adidas Dropped The Ultra Boost 3.0 Chinese New Year In Quickstrike Fashion Today

adidas surprised everyone with an end of year special by releasing one of the most sought after adidas Ultra Boost pairs of the year, even though they were expected to launch come January 2017, with the adidas Ultra Boost 3.0 Chinese New Year Quickstrike. The Multi-Color Primeknit option sold out in minutes on adidas.com and even released on a first come first serve basis at the new adidas 5th Avenue flagship and at adidas SoHo, proving that brands are still capable of major surprises today even with everyone keeping an ear to the ground and anticipating upcoming releases.

So were you lucky enough to grab a pair? All that we can do now is sit back and hope for an official re-stock of what was an incredibly limited run of the adidas Ultra Boost 3.0 “Chinese New Year” come 2017, but if you can’t wait until then, know that you can find your pair right now on eBay and on Stadium Goods.

The adidas Ultra Boost ATR Mid Primeknit Arrives In 2017

Introduced months earlier, the adidas Ultra Boost ATR, or essentially All-Terrain, is now featured in a new colorway and mid-top profile that is scheduled to release next year.

Revamped with a much sturdier and durable primeknit construction, in addition to receiving a water-resistant layer to help keep your feet dry against the elements — the composition, extended sock-like collar and TPU-reinforcing heel counter are all draped in tonal grey.

Completing the sleek and versatile design is a contrasting white boost sole unit and black rugged outsole.

Stay tuned to KicksOnFire for an official release date, which is set for early 2017.

adidas Ultra Boost 3.0 Oreo

January 1st is going to bring an onslaught of new adidas Ultra Boost colorways (more on that here) but we’re still getting previews on more upcoming Spring 2017 offerings featuring restructured Primeknit, transparent three stripe cage overlays, and a number of new patterns on the woven upper for good measure. Today we get a preview of the upcoming adidas Ultra Boost 3.0 “Oreo”, a pair that boasts the perfect combination of a light grey upper with black stripes throughout to match the striped laces for a unique take on the instant classic running model.

The adidas Ultra Boost 3.0 Oreo manages to keep the traditional black heel panels intact with chrome ‘Ultra Boost’ branding but a detail that should stand out on this pair is the lack of color in the translucent three stripe cage overlay. The lack of depth manages to contrast the striped upper throughout for a head-turning look perfect for any occasion. What do you think of the adidas Ultra Boost 3.0 Oreo? Check out more detailed images below and stay tuned for a Release Date sometime in early 2017.

The adidas ACE 16+ PureControl Ultra Boost Triple Black Debuts Next Year

Last offered in grey camo and black/red, the newly-introduced adidas Ace 16+ PureControl Ultra Boost is previewed in another forthcoming colorway, this time draped in the ubiquitous triple black color scheme.

The soccer boot/sneaker hybrid has certainly been quite difficult to attain due to its limited production. Defined by its breathable primeknit upper and boost sole unit — all of which is covered in black — the laceless design is also detailed with an extended collar, TPU reinforcing heel counter and enlarged three stripe branding gracing the side panels.

With its suggested retail price listed at $200, this pair is scheduled to debut at select adidas retailers starting Spring 2017.

A Closer Look At The adidas Ultra Boost ATR Mid Primeknit

The adidas Ultra Boost officially went to the mid-cut heights, with Ronnie Fieg’s “Aspen” collaboration introducing the revised silhouette to the masses. This version you see here is the adidas Ultra Boost ATR Mid Primeknit, which features a higher ankle collar and the Ultra Boost 3.0 Primeknit ribbing on the upper. ATR, which signifies All-Terrain, suggests that the shoes are built for outdoor use, which is additionally made evident by the bulkier rubber outsole. A release date hasn’t been confirmed just yet, but expect the Ultra Boost ATR Mid PK to release early in 2017.

The adidas Originals Stan Smith Adds Bold Hits To Its Classic White Upper

All-White with a little bit of bold. That’s one way to describe these brand new colorways of the Stan Smith. Christmas may be over and done with, but that doesn’t mean you can no longer be in the holiday spirit. One way to keep that feeling going is by rocking either of these pairs of the adidas Originals Stan Smith.

Opting to keep things fairly simple and minimal, these adidas Stan Smiths are done in White leather uppers with matching White laces sitting on top of an off-White double-stacked sole unit. The shoe gets its pop by way of the bold Red or Green hits noted on the tongue and heel. It’s a nice little bold touch to an otherwise fairly simple rendition of the Stan Smith. Available internationally, look for these to drop stateside any day now.

Dak Prescott Wears The adidas Yeezy 750 Cleat On Monday Night Football

A day after Von Miller debuted the new black/charcoal colorway, Dak Prescott of the Dallas Cowboys actually played in the original white/cream pair of the adidas Yeezy 750 Cleat on Monday Night Football.

Considered by many the best rookie in the NFL this year, along with teammate Ezekiel Elliot, this is the first time that a player wears the Yeezy 750 Cleat to play in the actual game as opposed to wearing them during pregame warmups.

Check out a few action shots above of Prescott rocking the cleats against the Lions. Do you like the 750 cleats better than the 350s?
