The adidas NMD R1 Triple Black Has Reflective Stripes

adidas-nmd-triple-black-release-date

It was only a matter of time before the adidas NMD went “Triple Black”. Much has been said about adidas Originals’ dominance in the lifestyle category over the past few seasons. The immense fandom has followed the patented Boost cushioning system, minimalist design cues, and premium Primeknit woven constructions.

Now with the addition of colorized Boost, you can only expect more success to follow. The adidas NMD “Triple Black” will release at select retailers on September 17th. The offering skips out on the Primeknit usually found atop the more premium renditions of the adidas NMD R1. Instead, a simple yet effective combination of mesh and neoprene create a lightweight ride covered in an ominous Core Black shade.

Matching Boost cushioning continues the black motif. Reflective three stripe branding adds some depth. What do you think of the latest Triple Black NMD release? Check out a better look below and stay tuned for more updates right here on Sneaker News.

Black & White Primeknit Cover The adidas Tubular Defiant

ADIDAS TUBULAR DEFIANT 1 ADIDAS TUBULAR DEFIANT 3 ADIDAS TUBULAR DEFIANT 2

It seems like adidas is placing Primeknit on anything and everything these days. This could be a good or bad thing, all depending on who you ask.

One of the latest silhouettes to get covered in the lightweight and breathable material is the latest design from the Tubular family. Up above we take a look at the adidas Tubular Defiant Primeknit in the new Black/White colorway. This women’s pair features a predominantly Black Primeknit upper with a unique design in white on the toe. A collar similar to the one we see on the NMD also makes an appearance while a white Tubular sole caps things off.

What are your thoughts on this adidas Tubulae Defiant Primeknit in Black? Will any ladies be adding a pair to their collection?

Author’s Take

Not really feeling it. The side panel/heel area looks a little weird in my opinion.

adidas NMD Bred Pack

The adidas NMD is back with the new “Bred Pack” slated for a release later this summer. adidas Originals has dominated the summer months thanks to a smart combination of breathable Primeknit uppers and the extra cushion found in the brand’s Boost injected midsoles. With the likes of the adidas Ultra Boost Uncaged and the adidas NMD series going strong, it isn’t too hard to figure out why we’re seeing a three stripes renaissance the past few seaons.

The adidas Originals NMD “Bred Pack” utilizes two brand new colorways of the mesh adidas NMD R1, each in a familiar Chicago-esque shade. A simple black pair utilizes a neoprene heel for added comfort while a bold red splashes on the midsole. The above pictured red colorway is the inversion of the more traditional “Bred” theme, with a vibrant monochromatic red upper split between neoprene and mesh. A core black shade contrasts on the midsole and outsole.

There’s still no word yet on a release date regarding this NMD offering, but stay tuned for more updates right here on Sneaker News. Be sure to let us know what you think of this NMD_R1 “Bred Pack” by taking your thoughts to our comments section too.
