adidas Originals is getting ready to release the adidas EQT Running Support 93 Boston, a shoe that was inspired by the iconic ‘Boston Super’ model that made its debut back in 1986 during the Boston Marathon. The shoe you see above will be a part of the adidas Marathon Series – an EQT Support 93 collection that was revealed back in February when they released the adidas EQT Running Support 93 Tokyo.

The shoe comes dressed in a grey suede upper accompanied by the light grey nylon underlay that’s said to be inspired by the original design from 1987. Adding some contrast to the shoe are the red hits and the U.S.A. flag placed on the heel. Grey ribbon Three Stripes and a white midsole with hits of red and grey complete the look of the shoe. If you like what you see you will be able to pick up your very own pair for the retail price of $150. Let us know what you think in the comments below.

Author’s Take

I have no affiliation or connection to Boston whatsoever, but there’s no denying the shoe is nicely done. Color and design is on point, and this is coming from a person who is not too fond of the EQT Support 93.

An All-Black Colorway Of The adidas NMD City Sock Will Release In The Fall

adidas NMD Primeknit City Sock 1 adidas NMD Primeknit City Sock 2 adidas NMD Primeknit City Sock 3

Adidas gave us a first look at the all-new adidas NMD City Sock last month in the black and white colorway that is expected to release on some time in My for those of us living on the US.

Today we get a first look at another future colorway which takes the tonal approach. Instead of combining two colors like the previous pair that we saw last month, this new NMD City Sock features a full black Primeknit upper for a sleek look. A white BOOST midsole with black EVA inserts and a black rubber outsole serve as the finishing details for this lace-less version of the popular NMD silhouette.

No exact release date is available yet but this adidas NMD City Sock in Core Black is expected to release some time in September 2016. Are you looking forward to grabbing a pair?

via: ultraboostworldwide

Author’s Take

When I first saw the white and black colorway I didn’t like it. Now that I see this tonal black pair it actually makes me like the silhouette better. I’d still have to see them in person to decide if I really like them or not.

Is The adidas Ultra Boost Uncaged The Next Big Thing For The Three Stripes (Video)

2016 is already three months and change old and we have yet to see a true sequel to the adidas Ultra Boost. In many ways, the closest thing we have to an Ultra Boost 2 so far is the Uncaged version. We saw a hint of that last year with the Hypebeast collab, but this year seems to be the true version of the Uncaged as it features a sock-like bootie that fits snug on your feet. It reminds you the Ultra Boost of old (and still relevant as more colorways seem to be dropping all the time), but it’s an entirely different thing altogether and that’s what will have sneakerheads talking for sure. Today let’s take a look at the Uncaged in their grey and red variations. It won’t be the last that we see of these kicks, that’s for sure..

Adidas Creates Playoff Colorways Of The Crazylight Boost 2.5 For James Harden, But Will He Wear Them

adidas Crazylight Boost 2.5 1 adidas Crazylight Boost 2.5 2 adidas Crazylight Boost 2.5 3 adidas Crazylight Boost 2.5 4

Adidas must be banking on the Houston Rockets making the playoffs this year because they have created PE Playoff colorways of the adidas Crazylight Boost 2.5 for James Harden.

Looking at the images above you can see two different colorway of the Crazylight Boost 2.5 both done in black, red and white colorways to match up with the Rockets uniforms. The first pair which has been labeled the Home colorway features a black and white split upper with red detailing on the tongue branding, heel pull tab and outsole. The second pair which is the Away colorway comes with a black and red upper and white detailing appearing only on the BOOST midsole.

The Home colorway is expected to release on April 29th while the Away pair will drop on May 14th. Both will retail for $130.

Author’s Take

So what if the Rockets don’t make the playoffs? Will these still be considered a “playoff” colorway or will adidas just not release them? Personally I think both pairs are pretty sick since I’m a big fan of red and black.

White And Grey Are Featured On This adidas Tubular X

adidas Tubular X 1 adidas Tubular X 2 adidas Tubular X 3

The adidas Tubular X hasn’t made too much noise since it released in the black glow-in-the-dark colorway alongside the Superstar during All Star Weekend. With Spring here we’re sure to see more colorways as the cold weather is gone (kind of) and the warm times are here.

This new Tubular X that you see above goes light for the Spring and utilizes an all-white upper with heather grey landing on the tongue, ankle and around the eyestay in a wool-like material. A White Tubular sole and white rope laces round out the look on this latest colorway of the Tubular X that should be a hit for the Spring/Summer.

What are your thoughts on this adidas Tubular X? Have you picked up a pair yet? You can purchase this colorway at select adidas retailers now for $120.

via: Overkill

Author’s Take

There’s been a couple of colorway of the Tubular X that I’ve liked and this white and grey pair won’t be added to that list. I prefer the Primeknit pairs much better.

adidas Is Ready To Release Triple-Black Tubular Dooms

Miss out on the adidas Yeezy 750 Boost “Black”? Look no further than the adidas Tubular Doom “Triple Black” as your consolation prize. The Tubular Doom displays a number of aesthetic features that showcase the recent shift going on at adidas Originals to offer up lifestyle-ready models capable of crossing over into the performance realm. Sure, this pair doesn’t feature the magical combination of Primeknit and Boost, but the diverse Tubular outsole unit does offer up premium cushioning while a bolstered black suede works perfectly with neoprene for a Qasa-like inspiration throughout. The lingering influence of the original Tubular running series from 1993 is as present as ever on this model, as the side panel and heel reference the OG to contrast the new sock-like fit on the ankle collar. What do you think of the latest Tubular Doom release? Stay tuned for a stateside arrival and know that overseas retailers like Caliroots are stocking this pair today.

