Stella McCartneys adidas Ultra Boost Is Coming In Triple White

Stella McCartney is one of the handful of high fashion collaborations that adidas has employed over the past decade. The daughter of The Beatles legend, she’s made a name for herself by designing clothes for Madonna’s world tours and through a joint venture with the trefoil brand dating back to 2004. It shouldn’t come as a surprise then, that she’s been able to rework some of adidas’ most popular silhouettes like this Stella McCartney x adidas Ultra Boost returning in the popular Triple White aesthetic. The Primeknit upper gets a lower profile as well as a new cage overlay made of transparent mesh and a synthetic tape-like textile for a simple, refined aesthetic. What do you think of the latest Triple White adidas Ultra Boost? Check out more detailed photos below and be on the lookout for this pair to arrive at retailers later this summer.

The adidas Crazy 8 Olympic Rings Celebrates The Summer Games

adidas Crazy 8 adidas Crazy 8 1 adidas Crazy 8 2 adidas Crazy 8 3 adidas Crazy 8 4 adidas Crazy 8 5

With the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil impending (August 5), this latest variation of the classic adidas Crazy 8 pays tribute to the international sporting event with an Olympic Rings colorway.

As suggested, the basketball sneaker takes cues from the primary symbol of the Olympic Games, which is composed of five interlocking rings, colored blue, yellow, black, green, and red on a white base. Essentially mimicking that same design and implemented on the model’s composition, accents of black are also utilized throughout to complement the overall design.

Stay tuned to KicksOnFire for an official release date, although, it should be very soon.

Author’s Take

I’m biased towards the theme and this silhouette is a classic too, so I’m a fan. If you’re a die-hard fan of both, you should consider purchasing since it probably won’t re-release anytime soon.

KoF Live: Three Stripes, Three Boxes With adidas Part II (Video)

A few months ago, we were treated to an unboxing video that featured three adidas kicks that all arrived at the KoF offices within hours of each from various sources. This past Friday, we got an unexpected sequel in the form of another trio of three stripes boxes, including the adidas NMD, adidas Superstar Primeknit Multicolor and the Lucas Premiere ADV. Sounds like a great time to do another KoF Live video and of course, me being me, I just had to unbox the NMD last to mess with the audience.

To stay up to date with all things Kicks On Fire Live, be sure to like our Facebook page and be notified when we’re broadcasting again. You’ll probably want to be tuned this week as a lot of things that I don’t think I can mention yet will be taking place from (redacted).

White & Blue Colors The Next adidas NMD

With a bred-inspired colorway and a wool variation on the way, the popular adidas NMD is unveiled in yet another finish that will be making its debut in the coming months ahead.

This time flaunting a cleaner makeup, white covers the sneaker’s sleek mesh composition and signature full-length boost midsole unit. Pronouncing the pristine makeup are blue-colored EVA inserts on the heel, while accents of black are prominent on the heel pull tabs and outsole.

Stay tuned to KicksOnFire for its availability, as it’s suggested to be offered in large quantities, unlike the more limited primeknit iterations.

Next Year, Your adidas Shoes Will Made By American Robots

Most of your sneakers are made in China, Vietnam, or another Asian country by young, inexperienced employees. Soon enough, that may all chance. adidas announces that it will open its first “Speedfactory” on U.S. soil in 2017; the plant is heavily automated and expects to employ around 160 people-mostly engineers. Each Speedfactory expects to produce one million pairs of the shoes a year, which is still less than 1% of the brand’s annual production, but adidas envisions a network of these automated facilities as it will rely much less on labor and reduces time-to-market by months. More details can be found on Oregon Live.
