Next month adidas will be releasing a special trio of Ultra Boosts inspired by the upcoming 2016 Summer Olympic Games. The shoes will use the medals given out at the games as inspiration.

The first colorway that we take a look at today is the pair inspired by the 1st place gold medal. This Ultra Boost features a black Primeknit upper with gold detailing on the heel counter and the adidas branding on the tongue. Finishing things off is a white Boost midsole and black Continental rubber outsole.

There is no official release date yet but this Gold adidas Ultra Boost is scheduled to release some time in August. Stay tuned to Kicks On Fire for further updates.

Looking at the Equipment Racing Pure Boost wee see that it features a breathable mesh construction with suede overlays. What stands out the most is the signature cut-out toe box and vamp panels for that provide you with optimum ease of movement and ventilation. The shoe?s traditional ZX tooling is then switched out for Pure Boost, giving it that modern touch of comfort that many people have fallen in love with.

Previously offered in black/white, the adidas Tubular X Primeknit is introduced in another classic colorway, this time consisting of white/tan.

Essentially defined by its breathable upper construction, the component which flows towards an extended collar is dipped in the pristine tone. Light beige/tan suede overlays located on its side panels which also acts as a lacing apparatus, further complements the heavenly composition. Additional tan accents are seen on the tongue and pull tabs, while a white sole unit and translucent cream-colored heel (that may or may not glow-in-the-dark), finishes off the profile.

The Rio Olympics will be a major stepping stone for adidas, a brand that hasn’t had much to celebrate on the big international sporting event. In London, the Olympics were absolutely dominated by Nike with the advent of Flyknit, those snazzy reflective jackets, and all the footwear that surrounding the Olympic basketball team, but the landscape of sportswear has changed dramatically so much that adidas is the one getting all the eyeballs. For the upcoming Games, adidas has a trio of the Ultra Boost running shoe inspired by the gold, silver, and bronze medals. Each version is made distinct by a colored heel-cage and distinct Primeknit uppers. Release dates haven’t been set just yet, but you can certainly expect these in the coming weeks as the Rio Games approach.

New detailed imagery of the upcoming Slam Jam x adidas Tubular Nova is unveiled, as the model is a modernized take under the brand?s premium Consortium line — renowned for collaborations.

The Italian retailer essentially retains the sneaker’s recognizable profile and simply updated its construction with a traditional muslin and premium leather upper for modern appeal. Additionally, the model receives slight distressing around the front panelling and creasing to the leather at the tip of the tongue to exude a vintage vibe. Another notable detail includes large branding of the Italian retailer respectively located on the elastic band across its rear.

If you don’t feel like Cam’ron and the all-Pink colorway on the adidas EQT Running Support 93 wasn’t really your thing, than this all-White version will probably do the trick.

Just like the Pink iteration, this all-White version of the EQT runner also comes constructed out of a breathable mesh upper accompanied by the suede overlays. In addition to the suede and mesh, nylon is used to create the Three Stripes branding on the sides. Tonal branding appears on the heel and tongue, while a TPU heel overlay and a rubber sole unit complete the look of the shoe. When it comes to the adidas Ultra Boost, all of the attention this week was centered around the Ultra Boost Uncaged which finally made its debut. Despite the new look, lots of people (including myself) still prefer the original caged version.

If you’re one of those people then this one is for you. A new Collegiate Navy colorway of the adidas Ultra Boost will be releasing later this Summer. As you can see in the images above this new Ultra Boost features dark blue all over the upper with a slight gradient on the toe like we’ve seen on lots of other recent colorways. Blue also lands on the laces and heel counter while a white Boost midsole and black Continental rubber outsole finish things off.

There is no exact release date at the moment, but this Collegiate Navy Ultra Boost is scheduled to release some time in August.
