adidas Streetball Challenge Travels To Los Angeles

Last weekend in New York City, adidas revealed a 2019 iteration of its Streetball style?a once court-iconic basketball lifestyle silhouette. The competition brought together some of the most notable names in sneakers, sports, and fashion for a winner-takes-all, 3 on 3 tournament with the champions taking home a $15k cash prize.
 
Further honoring the heritage of the Streetball franchise and the love for the game, the adidas Streetball Challenge will now travel to Los Angeles. The tournament will open up to the community with a kick-off qualifier game on August 18th at Pan Pacific Park. The top eight teams from this category will move on to the official competition taking place on August 24th. 
Public teams are able to register via EventBrite  – team space is limited.

First Look: Dragon Ball Z x adidas Nizza Hi Oolong

More Dragon Ball Z x adidas collabs are on the way. Next up, the Dragon Ball Z x adidas Nizza Hi Oolong you see above.

This special iteration of the Nizza Hi pays tribute to Oolong, a protagonist in the Dragon Ball manga who made a minor appearances in Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball GT. Oolong is an anthropomorphic, shapeshifting pig who met Bulma and Goku while on their quest to finding the Dragon Balls.

The Dragon Ball Z x adidas Nizza Hi Oolong comes dressed in a White canvas upper covered in an all-over Oolong embroidery. Details on the shoe include the Pink tongue labels, Pink midsole, Slime Green outsole and Dragon Ball Z branded insoles.

Every color under the sun always finds a way to land on the adidas Ultra Boost models and with the Ultra Boost 2019 currently taking center stage, today we give you a look at the upcoming Hi-Res Coral colorway.

Constructed out of a lightweight and breathable Primeknit construction on the majority of the upper, this Ultra Boost 2019 combines Grey Four and Hi-Res Coral (bright orange) with the orange landing mostly on the mudguard and heel area. A translucent side panel cage with black three stripes branding, a black/translucent heel counter, white full-length Boost midsole, and a black Continental Rubber outsole cap things off.

This latest colorway of the adidas Yung-1 comes dressed in a Core Black, Semi Coral, and Raw White color scheme. The shoe starts off with a Black mesh upper offset by the Grey leather overlays. Adding some color to the shoe are the Coral hits noted on the ribbon Three Stripes, tongue tag and parts of the sole unit. A White midsole, Grey laces and a outsole that matches the aesthetic of the upper round out the main features of the adidas Yung-1.

The adidas Tyshawn Surfaces In Core Black

adidas Skateboarding will soon be releasing a Core Black colorway of Tyshawn Jones’ new signature sneaker, the adidas Tyshawn.

Designed alongside and tested by the groundbreaking skater, the sneaker blends Tyshawn?s confident style with basketball aesthetics and design elements that deliver ultimate performance and durability for skateboarding while maintaining a fresh look off the board.

This latest colorway of the model comes dressed in a Core Black, Cloud White and Light Blue color scheme. Details include a Black nubuck upper offset by the White Three Stripes branding on the side panels. Adding even more color to the shoe is the Light Blue streak bordered by a thin White line that runs across the textured ribbed heel.  A Gold-stamped trefoil logo on the tongue, Tyshawn’s name on the medial midfoot are all part of the shoe’s design. First Look: adidas Ball Around The World Collection

The three adidas models you see above make up the adidas Ball Around The World Collection. These special edition colorways of the Harden B/E 3, the Marquee Boost, and Pro Bounce Low 2019 are all releasing to coincide with the year’s FIBA World Cup.

The Harden B/E 3 comes with heavy USA vibes as it’s dressed in a Navy, Red and White color scheme. A star pattern appears on the straps, while the lining appears to be covered in a USA flag-like print. On the other hand, the Marquee Boost, and Pro Bounce Low 2019 opt for an international finish thank in large part to the various colorful country flags found on areas such as the branding, lining and tongue tags. The same colorful motif is found underneath the translucent outsoles.

No release info has been announced, but the entire adidas Ball Around The World Collection is expected to arrive at adidas basketball retailers overseas later on this month.
