ultra Boost as a non-collaboration release because adidas plans on releasing the shoe as part of their inline collection. One of those colorways that will release will be this tonal grey version you see above that sees the entire Primeknit upper done in grey with matching laces and heel counter. The only contrast comes with the white BOOST midsole and black rubber outsole.

I’m still unsure on how I feel about the Uncaged version of the Ultra Boost. I think the removal of the cage just gives the shoe a strange look that I’m not really accustomed to. If I had to pick with or without cage right now Id’ have to go with the cage.

The adidas Spezial got a recent Primeknit revamp, but there’s still nothing like a classic as far as trefoil branded pairs are concerned. Originally created for handball of all sports, the Spezial became a lifesstyle classic with its t-toed construction and joined the ranks of the Gazelle and Sambas for must-have status throughout much of the late-80s early-90s. adiads Originals is now dropping a special edition SPEZIAL Spring 2016 Collection that drops tomorrow. Five pairs are available in total with a wide range of material uppers and unique tonal colorways to hold you down. Japanese label Kolor and adidas are no strangers to working with each other. The two brands have released two different collaborations that span between late 2015 and early 2016 featuring the popular adidas Ultra Boost.

The two are now working together once again but this time using a different BOOST silhouette from adidas. Kolor has put their own twist on the new adidas Pure Boost ZG. The Pure Boost ZG features a Primeknit upper done in Navy Blue, Tan, Red and Black with contrasting hits of beige/tan landing on the tongue, side panels and heel tab. Down below we see a white BOOST midsole and black rubber outsole.

Anyone interested can pick up a pair now at select adidas Originals retailers for $195.

It’s about time adidas recreate the Pure Boost and give it a Primeknit upper. I think the design is decent but this colorway/collaboration isn’t something worth going crazy over.

How many of you were able to pick up any pair of the adidas NMD models that dropped in the a.m.? I woke up at 5 a.m. PST tried logging on to Finish Line but had no luck getting in. So yeah, it was a Sadderday on a Thursday for me. The adidas NMD is currently one of the hottest sneakers out there so it’s no surprise that everyone wants to own a pair. For those who weren’t able to get a pair, be patient the hype will soon die down and you’ll be able to get a pair.

Today we take another look at another colorway set to drop next month, the adidas NMD Mesh Triple White. This mesh constructed version of the NMD comes dressed in white from head to toe. That includes the laces, branding, lining and Boost midsole of the shoe. The upper may not be Primeknit, but there’s no doubt that this is also a viable uber comfortable option. Releasing April 9th for $120, who is looking to pick up a pair?

All-white is cool and I don’t mind having a mesh upper, but the maintenance this colorway requires makes me want to wait for another color to drop.

Another colorway of the D Lillard 2 is on the way and this one helps you celebrate the upcoming holiday. Today we take a look at the official images and the release date of the adidas D Lillard 2 Easter.

The Easter-themed sneaker will come dressed in proper pastel hues to correlate with the holiday vibes. A dye print pattern is created using the pastel colors as noted on the side panels and toe of the shoe. Offsetting the pastel hues is the white base placed throughout the shoe. adidas branding is placed on the heel, while Lillard branding is spotted on the heel. A light blue hue is found on the outsole, tongue and lining while a set of pink laces tie up the look of the shoe together. Releasing March 25th, are you looking forward to this release?

It definitely has an Easter theme, but the colors of the shoe are a bit too soft. I’m nut really sure if I would were something like this. The model is dope, just not maybe on those colorways.

Just introduced early this month was the new adidas Pure Boost ZG Prime, which we now see is also receiving a style-minded re-interpretation from the Y-3 imprint. Also built in Primeknit, Yohji Yamamoto’s take on the silhouette features just a few differences than the initial ZG, including a modified leather tongue, a more streamlined heel counter, and side stripes also in leather. This colorway opts for a high contrast black and white look, sure to please fans of the popular “Oreo” sneaker motif. The Pure Boost ZG Knit is arriving now at Y-3 stockists internationally, and should hit the States soon.

A combination consisting of a Y-3 model equipped with Primeeknit and Boost seems to be the ideal sneaker that adidas can make. The adidas Y-3 Primeknit Boost ZG has all those three features and if you want a pair repare to pay good money for it and don’t expect it to be on the next installment of Save Your Money.

The shoe will come constructed out of a black and white Primeknit upper accompanied by the leather hits found on the tongue. The Three Stripe branding on the tongue houses the Yohji Yamamoto branding, while the sole unit consists of a Boost midsole paired up with a white outsole. If you’re looking for a high-end casual type shoe this is a great one to choose from. Available internationally, you can now pick up a pair for around $313.

A shoe is worth as much as you’re willing to pay or it. I’ve seen people buy sneakers (I’m guilty) made out of inferior materials for a lot more money. It all depends on taste and preference.
