Kanye West Confirms The adidas Yeezy Boost 750 Grey Gum Sold Out In 1 Minute
By SoleInsider
If you weren’t guaranteed a pair via the confirmed app, your only chance to purchase the adidas Yeezy Boost 750 in its latest colorway this past weekend was to either try online or select retailers worldwide.
With Yeezy releases certainly magnified and difficult to attain, since the demand for the silhouette is high, the sneaker instantly sold out in one minute once listed for availability, as tweeted and confirmed by Kanye West.
Additionally, many users who tried to acquire a pair via adidas‘ checkout system expressed frustration, as the model was not marked ?Sold Out? for another two hours, and essentially providing false hope.
The women’s adidas PureBOOST X recently dropped a brand new colorway done in a bold print. Dubbed the Power Red, let’s take a look at this graphic heavy version of the PureBOOST X.
Coming in a Red and White colorway, the shoe’s upper comes with photo-realistic flower petals placed all over the shoe. The same two-toned color scheme is placed on the Boost midsole/rubber outsole. Ladies, if you’re looking for a comfortable Boost equipped sneaker with a bold aesthetic, don’t waste your time on picking up the adidas PureBOOST X Power Red. Retailing for $120, find these at your local adidas retailer.
Upcoming Colorways Of The adidas Crazylight Boost 2016
By SoleInsider
This Summer, expect to see a lot of adidas Crazylight Boost 2016 colorways to release. We’ve been getting scattered images/colorways here and there on the upcoming model, but today we get our best look yet. Looking to make the model one of adidas’ best basketball offerings, adidas is putting the shoe front and center by pairing it up with James Harden.
The colorways you see above make up a collection that goes by the name of “Harden Activated”. The four colorways are done in tonal fashion in a printed jacquard motif. You have the option of Red, White, Black and Grey to choose from. All four pairs come with a White Boost midsole paired up with a translucent tonal hit placed on the front portion of the sole unit. Three Stripes branding appears on the heel counter to complete the major features on the shoe. Set to release on July 2nd, let us know of you plan on picking up a pair.
adidas Originals Superstar Metal Toe Goes Iridescent
By SoleInsider
Two distinct features that have recently appeared on the adidas Originals Superstar have now teamed up to give the model yet another brand new look on the classic adidas model.
The women’s Superstar comes in a predominantly all-Black nubuck upper. The same hue is placed on the laces, branding and lining. Creating some sharp contrast is the metal construction placed on the shell toe. Not only does the shell toe come in metal fashion, but adidas also gives it an iridescent look to give the shoe more of a bolder aesthetics. Said to already be available internationally, we will let you know when these drop in the states.
Women’s version of not, I don’t know if I’d wear these. The metal toe/iridescent look is a bit too much on the shoe and doesn’t appear to mesh well with the rest of the shoe.
New Yorkers “Review” The Air Jordan 5 OG ’90 Black/Metallic Silver
If it’s an adidas silhouette complete with full-length Boost cushioning on the bottom, there’s going to be some interest. So goes the current trend in sneakers, where the technology holding down adidas Originals and performance models is one in the same. The adidas Pure Boost X is one of the latest silhouettes featuring performance tech with an aesthetic inspired by Yohji Yamamoto’s upscale adidas Y-3 line. This “Power Red” pair skips the simplicity for a dynamic graphic-heavy upper with photo-realistic flower petals found throughout. Get with us after the click for a full view of the latest adidas Boost offering and know that Rock City Kicks has this women’s exclusive in stock today for $120 USD.
Always the most prominent feature of the iconic adidas Superstar, there will definitely be no missing the shell toe on this latest “Metal Toe” version. The premium women’s edition of the Superstar features an all-black nubuck upper that gets some serious contrast for the shell toe, constructed with a vibrant iridescent metal for a bold and stylish look that makes the classic silhouette look anything but traditional. Lady Superstar fans can find the iridescent-toed colorway arriving at European shops now, and soon here in the US.
White And Navy Will Cover The adidas Originals 350
By SoleInsider
Aside from the adidas Originals 350 coming in the Black and White colorway, adidas will also be releasing a White and Navy Blue colorway. Looking to get a new adidas casual sneaker other than the Superstar and Stan Smith? This is definitely a shoe worth taking a look at.
The adidas 350 comes dressed in a premium leather upper done in an all-White colorway. The White upper comes with perforations on the toe to give it added breathability as well as it’s own look and feel. Gold trefoil branding appears on the heel and side panels, while the Navy Blue accented color can be seen on the Three Stripes and heel tab. A tonal textured tongue adds yet another dimension to the sleek looking shoe. Lastly, a White midsole and Gum herringbone outsole round out the look of the shoe. Releasing internationally, pick up this pair beginning June 16th.
Of the two pairs, this is the one that I like the most. If these were to drop in the states, I’d highly consider picking up a pair. I really like everything about this shoe.

The adidas Originals 350 Will Come In A Black And White Colorway
By SoleInsider
The adidas Originals 350 is a lifestyle creation that’s set to release next week. One of the colorways set to drop is the Black and White colorway you see above.
Opting to go for a classic look and feel. Familiar adidas Originals features appear on the shoe such as the classic trefoil aesthetics and the Gold foil branding. This particular colorway has the shoe come in a Black perforated leather upper accented by the White hits placed on the Three Stripes and heel tab. An off-White midsole and a gum herringbone outsole is placed below. If you take a look at the tongue you will notice that it comes with a textured feel to help differentiate it from the rest of the upper. How any of you remember the adidas Stan Smith Millenium? For those of you who happened to enjoy that adida release, I’m happy to announce that adidas has decided to bring back this remixed rendition of the Stan Smith.
