Long before Pharrell celebrated the Human Race with the adidas NMD, he was reminiscing about Parisian adventures with the Stan Smith. The Jacquard print, which first debuted on the Stans and track jacket in 2014, is inspired by Pharrell’s trip to the renowned Marché Saint Pierre fabric boutique. adidas is planning to revive this stylish look on the Stan Smith Mid as well as on a backpack for surprise release this week. Look out for a release on December 10th on adidas.com and select retailers worldwide.
NAKED Unveils Their adidas Collaboration With Incredible Underwater Photoshoot

Copenhagen’s crown jewel of sneakers is none other than NAKED, the female-focused shop that opened back in 2004. While they do carry men’s products as well, NAKED is geared toward the lady sneakerheads who are always on point with their footwear, and based on their track record of super-sleek collaborations, their acute knowledge of women’s footwear trendis undeniable. Today, they unveil their first-ever collaboration with adidas with an insane underwater photoshoot featuring the Ultra Boost, Samba, and two models Barbara Egholm & Emilie Lilja who are as buoyant as they are beautiful. The aqua-tone color palette of the shoes are a nod to NAKED’s signature color as well as the vast ocean around them, resulting in one of the finest adidas Ultra Boost colorways yet.
The NAKED x adidas Ultra Boost and Samba will release this Friday, December 16th exclusively at NAKED in-store and online. A global release at select shops will follow exactly a week later on December 23rd.

Well, you can’t say that James Harden lacks confidence. As the face of not only his own signature shoe with adidas, but the leading face of the entire brand (non-Yeezy division), Harden is in the process of building an empire within the three stripes. We have been covering Harden’s arrival to adidas for some time now, but the first real chance the people will get to see, feel and wear that ascension is with the adidas Harden Vol. 1 Pioneer colorway that launched this past weekend.
Harden describes his shoe as not only something you can wear on and off the court but also one of the catalysts for the mind-boggling statistics he’s putting up this year for the Houston Rockets. The adidas Harden Vol. 1 has the chance to be something special for not only Harden and adidas, but the basketball sneaker community in general, which has been itching for something new and fresh (the two haven’t intersected for quite some time).

The adidas Ultra Boost phenomenon continues tomorrow with the third iteration of this popular running/lifestyle shoe. Eleven colorways are in the books (six for men and five for women), with all featuring the new ribbed Primeknit style for even better fit, stability, and breathability compared to the previous two models. Following its maroon/burgundy finish, the women’s adidas NMD XR1 is also treated in an understated palette of icepur/midnight grey this season.
Defined by its intricate primeknit upper, bearing a distinctive pattern throughout — grey accents are utilized for its laces, synthetic lacing apparatus and branded heel to further detail its profile, while EVA inserts are seen on the heel. Finally, a crisp white boost sole unit and versatile gum outsole finishes off the sleek design.

James Harden And adidas Did It Big For The Debut Of The adidas Harden Vol.1

When it comes to the debut of the adidas Harden Vol.1, adidas was all in! The first James Harden signature with adidas made its debut yesterday and throughout the country adidas held events celebrating and promoting the Harden Vol.1 (and apparel line).
Events included James Harden and adidas working with local artists, musicians, high school athetes and sneakerheads in various locations including Atlanta, New York and Los Angeles to create three unique Harden Vol.1 events/parties that helps introduce the release of the shoe to the public. If you happened to be in attendance, you had the chance to things such as test the Harden Vol. 1, customize apparel and even enjoy performances by some of James’ favorite artists and DJs.
Here is a quick breakdown of what happened in every city:
Los Angeles: James was in attendance and surprised fans at the adidas Santa Monica store and Foot Locker 3rd Street Promenade. He took pictures with fans and even picked up the tab for a few sneakerheads who were waiting to get Harden Vol. 1. James. He then went to Nice Kicks for a West Coast style block party with food, hoops, custom art by @thankyoux and performances by DJ E-Rock, DJ Justin Credible and DJ Mustard.
New York: Fans in attendance were treated to a performance Jeezy as well as art by @askewone at the adidas x Foot Locker Harden Vol. 1 launch party at NYC33.
Atlanta: Wheeler High School hosted their Harden Vol. 1 celebration with @occasionalsuperstar designing Harden-themed art posters and DJ Esco playing for thousands of high school basketball players.

