The Clean Womens Wood Wood x adidas Ultra Boost
By SoleInsider
Following a detailed overview of the men’s pair, new images of the women’s Wood Wood x adidas Ultra Boost are now provided, as the silhouette is a complete counterpart of the aforementioned pair.
Flaunting a pristine profile overall, the sneaker’s breathable primeknit upper is rendered in white, while its recognizable TPU cage lacing component has been replaced with a midfoot strap instead. Bearing a perforated slit design on the component to coordinate with the sneaker’s lightweight build, the sneaker is essentially a slip-on with this refined finish.
Further detailed with a matching heel unit for more reinforcement, the heavenly hue is continued towards its midsole unit as well. Subtle black accents on the tongue label and outsole provide a sense of contrast, as additional pops of red and blue are seen on the pull tabs and insoles.
You can purchase a pair at select adidas retailers now for a retail price tag of $180
I’m a fan of the model overall. I’m not entirely sold on the strap, but I do like the colorway. It’s definitely versatile for both females and males as well.
Pure Platinum Yeezy and Wu-Tang Clan Foamposites Are On The Way
Following its initial look, a closer view at the men’s Wood Wood x adidas Ultra Boost is provided, as the sneaker essentially flaunts a clean profile.
Sporting a versatile colorway overall, black covers its primeknit upper which bears perforations throughout to allow breathability as well as ensuring a lightweight feel throughout daily wear. Unlike its traditional TPU cage lacing system, this variation’s three-stripe branding is styled individually and reinforced with canvas overlays. This refined component essentially holds the two-tone rope-style laces, while also allowing a more freedom of movement.
All resting atop a clean white midsole unit, additional white accents are applied on the heel tab and tongue label. Furthermore, the outsole is shaded in black to perfectly coordinate with its predominant colorway. Finishing touches include co-branding on the insoles and tongue. In addition, the sneaker’s monochromatic palette is subtly contrasted by touches of red and blue, which is seen on the model’s rear pull tabs. Also, it can be seen on the insoles via its respective logos.
Find a pair at select adidas retailers now for $180.
I’m a fan of the Denmark-based fashion label and while this model is pretty straightforward, I still like it. The refined caged system is pretty nice as well. You can’t go wrong with the colorway too.

The latest variation of the popular adidas Ultra Boost is treated in an exclusive women’s colorway of Shot Pink this season.
Defined by its breathable primeknit upper, this woven component bears navy as its predominant tone, while the punctuating hue is seen on the toe box alongside hits of cream, in addition to gracing the laces and tpu heel tab that reinforces the sneaker’s overall construction.
Further detailed with the model’s caged lacing system in contrasting black, the model is finished off with a clean white midsole unit and black outsole. You can find a pair at select adidas retailers now for $180.
Since it’s introduction, I’m an admirer of the silhouette. It’s stylish and performance driven. This colorway is another solid offering, especially for the ladies.
Pure Platinum Yeezy and Wu-Tang Clan Foamposites Are On The Way
Whether or not you like the look of the gradient upper on some of the Ultra Boost models, there’s no denying that this new look makes the shoe more versatile when it comes to what you can do with it. Take for example the adidas Ultra Boost Grape, making good use of the gradient design on the Primeknit upper, this is definitely one of the cleanest colorways I’ve see on the shoe.
This Grape colorway makes good use of the gradient design as it utilizes it to place similar colors such as purple, turquoise and black to create a very harmonious feel on the shoe. The rest of the Primeknit upper appears to follow suit as the same colors are knitted together to create a really dope look. A white Boost midoles, black rubbed outsole, black Three Stripes branding and the two-toned heel cage complete the look of the shoe. Stay tuned to find out when these will release.
For the most part, I really don’t like the gradient look on the Ultra Boost, but this Grape colorway works so well that I may just have to go ahead and pick up a pair. Great looking shoe!

