New Primeknit Patterns Appear On This Upcoming adidas Ultra Boost

Today, we get a first look at an adidas Ultra Boost sporting a completely new Primeknit style, which featured thicker knit ribs and a dotted knit pattern on the toe, tongue, and ankle collar. The heel and cage are finished with a matte black look, while the tongue features a never-before-seen logo that spells out either CNY (Chinese New Year) or NYC a circular logo. Unfortunately, all we have from this early preview of the adidas Ultra Boost with this reengineered Primeknit upper are the photos, so check out the closer details ahead and stay tuned for a release date.
For all who were unable to cop the super-limited “Red Apple” adidas NMD R1 Primeknits, here’s another NYC-inspired pair of adidas shoes that should tickle your fancy. We know BAPE already designed a couple of colorways of the adidas NMD R1, but did they whip up an NMD XR1 too? This first look at a “Duck Camo” style of the newest NMD model surfaces today, and while some may be quick to bill these a Bape collaboration, the duck camouflage print lacks the Ape detailing that you’ll find in the Japanese streetwear brand’s signature look. Coach Kanye: Can The Yeezy Cleats Help adidas Schools Recruit

Imagine for a second you’re a five star high school football recruit. You are being courted by all of the top programs in the country. You’ve been the Michigan; you’ve been to Auburn; you’ve been to Oregon; you’ve had a chance to talk with legends like Charles Woodson, Cam Newton and Marcus Mariota. They are all giving you the pitch of why you should choose their school and achieve greatness there. Even if you don’t decide to suit for their schools, for your troubles you get a nice gift basket from their respective brands, whether it be Jordan, Under Armour or Nike.
But there’s one more school that you need to cross off the list and it’s an adidas school. But it’s not just any adidas school. It’s a unique program that just recently became the first… wait for it… Yeezy school. Yup, those cleats were just the beginning…
Now I imagine college football recruiting trips fall somewhere between my own personal experience when I was going through freshman orientation, that time I went to the University of Oregon and Nike gave us a tour, and the scene in He Got Game when Rick Fox was trying to bring in Jesus Shuttlesworth through uh, unconventional methods. The first step is the trip to the campus itself which is basically another beautiful sprawling campus like all the other beautiful sprawling campuses throughout the country. When you go to the school that has a huge successful college football program they’re all going to look great. The real meat of the trip is when you head into the football facilities.
That’s when you see the makr that this new brand is leaving on the school. The halls of the athletic department are not adorned with NCAA championships and portraits of legends past. Nope, it’s a little bit more esoteric as if Vanessa Beercroft got a hold of the design and all the while, College Dropout is playing on loop (yes, even “Last Call”). The training room is blasting songs like “Black Skinhead” and the superior remix to “Power” with Jay Z and the training gear that the players in there are wearing were designed by Don C. There’s even a barbershop inside where occasionally Ibn Jasper will pop up from time to time to give free cuts to the kids.
Next up is the locker room that has all of the modern amenities that you might expect from a top-flight program, whether it’s the lounge that has 2K playing in the background at all times to the spa facility that is just out of this world. The lockers themselves are state of the art and can only be opened by your fingerprint. But you notice that there’s one locker in particular that’s a little bit different from the rest and it’s got a name tag that you’re quite familiar with because it says “YZY”. Inside your hypothetical locker, your hosts show you what’s inside: a customized jersey with your name on it and pairs of Yeezy 350 and 750 cleats in the school’s colors. And by the way, if you haven’t been paying attention, your hosts that have been giving you the tour this whole time have been wearing exclusive colorways of the Yeezy that will never drop at retail.

But that’s not the highlight of the trip, amazingly. Your final destination is the stadium where you can hear the faint noise of “Father Stretch My Hands (Pt. 2)” being played by the band and as you make your way inside the stadium you’ll see that there is a conductor that looks familiar leading the charge. And it’s none other than Kanye West. He’s here to welcome you to the first Yeezy school. You better produce if you want those rare Yeezys…

Five adidas NMD Human Race Colorways By Pharrell Are Releasing Soon

Missed out on the first couple of Pharrell’s adidas NMD “Human Race” colorways? No need to worry, as five more looks are arriving at retailers on September 29th. Pharrell previewed the Light Blue adidas NMD “Human Race” during Kanye’s Yeezy Season 4 event on Roosevelt Island recently, and we’ve seen a couple of these upcoming colorways previewed as samples not too far back.
Today we get an official preview of all 5 colorways, each featuring different “Human Race” callouts. The Light Blue pair might be the most traditional of the batch, given the actual ‘Human Race’ text stitched in white while a rainbow trefoil branding hits the heel to contrast the black cage overlay. A matte black pair will also be available, with the adidas NMD Human Race callout camouflaged through matching black text. Another yellow pair will also be releasing, this time in a deeper shade of maize with white ‘Hue’ text.
Perhaps the most experimental pair comes in the form of a kelly green adidas NMD Human Race colorway. The elemental triangle looks like something from the periodic table with ‘Hu’ featured inside in white. A black supportive cage matches the Boost midsole unit. A University Red adidas NMD will also be available with a similar text callout, just without the matching triangle. Which Pharrell-helmed adidas NMD is your favorite?

