Much like Nike has been doing with the VaporMax, adidas is taking a similar route as they are using the NMD silhouette to create new hybrid silhouettes. One of the upcoming pairs that we take a look at above is the adidas Boston R1.

Just as the name implies, this mash-up sneaker takes elements from the adidas Boston Super and the NMD R1. The shoe comes constructed out of nylon and suede in shades of grey and blue all throughout the upper. Additional details include grey accents on the three stripes branding, heel, and laces, a white Boost midsole with black and red EVA inserts, and a black rubber outsole.

The adidas Boston R1 to release on September 1st at select adidas Originals retailers on September 1st.

adidas just dropped a brand new Blue colorway of the adidas POD S3.1. This new flavor of the model has its mesh upper done in a tonal Blue finish, which also includes the eyestay, laces, lining, etc. The knitted upper is then paired up with suede and TPU details to add another dimension to the design of the shoe. Below you will find a POD sole which consists of Boost in the heel, high-rebound EVA in the forefoot, and a TPU midfoot bridge for support and structure. Hits of Black are found on the top of the tongue and heel pull tab, while the POS sole comes in White and Blue.

The adidas POD S3.1 can now be found at select retailers such as JD Sports for the retail price of $120. Thoughts?

A new wave of adidas Continental 80 colorways are set to debut this week. Coming in your choice of Semi Frozen Yellow or Clear Pink, both pairs opt for a tonal finish where both the leather upper and rubber sole are done in each respective colorway. Both options are then accented by the Scarlet-Collegiate Navy hits noted on the branding and stripe going across the side panels. I wouldn’t necessarily call this new colorway of the adidas Falcon a “multicolor” iteration, but there is a lot going on (in terms of color) all over the shoe.

This upcoming colorway of the adidas Falcon starts off with a Light Teal mesh upper that is then offset by the Navy, Purple, Pink, and Steel Grey suede and leather overlays. Adding to the colorful motif of the shoe is the use of White, Grey and Aqua Blue noted on the midsole and Yellow, Pink, Grey, and Black used on the rubber outsole. The sneaker sports a tonal black upper with contrasting word consisting of “BREATHE” and “WALK” along the top in a mixture of White, Teal, Blue, Orange, Purple, and Yellow hues.

The Dragon Ball Z x adidas Kamanda Majin Buu edition gets a closer look, as the silhouette is expected to drop next month, along with a larger adidas x Dragon Ball Z collection featuring other silhouettes. This sleek model pays homage to the Majin Buu character by featuring a soft pink hue across its suede upper. Contrasting accents are found with gold foil branding on the sides, and a yellow heel tab featuring the evil Majin symbol. Finally, a semi-translucent dark grey textured rubber sole completes the design altogether.

Another colorway of the women’s exclusive adidas Arkyn is on the horizon and it’s one that many ladies will surely appreciate.

This colorway of the adidas Arkyn is constructed out of a lightweight and breathable mesh upper done in a heavenly white hue with tonal detailing on the unique lacing system, the TPU heel counter, and the leather detailing on the tongue and heel. Finishing details include a pop of light blue right above the midsole, a white Boost midsole, and grey/silver detailing on the heel of the midsole.

Another new iteration of the adidas Speedfactory AM4 is set to drop next week. This pair was created in collaboration with the legendary American tennis player Billie Jean King. Rocking a Royal Blue upper inspired by the Blue shoes Billie Jean King wore during a big match 45 years ago, the shoe also comes with custom detailing such as a portrait of Billie Jean Kong on the tongue and AM4BJK branding on the heel. The construction of the shoe includes an NFC-enabled tongue patch, ultra-light Speedfactory upper a Boost midsole and rubber outsole.

The adidas Speedfactory AM4 Billie Jean King will be launching alongside King?s new ?Here To Create Change? social justice initiative. Limited to only 300 pairs, the adidas Speedfactory AM4 Billie Jean King will be available at adidas.com and at the adidas US Open pop-up starting August 27th for $200.

Before summer officially comes to an end adidas will be releasing perhaps the cleanest colorway of the adidas Sobakov that we’ll see with the arrival of this all-white pair. Covered in Running White all throughout the stretchy knitted upper, the soccer-inspired silhouette from the three stripes is then hit tonal  reflective swerving 3-Stripes branding on the side panels/heel. An aggressively sculpted rubber outsole in a milky translucent white with a wavy herringbone pattern caps off the look. adidas Skateboarding will soon be releasing their latest installment to their adidas 3ST collection, the adidas 3ST.003.

Incorporating insights fromMiles Silvas and other adidas Pros, Senior Footwear Designer, Scott Johnston, pioneered the design and development of the latest addition to the 3ST family. The open source collaboration resulted in an entirely new shoe that progresses the modern skate footwear.

?The working name for this project was the Future Cup, as the priority for this concept was to create a shoe with the best all-around board feel, while using minimal components. The second part of this design was to make something bold that stands out, not only in skateboarding, but in the sneaker world as well,? explains Johnston. ?Vintage indoor soccer shoes have historically made for great skate shoes, so inspiration for the 3ST.003 was pulled from adidas? rich archive. Heavy textured gum rubber is also something the brand is known for, like on the Montreal, so we utilized that as the focus moment not only for durability and stability, but for the iconic detail of the 3ST.003, AKA Future Cup.?

The adidas 3ST.003 features enhanced aesthetics of purposeful yet forward-thinking design lines and premium materials. It is made from a one-piece suede upper and features perforated Three Stripes and fold-down tongue for added style preference.
