adidas Clima Cool 1 adidas Clima Cool 1 1 adidas Clima Cool 1 2 adidas Clima Cool 1 3 adidas Clima Cool 1 5 adidas Clima Cool 1 6

Originally seen during the early 2000s, the adidas Climacool 1 is set to make a return this year, and certainly suited for Spring/Summer.

Highlighted in forest green, the running shoe is defined by its breathable upper comprised of mesh, which provides the wearer with a temperate feeling during warm, humid days.

Tonal synthetics are applied on the sides via its three stripe motif and forefoot for additional reinforcement as it’s all supplemented atop a matching rubber sole unit.

Finished off with tonal laces and silver branding on the tongue, you can find a pair at select adidas retailers on April 2nd for $130.

Author’s Take

I barely remembered this silhouette. Most likely because I was a Nikehead. (Still am but now that I’m older, I’m more open to other brands). Anyway, I’m a fan of runners in general and it’s nice to see this model revived once again.

Forward-thinking design and technology are at the forefront of this new collection. Some of adidas’new breakthroughs in this collection include Climaheat, Climachiill and sub-zero yarn. The Kolor x adidas Spring/Summer 2016 Collection will be available starting April 1st at retailers such as Barneys, Kith, SSENSE and adidasx.com.  The collection ranges in price from $60 to $625 for apparel and $285 to $340 for footwear.

Author’s Take

What stood out the most to me is the price of the shoes. Between $285 and $340? That’s a little too rich for my blood.

Release Update On The adidas NMD R1 Primeknit Camo

Adidas NMD 1 Adidas NMD 2 Adidas NMD 3 Adidas NMD 4 Adidas NMD 5 Adidas NMD 6 Adidas NMD 7 Adidas NMD 8

Earlier this week we told you that the adidas NMD R1 Primeknit Camo was set to release on April 9th, we not got word that the proposed release date has been scratched, at least for us. Let me explain.

It turns out the the initial release date adidas NMD R1 Primeknit Camo was a global release date. That means that the shoe will still make its debut on the proposed April 9th date, only problem is that we (U.S.A) will not be one of the countries getting that shoe on the 9th. Expect lots of international retailers to be getting the shoes next week, but we will not be one of them. So when will we be able to pick up a pair? That questions still remains to be unanswered. The only thing that adidas has mentioned is that the shoes will be available sometime this summer.

Author’s Take

I’m okay with the release postponement. I like the shoe, but I?m not crazy about the camo colorways. I?d rather wait for more solid colored offerings to drop somewhere down the line.

The Pirate Black And Moonrock adidas Yeezy Boost 350 Will Be Restocking Soon

adidas Yeezy Boost 350 1 adidas Yeezy Boost 350 2

Two colorways of the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 will be restocking next month. European retailer END Clothing will be utilizing a program they’re calling END.Launches that aims to eliminate the use of bots.

The adidas Yeezy Boost 350 Moonrock and Pirate Black colorways will both be restocking via END.Launches. The way the program works is people register their email and when the product drops they send you a link to the purchase page. Only those who register can access the purchase page. Ideally this gives everyone a fair shot at obtaining a pair.

If you’re interested in finding out more and registering then you can do so here. Both pairs will be restocking on April 7th.

The adidas ZX Flux Racer goes full-on stealth mode as it’s latest colorway has the sleek looking shoe come in a Core Black colorway. With black hues placed on the shoe from top to bottom, the shoe manages to exude a clean and tonal vibe.

The Racer version of the ZX Flux comes in a all-mesh upper accompanied by the clear heel counter and the shiny Three Stripes branding placed on the side panels. Additional features on the shoe include the all-black sole unit, black laces and tongue. The only part of the shoe that does not come in black is the small stripe placed on the two-toned heel pull tab. If you’re diggin’ the triple black look, you’re now able to pick up a pair at select retailers.

Author’s Take

The adidas ZX Flux Racer is much sleeker looking that the OG ZX Flux. I’d definitely pick these over any ZX Flux. I just wish the shoe had a little bit more of contrast. Overall, still a good looking shoe.

The adidas Boost Running Multi-Color Primeknit Pack Is Incredible

Boost x Primeknit x Multi-Color. It’s a match made in running/lifestyle crossover heaven which is why we’re particular excited about the upcoming adidas “Multi-Color Primeknit” Pack. We last saw the rainbow array of interwoven goodness on a Chinese New Year exclusive of the adidas Ultra Boost. That look returns here, only with a clean white base that nods at the silhouette’s most popular colorway to date. The adidas Ultra Boost ST slims things down for a lighter approach while a Navy base is contrasted with a Multi-Color forefoot section. But perhaps the most ambitious aesthetic of the trio belongs to the adidas adiZero Prime Boost, a black pair featuring splashes of random primary colorways on the woven three-stripe branding, heel collar, tongue, and toe for a truly unique look. The trio arrives at Asian retail outlets on April 2nd, so stay tuned for a stateside release date in the near future.