The adidas NMD Black/White/Tokyo Restocked Today

Word of advice, if you’re still on the hunt for an adidas NMD, be patient and don’t overpay. The NMD is currently one of the hottest sneaker models out there. They’re flying off shelves and some are being resold for crazy prices. Don’t be one of those people that end up paying way over retail to try to get a pair. Trust me when I say this, in due time the adidas NMD will be widely available at every mall across the country at retail price, and it actually may happen sooner than you think.

Take for example, Champs Sports recently restocked on the adidas NMD in the Black/White/Tokyo colorway. They took to their Twitter and pointed out all the locations that will have pairs of the highly coveted model. Check out the Champs Sports Launch Locator here and see if a shop on your area is carrying the shoe. If they don’t, remain patient Everyone will soon be able to get a pair, trust me.

Will James Harden Wear His New adidas CrazyLight Boost 2.5s For The Playoffs

James Harden and the Houston Rockets are on the precipice of playoff contention in the loaded Western Conference, which means if they can sneak into the post-season as the eighth seed, a year full of mishaps and disappointments could be righted. adidas Hoops is helping steer the ship in the right direction, as they’ve rewarded Harden with two brand new adidas CrazyLight Boost 2.5 PEs for the playoff push. Harden’s been wearing this model all season long while the three stripes work on designing his signature for next year, as the $200 million man has flexed a number of exclusives all season long. The final two feature Rockets-ready colorways, with a “Home” variety splitting the upper into two high-contrast black and white shades with a unique ’13’ PE branding on the tongue. The “Away” utilizes a black to red gradient throughout the Primeknit upper. The CrazyLight Boost 2.5 “Harden Home” will release on April 29th for $130, and the “Harden Away” will debut on May 14th. Check out more detailed photos below.

New adidas Athlete Carlos Correa Wears Custom adidas Cleats for Opening Day

Just yesterday we found out that reigning MLB American League Rookie Of The Year Carlos Correa joined the adidas family. Today was officially Opening Day for Carlos and the Astros as they faced off against the New York Yankees.

Correa wasted no time showing off his adidas pride as he wore a custom 1-of-1 adidas Boost Icon 1 cleat created by adidas Baseball. The cleats (pictured above) represent the fusion of Carlos’ family, his Astros family and joining the adidas family.

Correa?s family artwork includes influences from Correa?s family, heritage, his background, etc. ? including: Ponce, Puerto Rico; living by the water, fishing as a family, swimming with dolphins, Carlos Sr.?s work ethic, etc.

The Astros family artwork includes Texas, the Houston Astros, the Houston Astrodome, baseball design cues and living baseball 24/7. Lastly, the adidas family artwork includes the adidas Superstar and adidas NMD shoes, the hashtag #cleathead ? which is bringing the sneakerhead mentality to baseball cleats, and three fingers up to represent living the adidas ?three stripe life.”

Take a look at the custom cleat above and let us know what you think. For anyone interested, Correa helped the Astros open the season with a 5-3 victory and also hit a home run in the sixth inning.

The latest adidas EQT Running Support pays homage to the upcoming Boston Marathon that’s set to take placed later on this month. Dressed in patriotic vibes, today we get a closer look at the shoe.

The shoe’s upper comes dressed in two tones of grey done in a nubuck construction. Adding some contrast to the tonal look of the upper are the white Three Stripes placed on the side panels. In addition, a American flag is placed on the heel tab, while hits of red and blue give the shoe additional patriotic vibes. Set to drop later on this month, you will be able to pick up a pair of your own for $150.

I like the theme on the shoe but I’ve never been big on the adidas model. It’s done very nicely, but it’s just not for me.

First Look At The adidas Tubular Radial Iridescent

ADIDAS TUBULAR RADIAL 4 ADIDAS TUBULAR RADIAL 1 ADIDAS TUBULAR RADIAL 3 ADIDAS TUBULAR RADIAL 2

The adidas Tubular Radial is without a doubt one of the best new Tubular models that adidas has released. For the most part all of the releases that we’ve seen have the shoe come in a tonal offering. Colors such as the Fleece Grey, Navy Blue and Wheat have all kept it pretty subtle. This time around the aesthetics of the shoe do a complete 180 turn as iridescent hits appear on the shoe’s upper.

The Radial starts off with an all-white base to give the shoe a nice and clean appearance. The shoe’s doesn’t come in all-white though, as adidas decides to utilize the glossy iridescent look on areas such as the cage construction and heel. As far as the rest of the shoe goes, black branding and a white Tubular sole complete the major traits on it. Said to be releasing exclusively in GS sizes, how many of you are looking to pick up a pair?

via: Oneness

Author’s Take

I never got into the iridescent look. It was just a bit too flashy for my taste. The shoe looks clean if you like this type of look. As for me, this is an easy pass.
