The Air Jordan 8 Take Flight consists as the silhouette’s newest colorways and it’s scheduled to debut next week.

Exuding a militaristic vibe, the sneaker?s aesthetic is essentially inspired from bomber jackets and fighter planes, as well as the classic AJ 9 Olive. Nubuck, along with the addition of neoprene for the very first time, comprises the overall silhouette, which is draped in sequoia green.

Black and wolf grey accents adorn the rear mudguard, tongue and sole unit, while pops of max orange are seen on the chenille Jumpman-branded tongue patch, in addition to the graphic detailing on the outsole to cap off the design.

Sporting a premium build, white leather covers the majority of its upper that also bears a 3M reflective overlay which is activated when exposed to flash, while textured black leather is utilized for the mudguard and heel tab. Additionally, woodgrain detailing is prominent on the miniature branded side panels and its top two upper eyelets to further define its distinct aesthetic.

Furthermore, a distinguishable element is focalized at the tongue, bearing Chinese text of ????, which translates to ?20? ? in reference to the years that Jordan Brand has been in the Chinese market.

The Air Jordan 8 is coming back in a big way later this month in what could be one of the most popular non-original colorways of Michael Jordan’s famed dual-strapped signature model ever. Jordan Brand takes inspiration from Undefeated’s military-inspired Air Jordan 4 for the Air Jordan 8 “Take Flight”, as a military bomber inspired aesthetic features a premium Sequoia upper with contrasting accents of Max Orange and Black throughout. The Air Jordan 8 Sequoia will be available on January 28th for $190 USD and will also release in grade school sizes.

Remember the Air Jordan 1 Serena Williams PE that surfaced last week? If you liked what you saw then you’ll be happy to know that the sneaker will be getting a retail release.

Previously believed to be exclusive to Serena Williams, this colorway of the Air Jordan 1 features a full leather upper in a combination of Black and Hyper Pink. A White midsole along with Serena Williams’ logo on the tongue and heel complete the look on this pair of Jordan 1s for the ladies. Look for the Air Jordan 1 Serena Williams to release on February 11th 2017 for a retail price of $140.

Serena Williams is as dominant a force in the world of tennis as Michael Jordan was on the basketball court. Now Nike is pairing the two together with the upcoming Air Jordan 1 “Serena Williams” slated to release in grade school girl’s sizes on February 11th, 2017.

This isn’t the first time that a Nike athlete will be receiving the Air Jordan 1 as a PE of sorts released at retail, as a couple of years back Jordan Brand athletes like Russell Westbrook, Chris Paul, Carmelo Anthony, and Blake Griffin all received colorways with their signature logos on the tongue. This Air Jordan 1 Serena Williams takes a similar approach as Black and Hyper Pink come together for a standard color blocking with Serena’s logo raised on the heel and stitched onto the tongue. Similar to the AJ 9 Low which released this past June 2016, the Air Jordan 7 will be receiving a Pantone finish as well, and it’s expected to debut this Spring 2017.

Covered in a palette of university blue and white, this particular colorway may perhaps be a homage to MJ?s alma mater — University of North Carolina.

The defining tone essentially drapes what seems to be a nubuck-based upper, while a white Jumpman branding is evident on the ankle section. Finally, a full-length white sole unit finishes off the simplistic two-tone profile.

Priced at $190, this model is suggested to release at select JB and Nike retailers starting April 29th.

It looks like Jordan Brand is planning on releasing more than one colorway of the Air Jordan 5 Take Flight. We’ve gone over the Black/Sequoia pair and this right here has the 5th Jordan signature shoe rock a White and Gold motif.

As of right now, the Air Jordan 5 you see above is said to be the sample version, so there’s a good chance some kind of tweaking can be done on the shoe. For now, the shoe comes in a off-White leather upper complimented by the weave pattern on the paneling. Other features include the Flight lace lock, the the Gold colored lace tips and the Gold noted on the midsole. Below you will find a translucent outsole that has kind of an aged/yellow look to it. Embossed Jumpman branding on the tongue and heel give the shoe a clean look and feel. Pricing and release info will be announced in the near future.

The University of North Carolina’s Roy Williams now ranks among the most winningest coaches in college basketball history as Jordan Brand celebrated the Tar Heels coach and his 800th win with a special commemorative package.

Roy Williams has been coaching since the early 80s so the Jumpman went a little old school with the offering, just with a new school flair by dressing up the Air Jordan 1 Low Pinnacle with an autograph from fellow UNC legend Michael Jordan. The stained oak laser engraved box features the number 800 as the central feature of the commemorative box set while other details include Roy Williams’ highlights like eight trips to the NCAA Final Four, two National Championships, and his induction into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame.

Roy Williams currently ranks ninth in all-time NCAA Division 1 wins, but you can expect him to climb up the latter each year with the strength of the Tar Heels roster. Jordan Brand is also providing 800 t-shirts to UNC to be purchased with all proceeds going to UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center, a support Coach Williams has supported for quite some time.
