adidas ACE 16+ Ultra Boost Royal

We still haven’t gotten a true and through general release of a mid-top Ultra Boost, but the three stripes have teased us with limited edition offerings like Ronnie Fieg’s “Aspen” creation and the soccer-inspired adidas ACE 16+ Ultra Boost, just without a three stripe overlay cage as the sleek design opts for a sock-like fit around the ankle collar instead.

The adidas ACE 16+ Ultra Boost Royal is the latest colorway to turn heads, as the heel support gets a pearlescent royal shade to match the Primeknit throughout. The bold three stripe side panel has usually been hit or miss for this silhouette, but when the enlarged branding matches the overall shade of the Primeknit throughout, the Ace 16+ Ultra Boost manages to be simple enough to be the perfect rival to Nike’s ongoing Magista series.

What do you think of the latest adidas ACE 16+ Ultra Boost Royal colorway? Check out more detailed shots below and we’ll keep you updated on when this pair is available via adidas.com in the near future right here on Sneaker News.

Look Out For The adidas Ace 16+ PureControl Ultra Boost In Blue

Following its initial reveal, official imagery of this adidas Ace 16+ PureControl Ultra Boost in blue is now provided, as it’s expected to make its debut soon.

The soccer boot/sneaker hybrid is defined by its breathable primeknit upper and boost sole unit, and the laceless design is also detailed with an extended collar and enlarged three stripe branding gracing the side panels — all of which are draped in the vivid blue tone.

It’s worth noting that this silhouette has been quite difficult to attain due to its limited production, and the production of this pair is suggested to be extremely limited as well.

Stay tuned to KicksOnFire for its availability.
