Long before Pharrell celebrated the Human Race with the adidas NMD, he was reminiscing about Parisian adventures with the Stan Smith. The Jacquard print, which first debuted on the Stans and track jacket in 2014, is inspired by Pharrell’s trip to the renowned Marché Saint Pierre fabric boutique. adidas is planning to revive this stylish look on the Stan Smith Mid as well as on a backpack for surprise release this week. Today, they unveil their first-ever collaboration with adidas with an insane underwater photoshoot featuring the Ultra Boost, Samba, and two models Barbara Egholm & Emilie Lilja who are as buoyant as they are beautiful. The aqua-tone color palette of the shoes are a nod to NAKED’s signature color as well as the vast ocean around them, resulting in one of the finest adidas Ultra Boost colorways yet.

The NAKED x adidas Ultra Boost and Samba will release this Friday, December 16th exclusively at NAKED in-store and online. A global release at select shops will follow exactly a week later on December 23rd.

Well, you can’t say that James Harden lacks confidence. As the face of not only his own signature shoe with adidas, but the leading face of the entire brand (non-Yeezy division), Harden is in the process of building an empire within the three stripes. We have been covering Harden’s arrival to adidas for some time now, but the first real chance the people will get to see, feel and wear that ascension is with the adidas Harden Vol. 1 Pioneer colorway that launched this past weekend.

Harden describes his shoe as not only something you can wear on and off the court but also one of the catalysts for the mind-boggling statistics he’s putting up this year for the Houston Rockets. The adidas Harden Vol. 1 has the chance to be something special for not only Harden and adidas, but the basketball sneaker community in general, which has been itching for something new and fresh (the two haven’t intersected for quite some time).

With the rare off weekend during the NBA season, Harden flew to Los Angeles to celebrate the launch of his shoe in style, traveling to various hot spots where fans were there to meet and greet the All-Star. We spoke with Harden at the Foot Locker in Santa Monica to get his thoughts on the world finally getting to see his… well, in his words, masterpiece. Told you he was confident…

When it comes to the debut of the adidas Harden Vol.1, adidas was all in! The first James Harden signature with adidas made its debut yesterday and throughout the country adidas held events celebrating and promoting the Harden Vol.1 (and apparel line).

Events included James Harden and adidas working with local artists, musicians, high school athetes and sneakerheads in various locations including Atlanta, New York and Los Angeles to create three unique Harden Vol.1 events/parties that helps introduce the release of the shoe to the public. If you happened to be in attendance, you had the chance to things such as test the Harden Vol. 1, customize apparel and even enjoy performances by some of James’ favorite artists and DJs.

Here is a quick breakdown of what happened in every city:

Los Angeles: James was in attendance and surprised fans at the adidas Santa Monica store and Foot Locker 3rd Street Promenade. He took pictures with fans and even picked up the tab for a few sneakerheads who were waiting to get Harden Vol. 1. James. He then went to Nice Kicks for a West Coast style block party with food, hoops, custom art by @thankyoux and performances by DJ E-Rock, DJ Justin Credible and  DJ Mustard.

New York: Fans in attendance were treated to a performance Jeezy as well as art by @askewone at the adidas x Foot Locker Harden Vol. 1 launch party at NYC33.

Atlanta: Wheeler High School hosted their Harden Vol. 1 celebration with @occasionalsuperstar designing Harden-themed art posters and DJ Esco playing for thousands of high school basketball players.

Have you seen the adidas Tubular Shadow yet? The sleek, low top runner is one of the three stripes’ newest silhouettes and it looks like its gonna be a hit.

Having a similar look to the extremely popular Yeezy Boost 350, this version of the Tubular Shadow comes equipped with a knit upper in black with sublte hits of white on the underlay. Additional black detailing has been added on the laces, tongue tag, and inner liner. A white trefoil logo on the tongue and a white Tubular sole complete the look. The best part about the Tubular Shadow is that it’ll only cost you $100. Not bad if you can’t get your hands on a pair of Yeezys.

A couple of adidas Ultra Boost 3.0 colorways dropped over the weekend, but expect many many more options to drop in the coming months. One of those colorway set to drop in a couple months is the adidas Ultra Boost 3.0 Energy.

The official images of the adidas Ultra Boost 3.0 Energy shows that the cage and Primeknit upper is done in a Red hue with hits of Black sprinkled on the woven knit and the heel counter provide some nice contrast. Two-toned laces, a White Boost midsole and Black Continental rubber outsole complete the look of the shoe. No official release date just yet, but expect these to drop sometime during February of 2017 for $180.

Having some similarities to past silhouettes like the Gazelle and Samoa, that’s where the name “Flashback” comes from.