The shoe makes its return by coming in the classic Running White and Marine colorway. Said to be a bold version of the classic Stan Smith model, the shoe comes in a White synthetic leather upper equipped with embossed and perforated Three Stripes branding. Adding some contrast to the shoe is the Marine Blue placed on the heel counter in order to mimic the color-blocking of the Stan Smith. An EVA midsole provides more than enough comfort. The model starts off with an all-White Primeknit upper. The clean aesthetic of the shoe is accented by the hits of Light Tan used on the X-shaped paneling. Buy, Pass, Wait: adidas Yeezy Boost 750, More NMDs, Air Jordan 9 Low Pantone
By SoleInsider
It’s Yeezy Season again with the release of the latest 750, but with a pair of Air Jordan lows, a trio of new Primeknit NMDs and much more, is it really all that important? Ok, I’m probably speaking for myself because Sneaker Twitter has been taking all sorts of Ls for the past few weeks trying to cop a pair of Yeezys, but I’m way more interested in everything that’s dropping this weekend, especially those fire Japan Black NMDs. See what we mean in this latest edition of Buy, Pass, Wait.
Juan Martinez, Editor-In-Chief: (PASS) 350 or nothing for me. The glow-in-the-dark is a fancy gimmick and totally works for the shoe, but I wonder what took them so long to do it. A glow-in-the-dark 350 would be pretty great though…
Renz Ofiaza, News: (PASS) I like this one more than the first pair just because of that gum tooling. Still, I’m not that inclined on this model since I like the 350s more. It’s a solid colorway though.
Juan Carrillo, News: (BUY) I know I said I would never buy a pair of Yeezys, but if I have a chance to get these for retail I will do so without hesitation and flip them in exchange for a couple sneakers I missed out on over the past couple of years. I would never wear the Uggs, but I’d definitely flip them.
Andres Carrillo, News: (PASS) Another Yeezy that people will go crazy over and I can’t really care less. This colorway looks too much like the original release except with a gum outsole. Shouldn’t adidas have released new colorways of the 350 since Summer is right around the corner?
New adidas NMD Primeknits (Pick One)
adidas
EIC Juan: (Japan Black) I have an irrational love for many things Japan, whether it’s Pachinko machines, J-Pop and the Sega Mega Drive, so an NMD with kanji on the EVA plugs are going to raise my eyebrows. Despite owning the original NMD, I would still cop this pair if I had an easy route (meaning no lines, no apps, no checkout problems).
adidas
Renz: (Solid Grey) You really can’t go wrong with a pair. This color combo is pretty versatile and stylish. I’m just a fan and pretty biased overall.
News Juan: (Solid Grey) Out of the Grey, Core Black and French Beige colorways, the one I’d pick up would probably be the Grey pair. I really like the striped look in the sock-like collar.
adidas
Andres: (French Beige) My favorite colorway from this release is the beige/white version. I still haven’t picked up a pair of NMDs and had no luck again this time around.
EIC Juan: (WAIT) I love this colorway and I’ll love it even more when the price drops to the $130-$140 range, where it should be in the first place.
Renz: (PASS) I would’ve liked it more in its original cut. This colorway isn’t for me, but it is pretty appealing. Easy pass.
News Juan: (PASS) I’ve never been a fan of this shade of Blue. The silhouette is cool in low-top fashion, but I wouldn’t pick it up in this colorway. I just see it as “another retro” dropping on a Saturday.
Andres: (PASS) What’s up with all of these crazy colors on low-top sneakers that nobody likes? I guess Jordan brand thought that since people like the Pantone 11s they would try it on the 9 Lows too. Bad idea.
Renz: (PASS) Just like the AJ 9 Low, I prefer this silhouette in its original form. In some colorways I would consider, although, this pair isn’t one of them. The makeup is still nice but I’m not tempted.
News Juan: (PASS) The same issue I had with the Air Jordan 9 Low Pantone, I have with this pair. This shade of Blue is not really my thing. The shoe will perhaps get some attention because of the “UNC” name, but I’ sure it will be another Jordan sitting on shelves.
Andres: (PASS) If these were the original Mids they maybe wold have been a little more popular, but I doubt it. I expect these to sit on shelves all year long. If the Air Jordan 2 Low Chicago is already being sold for $100, how much do you think this UNC colorway will get discounted?
Nike Kyrie 2 Kyrache
EIC Juan: (WAIT) Looks like you can cop a pair of the Kyraches just about anywhere and not have a problem doing so. Great for me because I can just wait for the first price drop or two to get it. Yup, even though the Kyries are relatively cheap, I don’t mind waiting because I’ll wear them long after they’re cool (if they ever were cool).
Renz: (BUY) I’m a fan of this silhouette in general and I think this is one of the best or better colorways on the model so far. The color execution to mimic the classic Air Flight Huarache was nicely done.
News Juan: (PASS) I like the theme of the shoe and how it was utilized on the model, but it’s just not a pair of Kyrie’s that I’d pick up. I’ve yet to pick up a pair of this model, but I can think of a few colorways I’d probably pick up over these.
Andres: (PASS) The inspiration behind this colorway of the Kyrie 2 is pretty cool, but I’m just not a fan of the colors that were used on the shoe. Maybe if was a fan of the Air Flight Huarache I would have liked these.

Author’s Take
I?m not a fan of Yeezys, but I think this colorway is better than the original because of the gum sole. I?m sure people will go crazy over these just like all other past Yeezys that have released.
