The adidas Ultra Boost White Reflective Pack consists of the classic adidas Ultra Boost and the adidas Ultra Boost Uncaged. Both models are done in all-White boldly accented by the reflective hits found all around. Yeah. we’re pretty sure these are going to be highly coveted. Want a pair? You won’t have to wait that much longer to try to get your hands on either pair.
We just got word that both models from the adidas Ultra Boost White Reflective Pack are set to drop stateside as well as in Asia on October 26th. Both models rock the all-White look as White Primeknit uppers sit on top of White Boost soles, accented by even more white found on the cages and heel counters and laces. Are these a must cop? Be sure to secure either pair on October 26th.
Taking a look at the latest Stan Smith above, we see that it features a traditional leather upper with perforation detailing on the three stripes branding on the side panels. What makes this pair stand out is the Fall-inspired floral canvas detailing that has been placed on the heel tab and inner liner. Tonal laces, a navy Stan Smith logo on the tongue, and a white rubber midsole wrap up the look on this pair of Stan Smiths.
This colorway is available at select adidas retailers now in women’s sizes for $85.
The Fall-inspired floral detailing on the heel and inner liner is a nice subtle touch. Adidas definitely should have made these in men’s sizes as well.
KoF Live: The Sights And Sounds From The adidas Harden Vol. 1 Launch
By SoleInsider
A few years ago, I asked James Harden what it would mean for him to get a signature shoe after years of hard work and evolving into one of the game’s premiere players. This is what he said at the time:
“That would be a honor, you know? As a kid you grew up dreaming of having your own shoe and hopefully for the next year or two, that’s an option. I have to step up my game to a higher level on the basketball court and the better I do there, the more likely you are to put yourself in situations where those opportunities come.”
It’s safe to say that his game is at a higher level now. Fast forward to this past weekend and we’ve got Harden launching his first signature shoe, the adidas Harden Vol. 1 and he could not be any happier. The big difference between then and now? The brand he was wearing. He took the chance to move over to the three stripes and now they have all but officially blessed him as the new face of adidas Basketball.
As you might expect from a signature shoe launch of this magnitude, we not only got Harden, but we also watched a fashion show, a concert featuring Young Thug (Or was it Slim? Yes, I made that dad joke several times throughout the weekend…) and Travis Scott along with cameos from everybody including Harden’s Houston teammates Patrick Beverley, Corey Brewer, Ryan Anderson, his GM Daryl Morey (aka Dork Elvis) and the one and only Ashanti. If she trended for a brief moment in H-Town on Saturday, it was because of us…
Fair or not, James and adidas got roasted by the internet when weartest samples of the Harden Vol. 1 (yes, it really is called Vol. 1) leaked. As we have seen with other stars like Stephen Curry and LeBron James, it can be tough to withstand the flood of jokes and memes that start to dominate our timelines. There are some shoes that can survive the storm, but more often than not, they show up DOA at stores, damaged by the savagery of the Sneaker Twitter. If what we saw of the Harden Vol.1 is any indication of what to expect in the future, I don’t think they have to worry about the latter.
The duality of the shoe – meaning the leather toe shroud and the knit/mesh upper – creates for an interesting contrast that should work well in future colorways. The Pioneer colorway that we received is an obvious choice for the debut release as black, white and red is so ingrained in our consciousness. But what I’m really excited for is the future when we start to see adidas get real creative with their choices, such as when they chose to feature the Gila Monster colorway at the event.
Back in the summertime, we saw the direction that adidas Basketball was headed in when they put Harden, Damian Lillard, Derrick Rose and Andrew Wiggins together in Las Vegas. They are young, hungry and moving forward. They want their shoes to be beasts on the court and stars off it. I skeptical of the Crazylight 2016 and Crazy Explosive but they have really taken off in the past few months. I don’t have the same doubts about Harden Vol. 1, especially when they have the guts to base a colorway off of this hoss…
The journey of the adidas Harden Vol. 1 begins December 3 with the launch of the Pioneer colorway for $140. Be sure to stay tuned to Kicks On Fire for all the latest information as it breaks.
Known as the adidas Harden Vol. 1, the shoe will be debuting at retailers in early December in the Pioneer colorway that you see above. The Harden Vol. 1 comes constructed out of a black knitted upper with a white leather overlay on the toe. Other details include the adidas three stripes branding on the heel, Harden’s logo on the tongue, a unique lacing system, and a full-length Boost midsole. This Pioneer colorway is inspired by Harden?s second-straight California state title in high school.
Look for the adidas Harden Vol. 1 Pioneer to release on December 3, 2016 for $140. Will you be grabbing a pair?

Author’s Take
I wasn’t sure really what to expect from James Harden’s first signature shoe with adidas. I don’t love it, but I also don’t hate it. I’d like to see these in person and actually try them on when they do release.

Travis Scott, Young Thug and More Help Debut the adidas Harden Vol. 1 in Houston
By SoleInsider
It was a big night for James Harden and adidas Basketball, as the two long-term partners officially unveiled the Harden Vol. 1 signature sneaker to the world at a special event in Houston, Texas. The town Harden hoops in was home to the lively afternoon, where adidas threw a party with invitees including select media from around the globe, James’ friends and family, and members of the local chapter of the Boys and Girls Club of America, who were all in attendance for a fashion show of the Harden Vol. 1 and accompanying apparel. The runway then doubled as a stage, when the crowd was surprised with performances from local legends Slim Thug and Z-Ro before Travis Scott and Young Thug also rocked the house.
See a full recap of the Harden Vol. 1 event earlier today here, and for much more information on James Harden’s debut signature shoe, visit our Sneaker News SELECT story.
It wasn?t the shot, but the contract heard around the world when adidas announced that they?d be signing James Harden to an unprecedented 13-year, $200 million deal to bring the dynamic Houston Rockets guard to the Three Stripes. A statement was made. Clearly, ?The Bearded One? was a player that adidas wanted on their team, and one that they were poised to position as the new face of their entire basketball program. A year and two months later from that August 2015 announcement, adidas and Harden are ready to prove just how serious their relationship is with the unveiling of his first signature shoe, the adidas Harden Vol. 1.
With that massive contract, Harden?s well-known distinct styles on and off the court, and other in-house factors to live up to like the current successes of the style-driven adidas YEEZY and NMD lines, you can imagine the pressure looming over the heads of the designers tasked to create Harden Vol. 1. But as you can see by the finished shoe, they had no problem dealing with the hype and high expectations. We recently sat down with Vice President of Basketball Design Brian Foresta and Basketball Product Manager Corey Allen?the leaders of the project who are both sporting very Harden-esque beards of their own?to discuss how they created the high-performance and high-style sneaker, and what it was like working with James from the first meeting to the impressive final product.
