adidas Just Dropped A Poor Mans Version Of The NMD

There’s no denying that the adidas NMD series is one of the strongest offerings from any brand, but adidas is tinkering with the Boost and Primeknit offering for an everyman’s version known as the adidas X PLR.
The slip-on upper features numerous panels that can be directly traced back to the adidas NMD, from the heel to the synthetic overlay featuring three stripe branding. This “Core Black” colorway skips out on the Boost midsole for a simpler, more cost-effective mold while a breathable mesh upper adds ventilation without cutting back on the sleek silhouette inspired by the NMD. An Oreo-Inspired adidas Ultra Boost 3.0 Is Releasing

The newly-introduced adidas Ultra Boost 3.0 released in a variety of colorways recently, and it’s previewed in another standout finish that takes cues from the delectable Oreo cookie.
Its defining and revamped primeknit upper dons the respective theme with a predominantly white hue, mixed with black threading intertwined throughout. The distinctive three stripe caging system inherits a translucent build, while a black TPU heel counter further complements the colorway, as well reinforcing its overall construction.
Finally, a clean white boost sole unit tops off the profile.
A release date has not been announced yet, although, stay tuned to KicksOnFire for further updates.
The Highs and Lows x adidas EQT Support 93 Interceptor Drops In the USA Tomorrow

Australia’s best exporter of sneaker collabs offers up another gem with the Highs and Lows x adidas EQT Support 93 “Interceptor”, which receives its stateside release tomorrow. Inspired by the rugged vehicle driven by Mad Max in the classic Australian-produced films, the EQT Support is given an appropriate colorway in black cowhide, nubuck, and neoprene with sandy gradient detailing and a speckled sole to match the desert terrain seen in the Mad Max franchise. After dropping exclusively in Australia last month in-shop at Highs and Lows, the “Interceptor” EQT Support revs in to adidas Consortium boutiques in the US like Sneaker Politics tomorrow, December 10th for $150.
adidas Skateboarding Releases A Snoop Dogg & Mark Gonzales LA Stories Music Video

Now to celebrate the collab, adidas Skateboarding just released a music video that features an original track by Snoop dubbed “Cali Way”. The music video takes it back to the moment the two West Coast legends of hip-hop and skateboarding joined forces to pay homage to their home city at one of Los Angeles? most recognizable and iconic destinations ? the iconic Randy?s Donuts
adidas Skateboarding Pro team riders Daewon Song, Na-Kel Smith, Tyshawn Jones, and Jack Fardell, as well as influencers, industry executives, media, and fans all came out for the unique experience that included a special DJ performance by Snoop.

adidas Harden Vol. 1 Gets XENO For New Black Ops Colorway

The new hit signature shoe for James harden goes into stealth mode with this new “Black Ops” colorway for the adidas Harden Vol. 1. But they’re not all about blending in, as the shoe’s all-black colorway also gets hit with the XENO technology for a bright flash of color-shifting reflectivity. The “Black Ops” Harden Vol. 1 sees the first release of the model without a leather or suede toe piece, as this one opts instead for a dynamic elastic shroud in black to match the black knit upper and blacked-out translucent midsole.
The Harden Vol. 1 XENO “Black Ops” drops December 16th at Foot Locker and select adidas Basketball retailers.
The Return Of The adidas NMD In The OG Colorway Has Been Postponed

It was around this time one year ago that adidas decided to introduce the world to the adidas NMD. The first colorway that released was this Black, White, Red and Blue version you see above. Now known as the OG colorway, the shoe was supposed to make a return this month but for some reason the release date has been pushed back.
An anonymous source has let it be known that the OG colorway will still be releasing, but not this month. The latest info now states that the shoe will re-release on January 14th, which is only a month away so we won’t have to wait that much longer. Are you excited for this drop? Stay tuned as more info on this highly anticipated release begins to surface.
I can’t believe it’s been close to a year since these released. It would have been dope had they released these exactly on the 1 year anniversary. Regardless of when they do drop, I’m pretty sure fan are pumped to get another shot at these.
As the moniker suggests, the distinctive aesthetic is inspired from the popular film, Mad Max and the legendary ?Triple Black? XB Ford Falcon coupe featured.
Essentially mimicking the vehicle?s design, the low-top sneaker dons a stealthy finish, comprised of neoprene, waxed sailcloth, aged cowhide and nubuck. To further coordinate with its respective theme, speckles of grimy desert dirt, gradient ?zoomiepipe? stripes and blood-red accents are prominent across the midsole, outsole, heel and three stripe motif.

