A Detailed Look At The Air Jordan 4 Pinnacle Snakeskin
By SoleInsider
Jordan Brand‘s Pinnacle Series was as well-received as a basketball shoe retailing for $400 could be. That’s not a knock at the premium style of the numerous Air Jordan 1s featuring actual 24K gold accents either. Diehard fans flocked to releases like the Hender Scheme-esque Vachetta Tan leather installment. Now the Jumpman is translating the look onto a different silhouette with the Air Jordan 4 Pinnacle. Both a monochromatic black and navy croc-skin has made its way onto the upper in brief previews while this Air Jordan 4 “Snakeskin” outlier is the most luxurious to date. If the Air Jordan 1 Pinnacle told us anything, expect this premium synthetic snakeskin pair to demand a premium price point. Check out the best look at what was once considered only a sample below and we’ll keep you updated on a release date right here on Sneaker News.
Did You Catch Russell Westbrooks Air Jordan 30 PE Sneakers Last Night
By SoleInsider
Did you catch last night’s game between the Golden State Warriors and the Oklahoma City Thunder? If you happened to watch the game you were in for a treat as Stephen Curry once again proved why he will go down as one of the best shooters in the history of the NBA. Not only did he break his own record for most 3-pointers in a season, his game winning 3-pointed during overtime also tied the record for most 3-pointers in a game (12). Enough about Curry though, if you’re into sneakers as much as we are, you also probably noticed the shoes that were on Russell Westbrook’s feet, a never before seen version of an Air Jordan 30 PE. The shoe was done up in a black and white motif accented by the orange hits placed throughout the shoe including the Jumpman on the toe, laces and XXX branding on the heel. What did you think of Westbrook’s choice of footwear? Hot or not? Let us know in the comments below.
Just like with the Air Jordan 1, it looks like original colorways of the high-top Air Jordan 5 are now going to appear on the low-top version. You’ve seen “Royal”, “Bred”, “Chicago”, and “Shadow” on the Air Jordan 1 Low, and now it’s time for “Fire Red” on the Air Jordan 5 Low. The classic OG colorway that you know and love has dropped the top for this upcoming release, that you can look forward to hitting retail on March 12, 2016. Get a good look at the Air Jordan 5 “Fire Red” here, and if you just can’t wait until next month, pick up a pair on eBay right now.
Less Than A Week Before You Can Scoop Up The Air Jordan 2 Wing It
By SoleInsider
The Jordan Brand releases keep on coming and right before you know it you’ll be able to get your hands on a brand new retro. With the Air Jordan 12 The Master doing well (in terms of sales), the Air Jordan 2 Wing It looks to follow suit when it releases next weekend.
Also a part of the Air Jordan Retro Poster Collection, this Air Jordan 2 pays tribute to a Jordan Brand ad campaign that released at the same time as the first Air Jordan 2 did in 1986. The shoe comes in a white textured leather upper offset by the hits of black and dark grey placed all over the shoe. Without a doubt the most noticeable feature on the shoe is the “WING IT” branding placed on the heel of the shoe which is the same phrase found on the poster that shoe pays tribute to. Set to release March 5th for $190, is this a must cop?

Gio Gonzalez Of The Washinton Nationals Shows Off His Air Jordan 4 Bred PE Cleats
By SoleInsider
It’s not unusual to see someone wearing a fresh pair of Air Jordan 4 Breds, but what about seeing someone with a pair of Air Jordan 4 Bred baseball cleats? With Spring Training already in session, Gio Gonzalez of the Washinton Nationals decided to bring out a Jordan Player Exclusive pair to get ready for the upcoming season.
The Air Jordan 4 Bred PE cleats come dressed in a black leather upper paired up with red accents all over the shoe. A white midsole sort of gives the shoe an Air Jordan 11 Bred vibe, don’t you think? For all of you baseball players out there, would you play in these? Let us know in the comments below.
The Jordan Eclipse was the Jumpman’s answer to parent company Nike’s Roshe Run. The silhouette featured a simple yet sleek design complete with a bolstered breathable mesh while the outsole ditched any association to the Jordan signature line to differentiate itself from the likes of the Jordan Future and Jordan Horizon. By all accounts, Jordan Brand’s forray off the court and into the lifestyle market has been a successful one. Now the Eclipse is back with a grade school exclusive featuring the attention grabbing “Gamma Green” shade. The electric green wraps around the mesh upper while a “Cyber” green shade hits the lining for a unique twist. Rock City Kicks has the pair for you for only $85.

