Adidas made quite a splash in the NFL this year as a few of their athletes debuted the Yeezy 350 Cleat and Yeezy 750 Cleat. But the fun won’t stop in the regular season, it’ll continue in the playoffs.

Jimmy Graham of the Seattle Seahawks is gearing up for his playoff matchup this weekend against the Detroit Lions and he may be wearing this new grey colorway of the adidas Yeezy 750 Cleat. Graham posted this picture on his social media of a grey suede Yeezy 750 Cleat with a black cleated sole making them ready for the field. Look for a handful of adidas athletes to possibly be wearing Yeezy cleats throughout the NFL postseason.

The adidas EQT Support ADV was one of adidas’ new silhouettes that they introduced in 2016 (personally one of my favorites) which released in a handful of colorways. So how will they make it better in 2017? Simple, by adding a Primeknit upper.

Already having taken a look at a white/black colorway, today we get a glimpse at another new color option with this black/white pair. As advertised, this revamped version of the EQT Support ADV replaces the original mesh upper with a new lighter and more breathable Primeknit. Other details include ribbon three stripes branding on the side panels, a white sole unit, and a splash of Turbo Red on the heel.

The adidas NMD City Sock, which debuted in 2016, will be getting a sequel in 2017 with the release of the NMD City Sock 2.

Today we take a first look at the shoe which features the same slip-on mid/high top construction along with the familiar Primeknit upper. This colorway seen above features a navy on the majority of the upper with a circular pattern overlay done in white on the midfoot. Other details include leather heel pull tabs and a contrasting white sole unit.

LGBT Pride Month will be taking place in June and it appears that adidas will once again be supporting the movement for equality among all genders.

Seen above is a first look at the adidas Ultra Boost 3.0 LGBT which features a blacked out Primeknit upper with a matching side panel cage overlay. The LGBT connection is made on the heel counter which features a rainbow gradient pattern. Other details include a white Boost midsole and blacked out Continental rubber outsole.

It’s January, and that means the annual barrage of Chinese New Year themed kicks are beginning to hit the shelves. By now you’ve seen Jordan Brand’s offerings, and adidas impressed with the colorful Chinese New Year Ultra Boost. It looks like that isn’t all the Three Stripes have up their sleeves for The Year of the Rooster, as today images have surfaced of an upcoming EQT Support 96/16 in its own festive makeover.

The shoe that combines the upper of the classic EQT Support 93 with the comfort of the Ultra Boost sole is featured with a creamy off-white tonal upper with the TPU support shank in green, while special graphic insoles and a rooster hangtag are added to celebrate the Chinese New Year. It appears that at least select pairs will be contained in a special wooden box. No exact release date has been announced yet, so stay tuned to Sneaker News for further updates.

adidas smartly brought back their retro adidas Equipment lineup a few years back featuring the coveted ribbon branding on the side panel and those dynamic colorways that featured an array of vibrant shades that perfectly encapsulated 90s style with functional tech. The three stripes followed this move by updating one of the more popular adidas EQT models with a sleek modernized design in the adidas EQT ADV Support. That silhouette received a number of notable colorways and an incredibly limited run at Miami’s Art Basel. Now adidas has more in store for the EQT ADV Support with the addition of their woven Primeknit material throughout the upper.

The adidas EQT ADV Support Primeknit boasts a woven slip-on design with an array of stripes adding a texturized aesthetic to a black base. The ribbon three stripe branding and ‘EQT’ branding remain while a vibrant dash of ‘Turbo Red’ hits the heel for an added energetic splash. Big sportswear brands continue to stand up for the LGBT community through special edition releases. We’ve seen Nike do so through their ongoing “Be True” releases featuring rainbow colored accents on some of their more relevant models, and adidas even joined the effort with their popular adidas Stan Smith and adidas Superstar retro silhouettes featuring rainbow paint speckles with a portion of proceeds going to benefit New Avenues for Youth. The three stripes will continue that effort with an upcoming adidas Ultra Boost LGBT slated to release in May 2017 to help usher in LGBT Pride Month come June. The adidas Ultra Boost LGBT features that 3.0 updated Primeknit in black to match the three stripe cage overlay while the heel support gets a unique rainbow pattern. Up next for the unique looking adidas Springblade Solyce is this Triple Black offering that results in a monochromatic finish on the shoe. The adidas Springblade Solyce is constructed out of both mesh and synthetic materials to help give the shoe its one of a kind look. The shoe’s most notable feature (apart from the outsole) is the speed lace construction that end up complimenting the tuned blades on the outsole very nicely. The tuned blades are utilized on the shoe to help compress and release energy while propelling you forward with every step. Fans of the adidas NMD were treated to another lifestyle offering featuring even more Primeknit than its performance-inspired counterpart in the adidas NMD City Sock. The sleek futuristic style featured bold international-themed branding, occasional wool uppers, the head-turning NMD midsole bumpers and more and proved that adidas Originals had tapped into something special with the NMD silhouettes.

Today we get a first look at the coming sequel in the adidas NMD City Sock 2. The midsole features the same sleek design as the adidas NMD R2 while the Primeknit design features additional stripes in a circular pattern for a unique twist. This particular offering showcases a premium navy and white colorway with leather heel tabs in a natural brown shade. The adidas Yeezy Boost 350 v2 is expected to release in four new colorways this year, and it may perhaps receive a fifth variation with this particular pair.

Courtesy of reliable source @sneakerprophet, the silhouette seems to be detailed with a Zebra-like pattern to distinguish itself from current offerings. Interestingly, the model is suggested to be exposed under UV lighting, hence its blue/purplish theme.

While it’s hard to determine with this only image available, its speculated that this may be the forthcoming white/black pair, since the primeknit construction is similarly styled.

adidas will be going all in this year when it comes to celebrating the year of the Rooster (Chinese New Year). Aside from the adidas Originals CNY Year of the Rooster Collection, they’re also going to release this Chinese New Year version of the adidas Originals EQT Support 93-16.

The adidas Originals EQT Support 93-16 Chinese New Year comes dressed in a tonal beige upper said to be inspired by the feathers on a rooster. The rest of the shoe not covered in the furry motif comes in a clean suede construction. Giving the shoe some color is the tricolor embroidery of a Rooster placed on the heel region of the shoe. Your customary ribbon Three Stripes branding appears on the panels, while the sole comes with Boost technology to give the hybrid model a comfortable ride. Custom insoles and tonal laces complete the look of the shoe. It worth mentioning that each pair will be sold in a commemorative wooden box. Stay tuned to find out when these get a release date.

adidas Originals continues its renaissance period in 2017 with a number of upcoming offerings that are sure to grab your attention. While the adidas NMD and adidas Ultra Boost continue to battle for your affection, the adidas NMD City Sock provides a lush lifestyle alternative with a woven Primeknit upper for a futuristic slip-on offering perfect for everyday use this coming Spring 2017 season. Today we get the first look at a collaboration with MikiType, a Tokyo-based calligrapher and type designer who already has a portfolio with projects with Vans and Sacai.

The adidas NMD City Sock MikiType features a simple black Primeknit upper with bold accents of Japanese Katakana on the midsole bumpers, medial side, and insole for a unique splash. A simple white Boost midsole allows for the woven construction to stand out for good measure while the insole features stamps of approval from the original trefoil branding in blue on one foot while MikiType’s logo hits the other insole.
