The classic Air Jordan 9 will be revived in one of its original colorways this Holiday 2016.

A timeless palette of black and white is utilized for its leather upper, while a hint of vibrance such as red adorning the tongue branding, Jumpman logo across the heel and more branding on the rear perfectly complements its respective theme.

Priced at $190, you buy a pair at select JB and Nike retailers starting Saturday, December 3.

Author’s Take

I?m not that really into the silhouette in a low-cut profile aside from the recent varsity red and navy/gum colorways, but, I like this style even more in this finish. I also like how leather is applied on the upper.

Would You Cop This Sample Colorway Of The Air Jordan 17

Does this colorway of the Air Jordan 17 look familiar to you? If it doesn’t then that’s because it’s a sample colorway that was created back in 2000 that was never released to the public.

This Air Jordan 17 Low features a grey leather and nubuck upper with red accents on the inner bootie and midsole. Grey laces, black branding, a chrome heel counter, and a white outsole complete the look on this Air Jordan 17 that will probably never see a retail release.

What are your thoughts on this colorway of the Air Jordan 17 Low? Would you cop of they ever released to the masses?

Author’s Take

I think this pair looks better than the Bulls colorway that released earlier this year. Would I actually buy it though? I’m not too sure I would.

Is This Upcoming Colorway Of The Air Jordan 5 Inspired By The Toronto Raptors

Air Jordan 5 1 Air Jordan 5 2

There’s a new colorway of the Air Jordan 5 releasing in grade school sizes, and this is one that I’m sure many guys won’t be too happy about.

This new Air Jordan 5 resembles the Raptors/True Red colorway of the Air Jordan 7 and comes with a Black nubuck upper as well as a black tongue. Purple then lands on the midsole and inner liner, while red accents on the midsole shark teeth and the Jumpman branding finish off the retro Raptors color scheme. The Air Jordan 5 GS Raptors is expected to release on September 17, 2016 for $140. Stay tuned to Kicks On Fire for updates.

A Raptors Colorway Of The Air Jordan 5 Is Coming

The Air Jordan 7 “Raptors” was as 90s a sneaker release as any. The shoe ditched traditional Chicago Bulls colorways to welcome the latest expansion franchise to the NBA in an unofficial way – but the combination of black, purple, and red throughout was undoubtedly an homage to the Canadian team if there ever was one. We haven’t seen the retro since 2012, but now Jordan Brand is hinting at the iconic colorway with this upcoming girl’s exclusive Air Jordan 5 Raptors slated to release this September.

The Air Jordan 5 Raptors is enough to make those in adult sizes jealous. A black upper matches the tongue while a vibrant purple lining and midsole work perfectly with Bright Crimson accents on the Jumpman branding and Mustang fighter jet inspired speckled shark teeth. A traditional semi-translucent mesh ventilation system hits the side panel and tongue as to not complicate things. What do you think of the Air Jordan 5 Raptors? Be sure to stay tuned for more of the latest Jordan release dates right here on Sneaker News.

KoF Live: Air Jordan 11 Low Metallic Gold (Closing Ceremony) Unboxing

I’ve been waiting a long time to own a pair of golden Air Jordan 11s. Ever since Ray Allen showed us what was possible with his golden 11s for both the Boston Celtics and Miami Heat – not to mention the Defining Moment Air Jordan 11 – I’ve held out hope for a retail release. And now we’re getting it in the form of the Air Jordan 11 Low Metallic Gold (Closing Ceremony). Does it have Olympic ties? Who knows? What really matters is that my sneaker dream shoe (well, one of the many sneaker dream shoes) is finally happening.

There are a few caveats with using the gold, however. Watch the video up top and you’ll know what I mean when I say, “maybe don’t buy this sight unseen online.”

As we get closer to the release, be sure you’ve bookmarked our Air Jordan 11 Low Metallic Gold (Closing Ceremony) launch page for all the breaking news, images, videos and links to buy when they go live.

Chris Pauls Air Jordan 11 Low Clippers PE That Never Was

Chris Paul‘s career still has a lot of ‘what ifs’ lingering in the background. What if his trade to the Los Angeles Lakers hadn’t been vetoed by the NBA for the infamous “basketball reasons” ruling? What if CP3 and Blake Griffin weren’t hurt for this year’s playoffs? What if Jordan Brand had released this Clippers-inspired Air Jordan 11 Low? Today we get a look at a rare Jordan 11 Low Chris Paul PE that never was, inspired by his current tenure with LA’s other team.

The Jordan 11 Low has been overhauled countless times in the past handful of years including this weekend’s “Closing Ceremony” release featuring premium metallic gold patent leather in honor of the Olympics. This Air Jordan 11 Low Chris Paul “Clippers” look doesn’t utilize no.3 PE branding or even show off CP3’s personal Jordan Brand logo. Instead, it relies heavily on shades of Varsity Red and Game Royal on the Cordura mesh upper and inner lining. A white patent leather mudguard adds a clean albeit surprising finish while a translucent outsole unit ditches any lingering icy additions.

What do you think of Chris Paul’s Air Jordan 11 Low? Check out more photos below and stay tuned for more Jordan release date updates right here on Sneaker News.

Following the release of the golden Air Jordan 5 last weekend, Jordan Brand will stay in the gold category this weekend as they’ll be giving us a new white/gold Air Jordan 11 Low.

Known as either the Closing Ceremony or Metallic Gold colorway, the fact of the matter is that this is white and gold Air Jordan 11 and people will go crazy over it. Of course it would have been nice if it were a Mid (that’s the reason I’m passing on it), but we can’t have our cake and eat it too, right? This Air Jordan 11 features a premium White leather upper with Metallic Gold landing on the patent leather mudguard as well as on the branding. Men and kids sizes will be arriving at retailers on August 27th (Saturday) for $170 and $130, respectively. Will you cop or pass? Let us know in the comments below.

The Upcoming Air Jordan 1 What The Will Be Known As The Top Three Colorway

New details have emerged on the potential Air Jordan 1 What The that has been rumored to release later this year.

It appears that the shoe will actually be known as the Air Jordan 1 Top Three and will consists of a combination of the OG Bred, Royal, and Chicago colorways. The significance of the “Top 3″ name also comes from Michael Jordan being drafted #3 overall back in the 1984 NBA Draft.

We also recently find out that according to Foot Locker Europe this mash up Air Jordan 1 is  currently scheduled to release on November 28, 2016. There is no US release date yet but it’s possible that it is the same as the European date. Stay tuned to Kicks On Fire for updates on the release of the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Top Three.

I’m not opposed to a What The themed Air Jordan 1 releasing, but I’m definitely curious to see what Jordan Brand comes up with. This could either be a huge success or a big failure.