By SoleInsider
You’ve been seeing previews for months now, but the most luxurious Air Jordan 4 ever is finally about to drop. First seen on the Air Jordan 1, the ‘Pinnacle’ treatment is now handed over to the Air Jordan 4 silhouette for this impressive execution featuring reptile embossed leather and pony hair on the tonal black upper with a solid white outsole for contrast. Still need help deciding if the high price tag will be worth it to you? Get another look here, and keep in mind if you’re a size 9 you can grab a pair at #TeamEarly pricing right now from Stadium Goods.
Ever since December of last year, there’s been images surfacing suggesting that a premium version of the Air Jordan 4 was in the works. Last month, we got our first good look at what is currently being called the Air Jordan 4 PRM Snakeskin, and today we get a brand new set of pictures of the same shoe that once again suggests that this exotic version of the Air Jordan 4 is in fact going to release.
Said to be a part of a future Pinnacle collection, the new pictures show the shoe’s upper coming in a python upper composed out of snake-textured cream leather overlays. The tongue and lining of the shoe come in a cream colored leather, while the side panels (where the netting is usually placed) along with the lower part of the tongue come dressed using a perforated leather. Metal hits are placed on the eyelets and heel, while cream colored laced, embossed branding on the tongue and a white sole unit complete the look of the shoe. No release date yet. Are you looking forward to picking up a pair? Sound off down low.
I am not looking forward to picking up a pair. I like premium built sneakers, but not when they are as extravagant as the ones you see above. A little bit too over the top for me.

This Years Air Jordan 11 Space Jam Will Be The Epitome Of The OG Version
By SoleInsider
I know for a fact that the majority of us were hyped to hear that Jordan Brand is planning on releasing the Air Jordan 11 Space Jam this year. To many, the Air Jordan 11 Space Jam is considered their grails and they can’ wait to get their hands on a fresh new pair. Beginning yesterday, rumors began surfacing that this year’s Air Jordan 11 Space Jam will not look exactly like the version from the past. Earlier today, Twitter user @_PO2345 let the world know that this year’s version will happen to be the Jordan PE version.
What is the Jordan PE version? Well for those who may not know, the original Space Jam pair featured purple (concord) colored Jumpman branding on the shoe. So in reality, the original Air Jordan 11 Space Jam came with a purple Jumpman instead of a Royal Blue one.
If this ends up being the case, I’m curious to see how people are going to perceive this release. Will they like it more than the Royal pair? What do you think? Is this the “real” Air Jordan 11 Space Jam to you? Let us know in the comments below.
Expected to release sometime in December, be sure to check our Air Jordan 11 Space Jam hub page for all the up-to-the-minute news and info regarding this release.
Initially, I was a bit bothered that the Royal Blue Jumpman was replaced by the Purple one, but now that I’ve had time to think about it, it’s kind of cool that Jordan Brand is giving us the OG PE version of the shoe.
Pure Platinum Yeezy and Wu-Tang Clan Foamposites Are On The Way
First unveiled way back in 2014, the white version of the Air Jordan 12 OVO has been a shoe that many people have wanted, but Jordan Brand never pulled the trigger on. They’ve suddenly had a change of heart as @_PO2345 is reporting that the shoe you see above will be the next collaboration between Drake and Jordan Brand. Said to be releasing sometime in the Summer, we still don’t have a concrete release date for the shoe. Is this a must cop? Let us know in the comments below.
This one’s going to be a problem. Drake x Jordan Brand releases are always a hit, but this is by far my favorite collaboration between the two. Looking forward to this release.