Rainbow Accents On These adidas Ultra Boosts

adidas adidas 1 adidas 2 adidas 3 adidas 4

Two variations of the popular adidas Ultra Boost and a pair of the adizero Prime Boost is detailed with multicolor flair for its latest iteration this season.

With the first two aforementioned silhouettes offered in white and black, each are punctuated by a vibrantly colored knitted motif which is prominent on the toe cap for the white pair, while covering the entirety for the second.

Additionally, the adizero is rendered predominantly in navy as the theme is more notable on the knitted toe box. The sneakers are currently available at select adidas accounts overseas, although a stateside release is imminent.

Author’s Take

I’m a fan of all three silhouettes but my top pick is the white pair since it’s more stylish in my view. Each has its own charm though.

Reflective Flair On The adidas Originals SL Rise XENO

adidas Originals SL Rise 1 adidas Originals SL Rise adidas Originals SL Rise 2 adidas Originals SL Rise 3 adidas Originals SL Rise 4 adidas Originals SL Rise 5 adidas Originals SL Rise 6 adidas Originals SL Rise 7

The adidas Originals SL Rise is the latest silhouette to be treated with the brand’s popular XENO technology, which is essentially inspired by Xenopeltis snake found in Southeast Asia and recognized for its highly iridescent scales.

Essentially sporting a predominantly black upper with scaly textures throughout, the low-top retains its stealthy profile in original lighting, but when exposed to flash, the defining theme is scattered across its entirety in varied tones ranging from purple, neon, green and blue.

All resting atop a tonal black rubber sole unit, the sneaker is rounded out by the label’s iconic three stripe motif gracing its side panels. Other notable details include more branding on the tongue label and heel tab via the brand’s trefoil logo. Furthermore, the motifs are shaded in contrasting white.

You can purchase this pair at select adidas retailers now for $120.

Author’s Take

I’ve been a fan since this theme was applied on the ZX Flux. The silhouette itself is appealing as well. Another solid offering.

An On-Feet Look At The adidas NMD Chukka Vintage White

adidas NMD Chukka Vintage White 1 adidas NMD Chukka Vintage White 2 adidas NMD Chukka Vintage White 3

It wasn’t too long ago that we gave you a first look at this all-white colorway of the new adidas NMD Chukka. This will be third colorway to release of the lifestyle silhouette that will be joining the red and black pairs, both which featured suede uppers.

This time around the Three Stripes switched things up and decided to use Primeknit for the upper instead of suede. The BOOST midsole has been done in white while grey EVA inserts have been added for contrast along with a black heel tab and rubber outsole. There is still no stateside release date for this crisp and clean colorway of the NNMD Chukka but select overseas retailers will be releasing their pairs on April 1st. Make sure you stay tuned to Kicks On Fire for the latest updates.

Author’s Take

It?s cool to see the Chukka NMD utilize a Primeknit upper but I just don?t like the white colorway. Hopefully they release more colorways in the future.

The adidas Originals EQT Running Cushion model just released a brand new colorway that comes equipped with some bold hits that are sure to garner plenty of attention.

This new version of the shoe comes in a black suede upper accented by the tonal black python skin placed on the overlays of the shoe. Contrasting the dark look of the shoe is the are the white Three Stripes branding on the side panels, branding on the heel and the grey snakeskin accent on the heel tab. If you’re diggin’ this luxe look on the classic adidas runner, you can now pick up the adidas Originals EQT Running Cushion for the retail price of $130.

Author’s Take

I’ve never been a fan of this adidas running mode. It’s just a little bit too generic looking for me. Adding python skin on the shoe doesn’t make me change my mind.

adidas Hassled This Journalist To Prevent A New Shoe From Leaking

The big sneaker brands have tightened up considerably when it comes to preventing leaks from inside the factories and even the company walls, but they’ve never gone to inappropriate lengths to prevent a leak from happening. Today in Chicago, adidas set up shop in the streets for a photoshoot for an upcoming adidas running sneaker that had never been revealed to the public. To have the shoe out on display in one of the biggest cities in the world is not the best way to protect it from being seen (especially when mounds of fake snow act as part of the backdrop of the shoot), so when Anthony Souffle, a journalist from the Chicago Tribune, tried to take some photos of the set, he was confronted by someone from the crew. Read the rest of the details over at Chicago Tribune.

The adidas adiZero Prime Boost Gets The Multicolor Treatment

While we patiently wait for adidas to release a multicolor version of the adidas Ultra Boost, another Boost sneaker was just blessed with the multicolor treatment. Today we take a look at the adidas adiZero Prime Boost rockin’ the vibrant Primeknit motif.

The shoe starts off with a black base which is soon covered with a multicolor Primeknit construction particularly on the Three Stripes branding, toe, tongue and collar. A black heel counter, laces and eyestay helps balance things out a bit. A white Boost midsole assures you that this will be one of the most comfortable shoes you will put on. Although it’s not yet available in the states, you can get a pair internationally, (with a hefty price tag) at select international retailers.

Author’s Take

Aesthetically, it looks amazing. I’m just curious to see if it’s as comfortable as the Ultra Boost or Pure Boost. If it is, I’m all on it.
