The adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Beluga Is Only Days Away

It’s been a hot minute since adidas released a 350 version of the Yeezy Boost. Sure that 750 with GITD sole dropped a few months back, but the most versatile pair from the Yeezy collection has had a pretty silent 2016. Until now.

This weekend will bring the release of the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Beluga, the first 350 drop of 2016. Considered the second version of the Boost 350, some differences include the added height to the shoe, the paint stripe placed on the lateral side of the shoe and the “SPLY-350″ branding placed on the new paint stripe. The pattern on the Primeknit also appears to be a bit different, as does the construction of the Boost infused sole unit, which now has more of a translucent look to it.

Releasing on September 24th for $220, be sure to visit our adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Beluga hub page to find out how you can try to get your hands on a pair.

Author’s Take

I’m one of the few people who probably isn’t excited about this release. I don’t hate the model, but it doesn’t really stand out to me. The new colored stripe is not nearly enough to make me want a pair.

Big adidas NMD XR1 Releases Going Down On Black Friday

adidas Originals has 5 upcoming colorways of the adidas NMD XR1 slated to release on Black Friday, November 25th, 2016. The announcement should make fans of the popular silhouette – us included – quite happy given how hard it’s been to grab a pair before this Primeknit and Boost gem sells out. The handful of NMD XR1 Black Friday releases puts the silhouette as the focal point of the three stripe’s upcoming Holiday 2016 plans and should give plenty the opportunity to finally land a pair.

Details remain a bit limited at the moment, as we have full style and color information readily available but no actual preview of the colorways themselves. What you can expect is a number of looks that ditch the monochromatic tendencies of the adidas NMD XR1 for combinations like Vapour Grey and Ice Purple, Midnight Grey and Noble Ink, and more.

Stay tuned for a full preview of these upcoming NMD XR1 Black Friday styles right here on Sneaker News and head to our release dates page for a full overview of all of the latest upcoming sneakers.

adidas NMD XR1 Preview For November 2016

The NMD reign continues, as the three stripes continue to introduce new colorways and styles onto the famed crossover running/lifestyle offering even with the colder months ahead. Today we get a look at 2 brand new colorways of the adidas NMD XR1 each slated to release at select retailers on November 11th, 2016.

The adidas NMD XR1 takes the NMD series a step further through a protective TPU cage overlay complete with additional ventilation for a sleek, functional design. While adidas has teamed up with the likes of mastermind Japan recently to take a more premium approach to this silhouette, the standard issued Primeknit offering is as relevant a silhouette as any out there right now. Touches of suede land on the tongue and heel for a refined casual aesthetic while “The Brand With The Three Stripes” branding gets an international treatment on the heel.

November will bring a new monochromatic Olive colorway and a subtle Light Grey, each featuring matching accents on the Boost midsole unit and a black heel tab to match the outsole. Which NMD XR1 are you feeling? Check out more photos below and stay tuned for more release dates right here on Sneaker News.

Author’s Take

If you?ve seen the yeezy boosts featured in YEEZY Season 4, then another variation of the model in a tonal finish is also coming. This colorway is pretty appealing as well. I like the application of a colored boost.

Author’s Take

Since Kanye?s abrupt departure from Nike, a part of me feels this is a subtle jab towards the brand with a ?flat? Swoosh. Other than that, I like the overall colorway and it?ll obviously get the attention it deserves.

The mastermind Japan x adidas Originals Collection Releases Tomorrow

We’re only a day away from mastermind Japan‘s upcoming collaboration with adidas Originals that prominently features one of the best colorways of the adidas NMD XR1 to date. The trefoil brand has done an amazing job at keeping people interested in the adidas NMD series with upcoming collaborations with BAPE and more, but this premium mastermind Collection will kick things off and set the bar for others to follow. Today we get the best look yet at both the mastermind adidas NMD XR1 and the mastermind adidas Tubular Instinct, both with different approaches from the Japanese boutique thanks to premium touches of suede and leather throughout.

The mastermind adidas NMD XR1 is still the main attraction here, as the protective outer cage is revamped through the use of premium leather to match the heel construction. The Core Black colorway matches mastermind’s usual high fashion yet ominous aesthetic while contrasting white hits the Boost midsole and the signature skull and crossbones logo. mastermind Japan also made the adidas Tubular Instinct a head-turning collaborative effort thanks to an additional zipper on the heel reminiscient of their past collaborations with the Vans Sk8-Hi. The large skull and cross bones logo adds a menacing touch.