A Closer Look At The Black/White adidas Tubular Shadow

Have you seen the adidas Tubular Shadow yet? The sleek, low top runner is one of the three stripes’ newest silhouettes and it looks like its gonna be a hit.
Having a similar look to the extremely popular Yeezy Boost 350, this version of the Tubular Shadow comes equipped with a knit upper in black with sublte hits of white on the underlay. Additional black detailing has been added on the laces, tongue tag, and inner liner. A white trefoil logo on the tongue and a white Tubular sole complete the look. The best part about the Tubular Shadow is that it’ll only cost you $100. Not bad if you can’t get your hands on a pair of Yeezys.
Official Images Of The adidas Ultra Boost 3.0 Energy

A couple of adidas Ultra Boost 3.0 colorways dropped over the weekend, but expect many many more options to drop in the coming months. One of those colorway set to drop in a couple months is the adidas Ultra Boost 3.0 Energy.
The official images of the adidas Ultra Boost 3.0 Energy shows that the cage and Primeknit upper is done in a Red hue with hits of Black sprinkled on the woven knit and the heel counter provide some nice contrast. Two-toned laces, a White Boost midsole and Black Continental rubber outsole complete the look of the shoe. No official release date just yet, but expect these to drop sometime during February of 2017 for $180.

Out of all the Ultra Boost versions, the 3.0 is definitely my favorite. I’ve already seen a couple of colorways I’d love to add to my collection.
Composed of the brand?s signature knitted composition in beige, the sleek and stylish profile is also defined by its distinctive lacing apparatus comprised of leather and an elastic mid-foot strap, which are rendered in contrasting pale nude. In this particular lifestyle gallery, the aesthetic is enhanced in dramatic fashion via its portrayal against the sunset.
A crisp white tube-inspired sole unit that provides superb comfort and durability solidifies the silhouette’s overall build.
Scheduled to debut at select adidas retailers overseas on December 8th, stay tuned for its availability stateside.
I?m a big fan of this silhouette. I like it a lot more in this colorway. I?m kind of iffy on that sock detail, but the overall design looks great nonetheless.

Draped in an autumnal appropriate palette consisting of maroon/classic burgundy, the sneaker flaunts an intricate primeknit construction alongside the application of tonal synthetics/mesh for its distinctive lacing apparatus to reinforce its overall profile.

One of the more attractive silhouettes this year in my opinion. I’m biased towards the colorway overall and this should be a nice option for the ladies.
A First Look At The Retro-Inspired adidas Flashback

Adidas continues to create new silhouettes left and right whether it’s from their running, basketball, or Basketball divisions.
One of the latest models that we take our first look at today is the adidas Flashback. Having some similarities to past silhouettes like the Gazelle and Samoa, that’s where the name “Flashback” comes from. This sneaker comes equipped with a breathable mesh upper and a foam midsole for that lightweight feel and comfort. Presented above is a classic black/white colorway and pink/white pair.
Look for the adidas Flashback to arrive at select adidas Originals retailers in the near future.
Not a bad looking shoe, but there’s other similar alternatives that I prefer better than this. Hopefully it has a low price point so people can gravitate towards it.
No, we’re not talking about any Back to the Future reference here, but adidas Originals does indeed go back in time, so to speak, with this new retro-inspired silhouette for women dubbed the Flashback. It’s apparent that they’re flashing back to vintage models like the Samoa and Gazelle for the shoe, featuring a familiar old-school look but built in modern mesh and foam for a comfortable ride. Check out two debut colorways of black and pink here, and find them arriving at select adidas Originals retailers and adidas.com soon.
Both Of These Colorways Of The adidas EQT ADV 91-16 Dropped This Morning

adidas had two new colorways of the adidas EQT ADV 91-16 drop this morning. One came in White, while the other came in Black. Both offerings rock tonal(ish) look with the exception of the hits of Grey found throughout. Notable features that make this model a special one are the taped mesh and neoprene combination. The ribbon Three Stripes branding on the paneling to help give it that classic EQT motif, and the polymer eyelet & heel clip helps gives the shoe its unique look. My favorite feature on this model is without a doubt the overall shape of the shoe. It looks great on and off-feet. Get a good look at both pairs and good look getting a pair (here’s hoping for a restock).
The adidas Tubular family gains another new member this holiday season with the debut of the Tubular Shadow Knit. With some obvious YEEZY Boost 350 influence, the latest Tubular model goes sleek and low with a knit textile upper in a unique lateral/medial mismatch with heathered black and white on one side and solid black on the other, all with a white foam sole below. Much easier and cheaper to acquire than a pair of Yeezys, the Tubular Shadow Knit is arriving now at adidas Originals retailers like BAIT for $100.
