Jordan Brand recently opened their Jordan 8 Wellington store in Hong Kong, which instantly became Asia?s largest Jordan-only store. Said to offer a unique and creative approach to premium retail shopping, let’s take a closer look.

Jordan 8 Wellington provides several different members-only offerings that include things such as custom t-shorts and jerseys as well as a chance to pre-register to gain access to Jordan Brand product. They also have something called Jordan Flight Camp, which offers product education and training services. In addition there is also a wear-test area that allows visitors to try on selected sneakers against basketball drills and mover which are displayed on a digital wall.

Jordan 8 Wellington is also the first Asian Jordan store to adopt the brand?s new design concept, which originated at Chicago?s 32 South State Street store and which celebrates the legend of Michael Jordan through art installations and historical displays. Things such as the Jumpman centerpiece made by renowned artist Michael Lau connects the Jordan legacy to local culture. Additionally, you will also find a wall of sneakers consisting of the entire Air Jordan 1-30 Gold collection.

This Air Jordan 12 The Master continues the celebration of MJ?s soaring moments of greatness, while also consisting as one half of the brand’s “Poster” collection, which also includes the AJ 2.

Essentially deriving its classic theme from the label’s ad campaign which debuted in the late ’90s, the sneaker flaunts an understated makeup with black covering the majority of its premium leather upper. The subdued tone is continued towards its tongue and sole unit, while subtle contrasting hits of grey are evidenced on the miniature side panels, rear pull tabs, branding on the tongue, as well on the outsole.

A new Air Jordan 12 GS in Dynamic Pink, which is essentially a girls-exclusive variation of the silhouette, is suggested to coordinate with this year’s upcoming Valentine?s Day as well.

While the silhouette doesn?t quite correlate with the typical red/white theme, the sneaker?s defining vibrant hue is rendered slightly brighter than its traditional finish. Prominent along its forefoot, outsole, inner lining, tongue and pull tabs, a pristine white hue converges across its upper to cap off the eye-catching palette.

We all know about the upcoming release of the Air Jordan 9 Low Black / White that’s set to drop on April 16th, but we just got word that there may be more Air Jordan 9 Low releases on the way, starting off with this brand new colorway of the model. Today we take a first look at the Jordan 9 Low done up in a pretty bold look.

The low-top version of the Air Jordan 9 opts to come in a tonal colorway that’s covered in a red-ish/bright crimson colorway. Offsetting the monochromatic look on the upper are the black accents found on the tongue, laces and midsole branding of the shoe. Additional black hits are seen on the speckling of the red midsole, while yellow/gold hits are featured on the Jordan branding placed on the tongue and heel. Jordan Brand will be dishing out another Air Jordan 10 City Pack in 2016 that features four different colorways of Michael Jordan’s 10th signature sneaker.

So far we’ve only gotten good looks at the black-based NYC pair and the Chicago pair that you see above. You might be asking yourself what this color has to do with the city of Chicago since it’s not red, white and black like most other Chicago colorways. It turns out that this pair of Chicago 10s was inspired by the actual colors from the flag of Chicago. White leather covers the majority of the upper with University Blue and Bright Crimson detailing landing on the laces, tongue, eyestay, outsole, heel tab and branding. A black outsole wraps things up along with “CHI” written by the ankle in Bright Crimson and Black.
