In addition to the LEGO x adidas Ultra Boost that released yesterday, adidas and LEGO join forces for another collaboration this time a 6-piece adidas ZX 8000 collection. Inspired by the classic LEGO bricks, this collection consists of six solid colors of the ZX 8000 silhouette. The color choices include Black, Red, Royal Blue, Green, Yellow, and Ash Grey. Each of the sneakers takes on the same details/characteristics which include yellow and white ribbon three stripes branding on the side panels, LEGO branding on the tongues and insoles, LEGO piece dubraes, and a plastic heel counter meant to resemble the classic LEGO pieces. This LEGO x adidas ZX 8000 collection will be releasing at select retailers on April 23rd with an adidas.com release still pending.

This adidas Ultra Boost DNA has been dubbed the ?DFB? which stands for ?Deutscher Fußball-Bund? in German or German Football Association in English, and is made with Primeblue, a high-performance recycled material made in part with Parley Ocean Plastic. 50% of the upper is textile, 75% of the textile is Primeblue yarn. Black dominates the Primeknit upper along with the signature lace cage, plastic heel counter, Ultra Boost branding, Boost midsole, and the Continental rubber outsole. The defining characteristics come on the tongue where we see the teams’ logo and the four stars placed on the heel tab.

While it’s not officially confirmed as of yet, the silhouettes originally dropped in 2019. It starts off with a Black canvas upper that can be customized with interchangeable rip-tape patches. Other design details include the hits of Green tiger camo throughout including the detachable pouch housing Orange laces that you can swap in for an even bolder look. The special iteration of the adidas Ultra Boost DNA starts off with a White upper paired up with Metallic Silver overlays found on the toe and heel counter. Shown above, out first look at the Neighborhood x Undefeated x adidas ZX 8000 shows that the model will come dressed in either your choice of White or Black. Details on both pairs include the carbon fiber-like constructed upper, “Undefeated” running down the tongue, a zippered stash pocket on the tongues, dual branding on the heels and a sole unit that features a chain link pattern in the rear end.
