Back in the 90s Puma created and released their Puma CELL Technology which was said to be one of the most durable and resilient cushioning technologies of the day. Twenty years later Puma celebrates the anniversary by reissuing a classic from the PUMA Archive: the Puma CELL Endura.

Back in 1998, PUMA introduced the first iteration of CELL Technology for stable cushioning. Stability came from blow-molded polyurethane elastomer (TPU) that was configured in a pattern of hexagonal cells. Combinations of these cells allowed us to engineer cushioning and solve for a variety of running needs.

The Puma CELL Endura was the brand’s pinnacle model in the CELL range. Being that the retro/chunky runner is currently trending, Puma thought it was a perfect time to bring back this 90s classic in its best form yet on the eve of the PUMA CELL?s 20^th anniversary.

The Puma CELL Endura comes with standout features such as the distinctive eyelets, a chunky silhouette, and its green CELL Technology. Staying true to its OG glory, the model is updated purely with new materials and new production techniques. It maintains the running tech detailing of the original model along with the rubber toe cap plus a unique eyelet stay for the laces. The sneaker?s last was referenced from the PUMA Archive and reworked to create a sleeker toe shape. The original CELL Endura was hand-stitched but this version has evolved with the times and features digital stitching. A breathable mesh upper with suede overlays and PU coated leather overlays cover the upper which sits atop an EVA midsole and rubber outsole.

Celebrating Sneakerness Paris 2018, Puma has linked up with Francky B (the man behind the event) to release a collaborative version of the Puma Thunder. Dubbed the Sneakerness x Puma Thunder Astroness, this iteration of the model is inspired by an encounter with Marseille rapper, Alonzo. As Francky B begain speaking with Marseille (aka Mars to local residents) he noticed a common in the conversation: the future, space exploration, and the year 2054.

This colorway of the model has it’s upper rocking a Mars-inspired color scheme that features a White and Grey upper offset by the Black and Orange detailing found throughout. Orange is a nod to Mars and the orange spacesuits worn by the first NASA shuttle crews. If you take a closer look at the images, you will see the Sneakerness branding is spotted on the tongues.

Priced at $150, look for the Sneakerness x Puma Thunder Astroness at Sneakerness Paris on September 15 and 16. Oh yea, you better act fast since the shoe is limited to 201 pairs.

Puma teams up with Polaroid (consumer electronics powerhouse) to release the PUMA x Polaroid RS Pack. The pack includes one pair of the Puma RS-0 and one pair of the Puma RS-100.

?Instant photography? has taken on new meaning since Polaroid first introduced the instant camera in the 1940?s. We now have cameras that can fit in our pockets, cameras that fly, and more places to view these photos than ever before. The reinvention of photography has changed the way we travel, share stories, interact with our friends, and capture moments. The PUMA x Polaroid collaboration celebrates this story of reinvention of both industry giants.

The RS-0 Polaroid sneaker is inspired by the game-changing Polaroid OneStep instant camera. The sneaker features a premium white leather upper, micro perf vents, 6mm flat, reflective laces and the iconic Polaroid Color Spectrum graphic on the tongue. The red footbed is a nod to the recognizable shutter button.

The RS-100 Polaroid sneaker reimagines the 80?s RS-100 model with hints of photography inspiration. Between the two sneaker styles, the RS-100 Polaroid sneaker is the OG silhouette, keeping true to the retro style. The upper features a combination of mesh and leather panels. The iconic Polaroid Color Spectrum graphic is lent to the tongue and outsole.

Both pairs feature PUMA and Polaroid branding found on the tongue label and footbed. The shoes also include a miniature version of the Polaroid analog instant photo in the Polaroid Classic Border Logo with co-branding used as a hangtag.

PUMA linked up with Artist Joshua Vides this past weekend as they created a one of kind basketball court in the center of JAY-Z?s music festival, Made In America.

Using his unique and recognizable style, Vides sketched and outlined the full regulated basketball court and inserted his signature white and black outlined safety cones. Throughout Saturday and Sunday the court was open to concert attendees to take pictures on the court and get involved in the many PUMA activities.

Since PUMA?s re-emergence into the Basketball category, the brand has signed a number of notable players one of which attended the celebrity 3-point contest on Sunday afternoon. Basketball player and PUMA ambassadors Rudy Gay and God Shammgod appeared alongside Instagram Comedian, Shiggy and Hip-Hop artist Preme as well as rapper Fabolous. They competed against each other and 5 lucky concert attendees in a 3-point contest on the PUMA court, with Team Shammgod taking the trophy home.

PUMA unveils their latest collaboration as they have come together with world-renowned South Korean boy band BTS.

The BTS x PUMA Basket features a mixture of black and gold along with white patent leather with a shiny surface and vivid color that adds a simple and luxurious touch to the shoes. A logo designed by BTS and engraving of the group?s debut date has been applied to the shoes.

BTS has become a solid pop-music titan breaking records such as winning Top Social Artist Award at the Billboard Music Awards in two consecutive years, achieving the first rank on the Billboard 200.

Artist Bradley Theodore and Puma link up to create a collection that turns street art to streetwear. Bradley Theodore makes the world his canvas and the striking use of color and texture is a true reflection of the energy and passion he brings to his art.

The renowned street artist is known for painting vibrant skeletal renditions of pop culture icons like Muhammad Ali and Karl Lagerfeld on the streets of New York. The NRG yellow reminds me of home, Miami and the purple is both my mother and my favorite color. On Saturday August 11th, Puma re-launched the classic Puma GV Special with a special event held in the city of Atlanta. The PUMA Bloodlines event honored Atlanta?s unique spirit by allowing consumers to hop on the MARTA train or walk to each activation to experience the energy of the city at the PUMA stops. Guests that attended and hit all three stops received a pair of Puma GV Specials at a block party in Woodruff Park with a performance by EARTHGANG.

For those that don’t know, the Puma GV Special made its first debut in the 80?s. Fast-forward to today and it is now considered a sport-turned-street icon. Known for its smooth leather and court-inspired style, the GC Special is seen in all-White and also comes with White/Red or White/Blue color schemes. Did you attend the event?