It has already been a great year for the Air Jordan 2, with both the “Alternate” and Don C colorways being well-received among sneakerheads. Although the latter may have been difficult to cop, the latest colorway of the sneaker may be a good alternative if you are looking for that luxurious look at a cheaper price. Inspired by the famous “Wing It” poster, this release features a predominantly white upper, with black accents that provide an old-school look which perfectly embodies the feeling of the original poster. A faux-croc upper gives the sneaker an upscale look, which has been proven successful on the Don C collab. While this particular version may not officially release until March, it is available early right now via Stadium Goods.
The Air Jordan 4 Dunk From Above is set to be a part of the upcoming Jordan Brand Dunk From Above collection that also includes the Air Jordan 5 Low Dunk From Above. This collection is said to be inspired by Michael Jordan’s relentess ability to take flight, soar in the air and throw it down on his opponents.
Coming with a few features we’re not used to seeing on the Air Jordan 4, the shoe is constructed out of a navy blue leather upper offset by the bold hits of Gold Yellow placed on the lining, eyelets and Jordan branding placed on the tongue. Additional features on the shoe include the include the gum bottom outsole paired up with the white midsole. Additional white hits can be seen on the Jumpman on the heel as well as in the netting placed on the side panels and vamp of the shoe.
Juan Carrillo (News): As a die-hard Indiana Pacers fan, I’m really looking forward to this release. I just wished that Jordan Brand would have opted to used a tumbled leather for the upper. I’d like to say that this is a must cop, but I may just have to see them in person before I drop $190 on them.
Up Next For The Air Jordan XXX Is This University Blue Colorway
By SoleInsider
Previously believed to be a Marquette PE colorway, this new colorway of the Air Jordan XXX will actually be arriving at retailers.
Dubbed the University Blue colorway, this new Air Jordan XXX comes dressed in a combination of White, Black and University Blue. White can be seen covering most of the upper while Black makes an appearance on the tongue, inner liner, and ankle. Pops of color have then been added with University Blue detailing on the toe and the heel. A white midsole and icy blue translucent outsole wrap things up on the University Blue colorway of the Air Jordan XXX that is scheduled to release on March 5th for a retail price of $200.
The hits of University Blue make this colorway look too much like a college PE version. I don’t think this is a good colorway for Jordan Brand to release if their trying to make people like the silhouette.

Another Look At The Air Jordan 5 Low GS White/Metallic Silver
By SoleInsider
The Air Jordan 5 Low is on a roll this year as we’ve already seen a handful of colorways release for men as well as a special GS-exclusive pair that dropped during All Star Weekend.
You didn’t think that was it though, right? Nope. Jordan Brand has much more planned for the low-top version of the Air Jordan 5 in 2016 with one of the next colorways to release being this White and Wolf Grey pair that will also be exclusive to the smaller-footed crowd. This pair resembles the White/Metallic Silver pair that released last year with only a few minor differences.
Scheduled to release on March 26th, how many ladies plan on scooping up a pair?
So the ladies are pretty much getting the same release as last year but just making it a low-top instead of a mid? Not sure how they feel about it but I feel that these will sit on shelves for a long time.
Pure Platinum Yeezy and Wu-Tang Clan Foamposites Are On The Way
The Air Jordan 12 French Blue may not be an OG colorway, but many adore it more than classic iterations of the silhouette. Last seen in 2004, the popular finish is finally scheduled to receive its first retro treatment after twelve years, as the model celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2016.
Maintaining its distinctive palette overall, the silhouette is comprised of White tumbled leather, while French Blue overlays are prominent on its forefoot, outsole unit and rear portion. Metallic Silver accents provided by the top eyelets, Black Jumpman branding on the tongue and subtle Grey panels on the sides consist as notable contrasting elements.
Renz Ofiaza, News: One of my favorite colorways on the silhouette, aside from the Red/White iteration. There?s no doubt that these will be sought after heavily. It?s going to be a pair that I’ll consider purchasing for 2016.
Juan Carrillo, News: I?m not a huge fan of the 12s, but I?m real happy to see this colorway making a comeback after all these years. The white and blue work great on this shoe, which is what this may have to be my first 12 purchase, ever.