The mastermind adidas NMD XR1 and Tubular Instinct will release at select stateside retailers on September 20th with each pair will retailing for $220 USD. Check out more detailed shots below and stay tuned for more updates right here on Sneaker News.

The adidas AlphaBOUNCE Triple Black Is Available Now

adidas Running has been one of the most innovative imprints over the past two years thanks to a dedication to both Primeknit woven uppers and Boost midsoles. The cushion system has given us such classics as the adidas Ultra Boost and its Uncaged brother, while Boost has also found lifestyle success in such models like the adidas NMD. But now the adidas AlphaBOUNCE is here to steal some of the Boost shine thanks to an aesthetic that’s both fashion forward and functional for a smooth, comfortable ride. The Bounce foam cushion system is a bit different than the Boost we’ve come accustomed to, and even the seamless FORGEDMESH upper brings something new to the table. Now the adidas AlphaBOUNCE Triple Black is available, taking the popular black on black look to the new running model with ease.

The FORGEDMESH upper features a one-piece layered material molded with a ribbed pattern for support in strategic areas that expands while your foot moves in a natural stride. The head-turning pattern that debuted with the first slate of AlphaBOUNCE releases is relegated to the heel here while touches of white land on the three stripe branding to contrast the Triple Black upper. Check out more detailed shots below and know that you can grab this adidas AlphaBOUNCE Triple Black today for $100 USD.

Colored Boost Is Coming To The adidas Ultra Boost

ADIDAS ULTRA BOOST 1 ADIDAS ULTRA BOOST 2 ADIDAS ULTRA BOOST 3

Who’s ready to see the adidas Ultra Boost release with a colored Boost midsole? So far we’ve seen the NMD, NMD XR1, and the Ultra Boost Uncaged get the colored Boost treatment, but for some strange reason adidas hasn’t shown any love to the original Ultra Boost.

This adidas Ultra Boost takes on the all-black look as small hits of light grey can be seen on the Primeknit material on the toe and side panels. Everything else on the shoe is black including the side panel cage, heel counter, laces, inner liner, the Boost midsole, and the rubber outsole.

There is no release date at the moment for this blacked out adidas Ultra Boost but make sure you stay tuned to Kicks On Fire for updates.

Author’s Take

It’s cool to see colored Boost on the original Ultra Boost, but I want to see something other than black. I don’t plan on picking these up when they do eventually release.

ADIDAS EQT RUNNING SUPPORT 93 1 ADIDAS EQT RUNNING SUPPORT 93 3 ADIDAS EQT RUNNING SUPPORT 93 2

We recently took a look at the adidas EQT Running Support 93 with a new modern construction that saw the retro silhouette get dressed with a Primeknit upper.

I don’t consider myself a fan of the EQT Running Support 93, but this pair is real nice. The blue suede upper looks dope combined with the gum outsole.

Heres A Runners Review On The 3D-Printed adidas Futurecraft

One of only 15 pairs of the adidas Futurecraft sneaker found its way into the hands of fitness blogger Faya of FitnessOnToast.com, who proceeded to?no, not resell the shoe on eBay, but actually wear them. We know, it’s a foreign concept to sneakerheads, but some people actually wear limited sneakers. Anyway, Faya laced up her pair of the 3D-printed sneakers made with recycled ocean waste and let everyone know what she thought. Although she doesn’t seem to delve very deep into the performance aspects of the shoe, you can get a look at the innovative running model in action in her video, and find beauty shots of the shoe below. Iman Shumpert No Longer With adidas, Enters Sneaker Free Agency

Iman Shumpert might still be under contract with the Cleveland Cavaliers, but he’s now a sneaker free agent. The past couple of weeks Iman has been seemingly everywhere from showing up at the Yeezy Season 4 unveiling to support Teyana Taylor to training with teammates Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love. And while Shump hit the fashion show in a pair of the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 “Pirate Black”, he’s most recently been spotted wearing the likes of Nike and Jordan Brand. With two of Nike’s signature superstars on his team already in Kyrie Irving and LeBron James, it’s probably a safe bet that Iman will be lacing up a Swoosh silhouette this coming season. We’ll have to wait and see.