The adidas Ultra Boost Triple White Will Be Available Again

Since popularized by Kanye West and worn by many other celebrities, the popular adidas Ultra Boost Triple White has been a sought after sneaker by many.
The model was already restocked in the recent months, and now, the German sportswear label will bring it once more, and possibly the last time until the new 3.0 (2017) version arrives.

The adidas Basketball family continues to grow, as the brand officially welcomes eight new members to its 2016 Rookie Class.
Thon Maker of the Milwaukie Bucks, Taurean Prince of the Atlanta Hawks, Wade Baldwin of the Memphis Grizzlies, DeAndre Bembry of the Atlanta Hawks, Ivica Zubac of the Los Angeles Lakers, Cheick Diallo of the New Orleans Pelicans, Patrick McCaw of the Golden State Warriors and Isaiah Cousins of the Sacramento Kings join the ranks of their initial draft class, which is highlighted by Brandon Ingram of the Los Angeles Lakers, Jaylen Brown of the Boston Celtics, Dragan Bender of the Phoenix Suns, Kris Dunn of the Minnesota Timberwolves and Jamal Murray of the Denver Nuggets.
Each member will play a collaborative and instrumental role in driving performance insights to create new footwear and apparel for adidas.
You can also look forward to meeting them in upcoming brand campaigns, activations and global tours.

Did you get a chance to scope out adidas Y-3’s newest creation? Derived from the brand’s classic Qasa model, adidas Y-3 has created the Qasa into a boot for this Fall season. If you’re in the market for a fresh pair of boots that look anything but ordinary, take a look at the adidas Y-3 Qasa Boot.
The adidas Y-3 Qasa Boot manages to keep many of the signature traits the Qasa High possesses. Features such as the Tubular-like sole and elastic straps still remain intact. It still comes with a neoprene upper and a set of waxed laces. The only difference lies in the height of the footwear. Being that it’s a boot, they needed to add six more sets of eyelets to heighten the aesthetics. You will also find premium leather and a carbon fiber-like textile on the upper, while a performance Poron lining completes the major features on the boot. Out now, pick up a pair of your own for $455.
It does look like a Y-3 creation. If you like the original Y-3 Qasa, I?m pretty sure you?re also going to look the boot version. I have no need for it, but it does have a pretty cool look.
Release Info For The Sneakers76 x adidas Consortium Guidance 93

The adidas NMD XR1 Core Black Releases This Weekend

Last month we saw the adidas NMD XR1 make its debut in a variety of colorways for men and women. This weekend the revamped NMD returns with a new feature.
Dropping in this Core Black colorway, the adidas NMD XR1 features a breathable and flexible Primeknit upper for an enhanced fit along with moulded TPU quarter panels, EVA midsole plugs, and a blacked out Boost midsole, a first for the NMD XR1.

I wasn’t really a fan of any of the colorways that released last month, but the shoe looks better with this blacked out Boost midsole. I still don’t think I would buy a pair though, I prefer the original NMD.
Will You Be Picking Up The adidas NMD_R1 Triple Black This Weekend

Joining the Solar Red NMD and the Core Black NMD XR1 that release this weekend, we now bring you official images of the adidas NMD_R1 Triple Black.
Just like the Solar Red pair, this new colorway of the NMD takes the tonal approach and uses a stretch mesh on the upper in all-black with reflective detailing on the three stripes branding and on the tongue tab. Added details include moulded EVA plugs on the midsole, a molded heel patch, and the a new blacked out Boost midsole.

The adidas D Rose 7 Hydration Is Releasing In A Few Days

This brand new Hydration colorway on the adidas D Rose 7 will soon be up for grabs. If you’re the newest Derrick Rose signature but were waiting for a bold take on the shoe, this may be the pair you were looking for. The mesh/Primeknit construction on the upper comes in a Volt-like colorway that gives the shoe a neck-breaking aesthetic. Hits of Black tone it down a bit as they can be found on the molded collar and Three Stripes branding on the toe. Hits of Aqua Green can be found on the laces ad throughout the shoe. Giving you a comfortable and stable feel is the White Boost midsole placed below. Said to be dropping September 16th for $160, let us know if you like the boldest look yet on the adidas D Rose 7.

We recently reported that the Pharrell x adidas NMD Human Species in the Core Black would be releasing next month. To hold you off until the release date arrives, here are even more official images of the upcoming collaboration between Pharrell and adidas.
Keeping things simple, subtle and tonal, this next collaboration come with a theme of “Human Species” instead of the “Human Race” theme we saw on the Yellow pair. The shoe comes with a Black Primeknit upper paired up with “Human Species” branding on the upper also stitched in Black.
