The adidas Stan Smith Millenium Is Back
By SoleInsider
How any of you remember the adidas Stan Smith Millenium? For those of you who happened to enjoy that adida release, I’m happy to announce that adidas has decided to bring back this remixed rendition of the Stan Smith.
The shoe makes its return by coming in the classic Running White and Marine colorway. Said to be a bold version of the classic Stan Smith model, the shoe comes in a White synthetic leather upper equipped with embossed and perforated Three Stripes branding. Adding some contrast to the shoe is the Marine Blue placed on the heel counter in order to mimic the color-blocking of the Stan Smith. An EVA midsole provides more than enough comfort. Available now, pick up your very own pair for $60.
The adidas Tubular X Primeknit White/Tan Drops In The Fall
By SoleInsider
It’s been a while since the adidas Tubular X Primeknit model has dropped in a new colorway. Soon that’s about to change as the silhouette is set to release this brand new White and Tan offering.
The model starts off with an all-White Primeknit upper. The clean aesthetic of the shoe is accented by the hits of Light Tan used on the X-shaped paneling. Below you will find a two-toned Tubular sole coming in White and off-White translucent rubber placed on the heel portion of the sole. Said to be releasing sometime during the Fall, let us know if you plan on scooping up a pair later on during the year.
Buy, Pass, Wait: adidas Yeezy Boost 750, More NMDs, Air Jordan 9 Low Pantone
By SoleInsider
It’s Yeezy Season again with the release of the latest 750, but with a pair of Air Jordan lows, a trio of new Primeknit NMDs and much more, is it really all that important? Ok, I’m probably speaking for myself because Sneaker Twitter has been taking all sorts of Ls for the past few weeks trying to cop a pair of Yeezys, but I’m way more interested in everything that’s dropping this weekend, especially those fire Japan Black NMDs. See what we mean in this latest edition of Buy, Pass, Wait.
Juan Martinez, Editor-In-Chief: (PASS) 350 or nothing for me. The glow-in-the-dark is a fancy gimmick and totally works for the shoe, but I wonder what took them so long to do it. A glow-in-the-dark 350 would be pretty great though…
Renz Ofiaza, News: (PASS) I like this one more than the first pair just because of that gum tooling. Still, I’m not that inclined on this model since I like the 350s more. It’s a solid colorway though.
Juan Carrillo, News: (BUY) I know I said I would never buy a pair of Yeezys, but if I have a chance to get these for retail I will do so without hesitation and flip them in exchange for a couple sneakers I missed out on over the past couple of years. I would never wear the Uggs, but I’d definitely flip them.
Andres Carrillo, News: (PASS) Another Yeezy that people will go crazy over and I can’t really care less. This colorway looks too much like the original release except with a gum outsole. Shouldn’t adidas have released new colorways of the 350 since Summer is right around the corner?
New adidas NMD Primeknits (Pick One)
adidas
EIC Juan: (Japan Black) I have an irrational love for many things Japan, whether it’s Pachinko machines, J-Pop and the Sega Mega Drive, so an NMD with kanji on the EVA plugs are going to raise my eyebrows. Despite owning the original NMD, I would still cop this pair if I had an easy route (meaning no lines, no apps, no checkout problems).
adidas
Renz: (Solid Grey) You really can’t go wrong with a pair. This color combo is pretty versatile and stylish. I’m just a fan and pretty biased overall.
News Juan: (Solid Grey) Out of the Grey, Core Black and French Beige colorways, the one I’d pick up would probably be the Grey pair. I really like the striped look in the sock-like collar.
adidas
Andres: (French Beige) My favorite colorway from this release is the beige/white version. I still haven’t picked up a pair of NMDs and had no luck again this time around.
EIC Juan: (WAIT) I love this colorway and I’ll love it even more when the price drops to the $130-$140 range, where it should be in the first place.
Renz: (PASS) I would’ve liked it more in its original cut. This colorway isn’t for me, but it is pretty appealing. Easy pass.
News Juan: (PASS) I’ve never been a fan of this shade of Blue. The silhouette is cool in low-top fashion, but I wouldn’t pick it up in this colorway. I just see it as “another retro” dropping on a Saturday.
Andres: (PASS) What’s up with all of these crazy colors on low-top sneakers that nobody likes? I guess Jordan brand thought that since people like the Pantone 11s they would try it on the 9 Lows too. Bad idea.
Renz: (PASS) Just like the AJ 9 Low, I prefer this silhouette in its original form. In some colorways I would consider, although, this pair isn’t one of them. The makeup is still nice but I’m not tempted.
News Juan: (PASS) The same issue I had with the Air Jordan 9 Low Pantone, I have with this pair. This shade of Blue is not really my thing. The shoe will perhaps get some attention because of the “UNC” name, but I’ sure it will be another Jordan sitting on shelves.
Andres: (PASS) If these were the original Mids they maybe wold have been a little more popular, but I doubt it. I expect these to sit on shelves all year long. If the Air Jordan 2 Low Chicago is already being sold for $100, how much do you think this UNC colorway will get discounted?
Nike Kyrie 2 Kyrache
EIC Juan: (WAIT) Looks like you can cop a pair of the Kyraches just about anywhere and not have a problem doing so. Great for me because I can just wait for the first price drop or two to get it. Yup, even though the Kyries are relatively cheap, I don’t mind waiting because I’ll wear them long after they’re cool (if they ever were cool).
Renz: (BUY) I’m a fan of this silhouette in general and I think this is one of the best or better colorways on the model so far. The color execution to mimic the classic Air Flight Huarache was nicely done.
News Juan: (PASS) I like the theme of the shoe and how it was utilized on the model, but it’s just not a pair of Kyrie’s that I’d pick up. I’ve yet to pick up a pair of this model, but I can think of a few colorways I’d probably pick up over these.
Andres: (PASS) The inspiration behind this colorway of the Kyrie 2 is pretty cool, but I’m just not a fan of the colors that were used on the shoe. Maybe if was a fan of the Air Flight Huarache I would have liked these.

Author’s Take
I?m not a fan of Yeezys, but I think this colorway is better than the original because of the gum sole. I?m sure people will go crazy over these just like all other past Yeezys that have released.