A Recap Of Copa Basel 2016 Featuring adidas Soccer

Miami Art Basel occurred last weekend and to celebrate the international art affair, soccer lifestyle blog, Kicks to the Pitch, joined forces with adidas soccer for another event that united art and soccer fans alike with the COPA BASEL: THE FACE-OFF.
Essentially celebrating all things Copa, the event showcased new products while also highlighting the Copa 17 Red Limit boot from adidas Soccer plus a weekend full of art, customization and charity.
With additional support by EA Sports and Jason Markk, COPA BAEL kicked off last Saturday, December 3, 2016 at The Tango Space. The invite-only experience featured music by Just Blaze and Safe Stadick, drinks provided by Heineken and a two-team soccer face-off led by footwear artisans Shoe Surgeon leading SRGN FC and Jester leading Red Ribbon Recon FC.
Both artisans created custom soccer boots with adidas? most popular silhouettes for their teams consisting of music producer Just Blaze, former NFL star wide receiver Chad “OchoCinco” Johnson, creative artists Naturel and amuse126, sneaker designer John Geiger, fitness model Tamra Dae, photographer Shayna Batya and more.
Jester created a mash-up of the Copa Mundial soccer cleat x AlphaBounce, while Shoe Surgeon revealed the Copa Mundial x D. Rose.
A Meet & Greet Media Day, where fans and media had an opportunity to come and chat with both teams, took place on Sunday, December 4th. This event was open to anyone able to find special invitation soccer balls that were spread throughout Miami during Art Basel Week.
Those who found it also received a free, limited edition COPA BASEL soccer jersey in exchange for unworn adidas soccer boots or sneakers, with proceeds going to Soles4Souls, a non-profit global social enterprise committed to fighting poverty through the collection and distribution of shoes and clothing.
Heres A Look At Three New Colorways Of The adidas Tubular X Primeknit

Adidas will be giving us a few new colorways of the adidas Tubular X this holiday season that should appeal to fans of the silhouette.
Coming in your choice of either Sesame, Grey, or Black, each pair comes constructed with a Primeknit upper and suede detailing on the cage support on the ankle. White sole units with translucent detailing by the heel finish off the look.

Utilizing a Primeknit upper, this women’s colorway of the NMD XR1 takes on a Maroon and Collegiate Burgundy upper for a clean Fall-inspired look. The Boost midsole and heel tab have been done in white while a gum outsole adds to the lifestyle appeal of this colorway.

The adidas Originals Xplr will soon arrive stateside in a brand new colorway. This time around the shoe opts for a clean Blue tonal upper sitting on top of a White sole. If you’re not too familiar with this model, it boasts similar traits we’re used to seeing on today’s sleek runner-type silhouettes.
The adidas Originals Xplr comes with an upper constructed out of synthetic leather overlays accompanying the mesh build upper. Additional synthetic leather is found on both the heel and tongue tag. The shoe’s toggle-assisted lacing system is without a doubt the most unique feature on the shoe. The all-Blue upper is then placed on top of a White foam sole to create some nice overall contrast. Out now, find these at international retailers and expect them to drop stateside in the near future.
adidas And Kris Bryant Just Announced A Multiyear Partnership Extension

MLB NL MVP Kris Bryant and adidas just announced a multiyear partnership extension. This announcement means that Bryant will continue to play a leading role in brand marketing campaigns as well as with collaborations on future baseball cleats and accessories.
“It’s a phenomenal time to be partnered with adidas with all the energy and momentum that the brand has right now,” said Bryant. “adidas embraced me as part of the family from the start. It’s been a great collaboration and we share a vision for creating the future.”
With Bryant being only 24 years old and already considered one of the best player in the world, adidas has something special in store with him, that why the extension appeared to be a no-brainer.
“Kris Bryant is an incredible player,” said Mark King, adidas Group North America president. “What I love about him is just how humble and appreciative he is to be playing the game of baseball. In so many ways, he’s just a regular kid who loves talking about little league games and hitting homeruns off his dad. There are a lot of people with talent out there, but they don’t hit 26 homeruns as a rookie, become MVP and lead their team to a World Series win after a more than 100-year drought. Kris is creating history right before our eyes and what sets him apart is his love of the game and mindset. Yes, there’s pressure he feels, but for him it’s fun and enjoyable and he believes he can accomplish great things. His expectation is far greater than anything anyone else can put on him and he’s only at the beginning of his career. We’re so proud to call Kris part of our family. He is the future of baseball.”
Although Bryant is still a young player in the MLB, he’s been doing his thing for years now. In just four consecutive years, Bryant became the first player in history to win College Player of the Year, Minor League Player of the Year, Rookie of the Year and National League MVP in successive seasons.
“At 23, Kris Bryant is an MVP and World Champion,” said Scott Boras, Bryant’s agent. “It was a privilege to work with adidas to create a historic agreement between two partners in excellence.”