adidas Brightens Up The Ultra Boost With Two Colorful Releases
By SoleInsider
Starting out in mostly neutral looks, adidas continues to add more and more color to the Ultra Boost as the popular running model’s second year begins. The Three Stripes provides an even bigger blast of color to the Ultra Boost this Spring, continuing the “wavy” pattern on the Primeknit upper but adding an even larger assortment of hues this time around. Here we see one colorway each for men (grey/black) and women (navy/pink), both sporting a solid base with a colorful splash at the toes. The two colorful new Ultra Boosts are arriving now overseas, so expect them soon at adidas running retailers in the US.
The adidas Originals ZX Flux Night Navy Gets Rid Of Some Branding
By SoleInsider
You might notice something a little different on this version of the adidas ZX Flux. Look closer and I’m sure you will see what is missing. In an attempt to differentiate itself from past offerings, the adidas Originals ZX Flux Night Navy has decided to removed the traditional Three Stripe branding from its side panels to create a more streamlined look.
The ZX Flux comes dressed in a navy blue mesh upper covered in white stitching seen all over the shoe. The rear side of the shoe comes with a black heel counter to create some minimal contrast on the upper. Lastly, tonal laces, a white sole unit and a red lace dubrae complete the look of the shoe. Available now at select retailers, pick up your pair today for $120.
The shape and build of the shoe is still there, but when you take a closer look at the shoe the removal of the Three Stripes is definitely a big change. I like it, as it keeps the silhouette looking different and fresh.
The Reebok Question Unworn Is Allen Iverson’s Greatest “What If?” Sneaker
Ever since the adidas Ultra Boost released we’ve been patiently waiting to get a mulitcolored version of it. More than one year later, and adidas has yet to satisfy our cravings. There is a new colorway of the shoe though. This new version does use a multitude of colors, but it’s not exactly what we were hoping for.
The Ultra Boost starts off with a grey Primeknit upper which is the accompanied by the three different colors hues placed on the upper of the shoe. The rainbow-like colors appear on the toebox of the shoe in a gradient-like motif. The heel cage and Three Stripe come in black, the lining comes in blue, and the Boost midsole keeps it original by coming in white. No U.S. release date on these yet, but you can try to pick up a pair internationally. Hot or not? Sound off in the comments below.
The adidas ZX Flux ADV is one of the newer hybrid releases that originally derived from the ZX Flux line. Surprisingly, out of all the past colorways that have already dropped, not one of them haa come in an all-black look, until today. Let’s take a look at the adidas ZX Flux ADV Black.
Just like you’d expect, the shoe comes in an all-black look that includes the lining, branding, sole unit and laces. The only thing that does not come in a black colorway happens to be the clear heel cage of the shoe, but being that’s it’s clear and you see right through it, that too appears to come in black. The mesh-constructed sneaker is said to now be arriving at select retailers for $110. Is this a cop or drop? Sound off in the comments below.
I’m surprised we hadn’t seen an all-black version on this model. Just like I expected, the shoe looks pretty cool. Personally, I like this model better than the original ZX Flux.
Did Kanye West Just Promise Free adidas Yeezys For His Fans
By SoleInsider
The ever-quotable Kanye West is back on Twitter firing away, and amidst all the opining was an interesting message that should have sneakerhead’s interests piqued. He claims to have spoken to adidas about “hooking y’all up with free Yeezys and adidas”, which can’t really be taken literally because the logistics of it sound…impossible, and shoe fiends as well as Kanye followers across the globe are always at the edge of the seat waiting for info on the next retail drop, meaning a giveaway could cause pandemonium, to put it lightly. This statement is likely similar to his “anyone who wants Yeezys will get them” statement from last year, so for now, we’ll just interpret this tweet as an echoing of that first claim. That said, if Kanye and adidas were to plan some sort of “free Yeezy” event, how should it go down? Will those who purchased a Tidal subscription get rewarded? Will there be another guessing game on Twitter? Let’s hear your thoughts.
The sneaker is composed of a Black Primeknit upper with red stitched detailing on the heel tab. The midsole has been blacked out and features adidas’ BOOST technology to offer a smooth and comfortable ride.
