adidas will be welcoming a new member to the Boost family this upcoming Friday as we’ll be seeing the release of the adidas Ultra Boost Laceless. First we saw the release of the OG Ultra Boost which took the world by storm which was then followed up by the Ultra Boost Uncaged. Now we see adidas get rid of both the cage AND the laces to create the first laceless high-performance running shoe.
The designers at adidas used Aramis technology to construct a minimalistic and stylish upper that contours the foot, leaving the runner feeling unstrained, unlaced and free to create. The Ultra Boost Laceless is designed with a new Primeknit upper which has a sock-like fit and collar construction design which delivers a seamless fit and allows the foot to move in harmony with the upper, as one single unit. As you can see, the laces have been eliminated and replaced with a forged Primeknit band around the midfoot to provide support and lockdown, with expansion zones in the forefoot. Combine the new and improved Primeknit upper with adidas’ energy-returning Boost midsole and you have yourself the most intuitive Ultra Boost yet.
Get a detailed look at the Triple White pair above that was sent to us by the good people over at adidas. This Triple White pair along with the Core Black/Orange and Core Black/White colorways will release on Friday, September 1st for $200 each. Which pair(s) do you plan on going after?
