Sneaker Politics is celebrating the opening of their new New Orleans store location with a Mardi Gras-themed collaboration with adidas Consortium atop the freshly minted adidas Gazelle Primeknit silhouette. For an entire two weeks, people the world over flock to New Orleans to celebrate the carnival known as Mardi Gras signalling the start of Lent.

The colorful occasion is referenced throughout the new woven upper on the classic Gazelle model through signature krewe colors of purple (for justice), green (for faith), and gold (for power). Each is featured throughout the interwoven style while a cream base and premium suede touches create a luxurious offering perfect for any occasion. The Primeknit even gets a new fleece-backed construction to pair with the classic gum outsole.

The Sneaker Politics x adidas Consortium Gazelle Primeknit will release at all three Louisianna locations and online at sneakerpolitics.com on Saturday, February 18th, 2017 for $140 USD. More detailed photos below.

Following duck camo variations, the adidas Tubular Invader Strap is revealed in another new neutral theme, this time consisting of trace cargo.

While the silhouette evokes a budget variation of the popular Yeezy Boost 750 with its distinctive strap on the mid-foot, the sneaker dons a premium build with the defining tone essentially covering the majority of its suede upper.

In addition, the heel section and signature three stripe motif on its side panels are rendered in beige croc-skin to exude more luxe appeal, as well as perfectly complementing its aesthetic. Finally, a branded heel strap and full-length translucent rubber sole unit finishes off the design.

Select adidas retailers overseas have this pair available now, although, a stateside release is imminent.

The adidas Ultra Boost Uncaged will continue to receive a plethora of colorways this year, as the forthcoming pair in line consists of this solid grey edition.

Flaunting a mixture of grey and black tones across its signature primeknit upper, laces and distinctive ribbed collar — the focal point is directed at its boost midsole unit, as it now bears a shimmering metallic silver finish, unlike its traditional all-white rendition.

A dark grey TPU heel overlay and black continental rubber outsole further solidifies its overall subdued makeup, while other notable details include purple insoles, as well as yellow/purple lace tips.

Select adidas retailers overseas have this pair releasing on Thursday, February 16th.

Offered in adult ($220) and infant ($140) sizing, the silhouette boasts a blacked-out primeknit construction which features the notable striped detailing on its side panels, although camouflaged. The distinctive ?SPLY-350? branding in solar red pronounces the profile, while it’s topped off with heel tabs and a semi-translucent rubber outsole with TPU sidewalls to create a striking effect while providing superior traction.

Noted to be extremely limited, worldwide availability at select adidas retailers is scheduled for Saturday, February 11th.

Joining the Trace Green colorway we recently went over, today we take a look at the brand new adidas EQT Support RF in Solid Grey.

Just like the Trace Green pair, this adidas EQT Support RF comes constructed out of a mesh and suede upper which in return manages to keep the original mode’s aesthetic. Hits of leather found throughout help give the shoe a bit more of a premium feel. Additional features on the shoe include the the classic trefoil branding on the tongue, the Three Stripes branding on the side panels and the full-length White sole which also happens to come with the extended Three Stripes branding. Just like the Trace Green pair, this Solid Grey is currently available at select adidas retailers overseas with a stateside release being imminent. Thoughts on this model?

The adidas Superstar Boost will finally be making its debut tomorrow. One of the new model’s inaugural colorways is the Black and White pair you see above. Let’s get a closer look including some on-feet images.

Two features on the shoe stand out the most to me. The first being the premium elk leather done in Black while being contrasted by the White hits on the heel tab and Three Stripes branding. Of course, the main feature has got to be the concealed full-length Boost placed on the sole. Most of the OG sole’s outer shell remains intact, but the Boost does make an appearance on the medial side of the shoe. Love the Superstar? Wish it was more comfy? Your wish has been granted! The adidas Superstar Boost manages to keep the classics aesthetics of the model while at the same time making it the most comfortable version of the shoe. For the most part, the adidas Ultra Boost is perceived as a comfortable casual looking shoe. Not many of us recognize it as a premium or luxurious pair of sneakers. JBF Customs looks to switch it up a bit by creating the adidas Ultra Boost Missoni Custom.

This Ultra Boost custom ditches the Primeknit upper in favor of a Missoni Pillow and Veg Tan leather construction. Dope features on the shoe include the leather heel counter, leather lining, leather cage, custom piping and the hand painted stripes . JBF branding on the tongue, a set of matching leather laces and the original Boost sole unit complete this custom. Today we get our first look at what is believed to be the Kith x Naked x adidas NMD City Sock 2.

Presumably part of the adidas Sneaker Exchange Program, Kith out of New York and Naked out of Denmark have come together to work on the adidas NMD City Sock 2, which hasn’t even officially debuted yet. The shoe features a tan Primeknit upper with Naked and Kith branding on the heel tabs and a white Boost midsole.

No release information is available yet but stay tuned to Kicks On Fire for release updates.