The Pirate Black colorway of the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 saw a restock on February 19, 2016. Despite word of increased production numbers, the shoe still sold out immediately, further soldifying Kanye West’s status as one of the big names in the sneaker world.

Andres Carrillo, News: Many people missed out on the first release of the Pirate Black colorway but I’m not sure how happy Yeezy fans are to see the same exact colorway release again. Regardless, they’re still gonna sell out instantly.
Sneakers In 4K: adidas Yeezy Boost 350 Pirate Black (Video)
By SoleInsider
So you missed out on the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 restock earlier this month. We get it. There’s nothing more frustrating to a sneakerhead than missing out on a release or a restock of a pair they’ve been waiting so long for. Well, it’s not going to get easier because the brands are not here to do us any favors. They might increase the production and give you some hope of copping someday, but not enough that you’ll be able to just walk into a store and buy a pair. Not until Yeezy hits Ralph (meaning total ubiquity and acceptance by mainstream) level. So in the meantime, enjoy this look at the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 Pirate Black (not my pair, because I missed out too) in stunning 4K as part of our new Sneakers In 4K video series. Maybe watch it over and over again until there’s another restock.
adidas Shipped Out Original Pirate Black Yeezys During Last Weeks Release
By SoleInsider
Last weekend, adidas Originals dropped another installment of the adidas Yeezy 350 Boost “Pirate Black”. The “2.0” pair wasn’t exactly the same as the original release either, as plenty of people noted additional heel padding for more support for this Yeezy pair. When released on February 19th, people started reporting that while the box and style code were completely different, some lucky (or unlucky, depending on perspective) customers got the original Pirate Blacks. Would you be upset if you ordered these Yeezys and wound up with the original Pirate Black pair? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
An All-White Colorway Of The adidas NMD Is Coming Soon
By SoleInsider
The new colorways of the adidas NMD continue to roll out week after week. A new colorway that will be releasing some time in the month of May with this Vintage White version that features an all-white Primeknit upper.
Adding some contrast to the look are hits of red and blue overlaying on the midsole. Just like every pair before this one the BOOST midsole has been left in white but as we’ve already seen that won’t be the case for much longer. Retail price for the white, blue and red colorway of the adidas NMD will be $170 with a release date expected in May. Keep it locked to Kicks On Fire for more images and information regarding this NMD.
I’m sure that these will sell out just as fast as the all-white Ultra Boosts. Just don’t let Kanye be seen wearing these too because if he does they’ll be impossible to get your hands on.
Bright Blue For The adidas EQT Running Support 93 Tokyo Marathon Series
By SoleInsider
This latest variation of the adidas EQT Running Support 93 consists as part of the brand’s “Marathon Series,” which is inspired by the 1964 Tokyo summer games.
Essentially a reimagined classic, the model was specifically built for Robert ?Bob? Lee Hayes — an American athlete who dominated the 100m competition during the 1964 summer games by winning two gold medals in both the 100m dash and 4x100m relay race.
Featuring a distinct suede blue upper, the low-top is enhanced with gold accents and the national flag of Japan on the heel. Retailing for $150, you purchase the limited edition pair at select adidas retailers now for $150, while more stockists will receive the pair on February 27.
The adidas Y-3 Chimu Boost Is The Latest Model The Y-3 Line Has To Offer
By SoleInsider
The adidas Y-3 line keeps expanding their wide array of footwear options as they just released yet another brand new model. Dubbed the adidas Y-3 Chimu Boost, today we take a look at the two inaugural colorways that will help debut the brand new Y-3 offering.
The shoe will come in a low-top slim looking fashion constructed out of neoprene material. The shoe will also come with an elastic strap on the heel to secure the ankle as well as a patent leather panel utilized as part of the lacing system. Lastly, the beloved Boost technology is placed on the all-white midsole. You have two colorways to choose from, matte black and white, or grey, black and white. Available now, pick up your very own pair today.
In my opinion, the shoe is a bit underwhelming considering the fact that it’s a Y-3 offering. I usually like what the line has to offer, but I’ll have to pass on this model.
