Ostrich Detailing On This adidas Gazelle

ADIDAS GAZELLE 1 ADIDAS GAZELLE 2 ADIDAS GAZELLE 3 ADIDAS GAZELLE 4 ADIDAS GAZELLE 5

As we dive deeper into the Fall we continue to see more and more colorways of the adidas Gazelle.

Adidas has made it a focal point to bring back the retro silhouette this Summer/Fall and they have sure done that as we can see with all the colorways that have dropped. It should only be a matter of time until we see a collaborative Gazelle. This new pair that we see above comes dressed in a black nubuck upper along with ostrich leather detailing in blue on the three stripes branding. A reflective heel tab and a white rubber sole unit finish off this Gazelle

Grab your pair from select adidas Originals retailers this Fall.

Author’s Take

This shoe could have looked even better if more ostrich detailing was added like on the heel and maybe the eyestay.

Is The Next Hit by adidas This $60 Shoe

Introducing the adidas Cloudfoam Ultra Zen. While this head-turning new model may not look anywhere remotely close to Dylan Raasch’s iconic Nike Roshe Run, there are a few parallels between the two pairs that are noteworthy. Not only is this shoe incredibly affordable at $60 USD, but the simplicity of the design has an Eastern influence, taking aim at the concept of Zen through a sleek, cloud-like construction perfect for everyday use. adidas Originals continues to create noteworthy concepts throughout the Fall 2016 season, and the Cloudfoam Ultra Zen could be the brand’s next must-have model.

The adidas Cloudfoam Ultra Zen utilizes a roomy fit by the toe allowing you to spread your feet out and relax. A new revolutionary footbed features massaging nubs for a fit that not only adds comfort but helps relieve tension the more you wear this pair. The upper is constructed from an air mesh for extra ventilation while an injected EVA outsole unit is as lightweight as it is durable. Design cues from the adidas Y-3 line and past Tubular incarnations are readily apparent here with a neoprene forefoot sporting block letter ‘adidas’ branding.

What do you think of the upcoming Cloudfoam Ultra Zen? Check out more detailed photos below and grab your pair from select retailers like Sneaker Politics for just $60 USD.

The First Ever adidas NMD Shoe Is Releasing Again This December

In December of 2015, the sneaker game changed completely. adidas unveiled the new NMD line of footwear, which later developed into one of the brand’s strongest legs to stand on. Now, it’s a foundationary piece for a potentially a whole new category, much like what the Roshe was to Nike when it was introduced back in 2012. The first-ever release of the adidas NMD is seen here, with the standout red and blue “bumpers” atop a white Boost sole and featuring a solid black Primeknit upper. It’s hard to call this shoe an icon of sneaker history, but it’s most certainly one of the most important sneakers of the last few years as it represents perhaps the strongest weapon in adidas’ arsenal. Today, the OG NMD runs up to $1,000, but here’s good news for those still in the hunt: The shoes are releasing again this December.

Right now, a release date for Thursday, December 15th has been confirmed by a retailer. That is nearly one year after the original release of this adidas NMD, and one thing that is undeniably true about the sneaker community is that it’ll buy the same shoe over and over again. Stay tuned for more updates, but be sure to mark your calendars for December 15th.

The Pharrell x adidas NMD Hu Collection Drops Tomorrow

There’s no doubting the adidas NMD’s position as one of the best sneakers of 2016. Add Pharrell into the mix and you have one of the most coveted shoes of the year, as we saw with the initial “Human Race” release back in August. Tomorrow, adidas will drop five more colorways from the “Hu” Collection, with each pair featuring a different embroidered logo of messaging. It’s rumored that of this quintet, the black colorway is the least limited, while the green pair with the triangular logo is the most limited. Regardless of quantity, you’d be lucky to snag any one of the five. The reservations are all closed on the adidas Confirmed App, but adidas will drop these at select stores worldwide and on adidas.com. Good luck!

The UNITED ARROWS x adidas Gazelle Is Now Up For Grabs

What do you get when UNITED ARROWS gets their way with a pair of the adidas Gazelle? A pretty sophisticated looking pair of sneakers. Japanese fashion label UNITED ARROWS does just that as they’re proud to introduce the UNITED ARROWS x adidas Gazelle.

UNITED ARROWS gives the adidas Gazelle a very subtle and minimalist aesthetic staring off with the upper done in a clean Grey suede construction that also happens to include the Three Stripes branding on the side panels. Giving the shoe some nice contrast are the hits of White noted on the tongue and heel. Below you will find an off-White sole unit to help give the shoe a bit of a classic touch. Available now at UNITED ARROWS, pick up a pair of your own for approximately $148

via: UNITED ARROWS

Author’s Take

I like the use of White on the tongue and heel since it does provide some nice contrast. In my opinion though, it would have looked better had they opted to go with a solid White sole.

The adidas Dragon Returns In Royal Blue

ADIDAS DRAGON 1 ADIDAS DRAGON 2 ADIDAS DRAGON 3

Are any of you out there familiar with the adidas Dragon? If you’re not then we don’t blame you because adidas hasn’t shown much love to the silhouette lately.

The runner from the 1970s has now returned and one of the first colorways to release this year is this Royal Blue pair that we see above. This pair is dominated by a royal blue suede upper with complementing white hits on the three stripes branding, tongue tag, heel tab, and the midsole. A black rubber outsole caps off the look on this adidas Dragon that will be available at select adidas accounts this Fall. Will you cop or drop?

via: Titolo

Author’s Take

This is my first time getting a look at the adidas Dragon. It’s not bad, it actually reminds me of other adidas silhouettes like the Samba and Gazelle.

Author’s Take

I’m still not too convinced on the look of the Ultra Boost Uncaged. I like the original Ultra Boost better cause of the cage. Maybe if I see them in person and try them on I’ll have a change of heart.

I like the sleek look of the shoe. I think I can get used to the zipper enclosure, I just hate the fact that it’s priced at $380. Hell, it could be even more once they arrive in the states.

Are you a fan of the adidas Ultra Boost Uncaged? If you answered yes, that’s great because a handful of new colorways are on the way, including the adidas Ultra Boost Uncaged Tan you see above. Let’s get a first look at this pair.

This adidas Ultra Boost Uncaged comes with a Primeknit upper done in a Tan colorway. The laces and heel counted also come in a tonal Tan motif to give the upper a nice streamlined look. Below you will find a Boost midsole done in an Orange colorway to give the shoe some nice pop and contrast. Author’s Take

I don’t mind the color of the upper, but I’ll pass on the Orange Boost. It would look so much better had it come in White, but on the other hand, this new color on the Boost gives us something we’ve never seen before.
