adidas Originals is heating up the summer with a brand new slate of adidas Ultra Boost Uncaged releases. The silhouette slims down the instant classic that was the adidas Ultra Boost, shedding weight by getting rid of the caged overlay with three stripe branding for a simplified look. The model takes what’s been working for the adidas NMD series – simple, no frills Primeknit design with a sock-like fit, and has that upper rest on a full-length Boost cushioning system for ultra comfort. 5 colorways will be releasing at retailers on June 28th for $225 ranging from two different grey mock-ups, a Scarlet Red option, a simple Black, and stand out Ray Red look. James Harden just completed his first NBA season as an adidas athlete. It’s only a matter of time before the Beard gets his own signature shoe, right? Although he was not selected to be a part of any of the All-NBA teams, Harden is still considered one of the best scorers the NBA has to offer.

While the signature sneaker line appears to be imminent, there is still no official word as to when it will happen. As of right now, expect Harden to wear the adidas Crazylight Boost Low 2016 James Harden PE for next season. Notable features on the shoe include the jacquard upper, the full-length Boost sole unit, the Continental rubber outsole, the Three Stripes branding on the TPU heel cup and the Harden branding on the tongue. No word yet on when these will drop, but expect them to do so sooner than later.

Adidas will be releasing a handful of colorways of the classic Gazelle silhouette this Summer. Tomorrow we’ll see the release of the Vintage Suede Pack that features two colorways of the retro silhouette dressed in suede uppers.

Also releasing in the near future is the Perforation Pack that you see above. Each pair from this Summer-inspired and breathable pack features a premium perforated nubuck all over the upper. All three colorways come equipped with contrasting white accents on the three stripes branding, tongue, heel, inner liner and rubber sole unit.

Just like Nike, adidas has just released their Pride Pack for 2016 to commemorate Pride Month. This colorful collection from adidas pays homage to the LGBT community and encourages equality and inclusiveness.

Consisting of the adidas Originals Superstar and the adidas Originals Stan Smith, every sneaker from this collection has been hit with rainbow detailing in one way or another. As you can see, both pairs of Superstars, one in black and one in white, come with rainbow paint splatter graphics on the midsole and side panels. The Stan Smith features rainbow detailing on the heel tab and on the Stan Smith logo as well as the branding on the heel.

All three pairs are available at select adidas retailers now for $100 each along with accompanying apparel.

adidas recently unveiled The Mercury Center — a three-day incubator for creativity in soccer.

Situated within the Barker Hangar at the Santa Monica Airport, The Mercury Center will be used to develop and exhibit several projects aimed at delivering firsts in the fields of technique and skill, design, style, technology, and entertainment.

Motion graphics artists have been appointed to create an unprecedented approach for playing and documenting the game, while special customizers featuring Chain Gang LA and The Shoe Surgeon will collaborate with attendees to make one-of-a-kind, personalized apparel and footwear, in addition to producing bespoke pieces.

Furthermore, a team of illustrators and designers will create custom pieces of apparel for the attendees with pens, patches, and screen-printing. Also, in conjunction with Guillermo Andrade of Four Two Four on Fairfax, custom jewelry pieces to celebrate this summer?s biggest moments and the players will be presented as well.

Additionally, Coupler MFG, will reimagine traditional soccer equipment and fabricate them onsite, while the Odd Division will utilize adidas? miCoach Smart Ball technology to develop a virtual reality experience.

Finally, Joe Kay, founder of Soulection, will create soundscapes and DJ sets in real-time.

The Mercury Center is open for select guests through June 3, with appearances from soccer stars, artists, musicians, and Los Angeles-based personalities.

A special viewing party for the United States vs. Colombia Copa America match will be held tomorrow night.
