PUMA is celebrating Black History Month by highlighting the work of Black leaders, partners, and community organizations that continue to inspire and shape the future for generations to come. Throughout the month, PUMA will stand alongside athletes, ambassadors and partners by amplifying their voices and actions across various platforms in support of universal equality, justice, and acceptance for all.

To kick off the month, PUMA is announcing its multi-year partnership with the Black Fives Foundation in support of Black History education reform. The Black Fives Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit whose mission since 2002 is to research, preserve, showcase, teach, and honor the pre-NBA history of African Americans in basketball. The partnership will raise awareness about this vital history and its pioneering players, teams, and contributors though initiatives that make a difference.

PUMA will also support the Foundation?s preservation and education efforts through creative activations, including an engaging, multi-use online museum to display its archives of historical artifacts and content from the Black Fives Era. Set to launch later this year, The Black Fives Foundation?s Virtual Vault, presented by PUMA, will be an online portal for visitors to see, learn, and be inspired by the pre-NBA history of African American in basketball through nearly 1,000 artifacts in the Foundation?s archive. Items include vintage equipment, ticket stubs, game gear, images, scorecards, and more.

This partnership with Black Fives will also include special apparel and footwear collections with popular PUMA styles including vintage graphics and logos maintained by the Foundation?s trademarked slogan ?Make History Now.? A preview of the first forthcoming collection can be found above (more info to come this month).

The Puma Suede hit the scene in 1968 and has been changing the game ever since. It?s been worn by the icons of every generation and it?s stayed classic through it all. In an effort to revamp the iconic Suede model, Puma will be releasing the Puma Suede XXI. The updated Suede XXI comes in a variety of colors with a full suede upper, the iconic PUMA formstrip on the side, and a woven label with PUMA branding on tongue. Tonal laces matching the upper, While soles and Gold foil branding round out the main features of the shoe.

The Puma Suede is the most classic/iconic sneaker that the German multinational corporation has ever made. To celebrate the silhouette, Puma is set to launch ?28 Days of Suede? ? a month-long celebration of the iconic Puma Suede.

The Puma Suede made its debut back in 1968. More than half a century later, the Puma Suede still manages to change the game in its own way. Puma recently dropped this brand new collection dubbed the Puma Fashion Rebels. This group of sneakers is designed for pack leaders who destroy doubts, don?t care about trends and aren?t afraid to show their wild side.

The Puma Fashion Rebels Collection is made up of the Pume Hedra, Puma Eris and Puma Kyron. Dressed in similar motifs, details on the shoes include a muted color palette with a unique wrapped tooling inspired by running spikes while being constructed out of  a mix of suede and leather.

The Puma Hedra specifically gives street style a touch of avant-garde with a chunky silhouette, while the Eris has a sleek, radical silhouette. The Kyron debuted last summer as the first style to join the Fashion Rebels family, with a closed mesh upper and suede overlay. All designs take inspiration from PUMA?s archive shoes and infuse them with high fashion elements.

Teased earlier this month, Puma has now officially introduced J.Cole’s next signature basketball sneaker, the Puma Dreamer 2.

The new silhouette is the latest addition to the DREAMER franchise, which successfully debuted with the original RS-Dreamer last year. The debut colorway is dubbed “January 28”, which is named after J.Cole’s song with the same name from his popular album ?2014 Forest Hills Drive?, which shares his birthday and the launch date for this first drop.

The Puma Dreamer 2 basketball sneaker is a mid-silhouette intended to be worn on and off the court. It?s equipped with the latest RS technology from PUMA allowing athletes to perform at the highest level while also boasting a bold and slick fashion-forward design.

To mark the launch of DREAMER 2, J. Cole brought it back to where his earliest dreams and fantasies began, with a re-imaged photo of his ?2014 Forest Hills Drive? album cover. In the photo, Cole is sitting on the rooftop of his childhood home in the same iconic fashion as the famous life-changing album cover. This time however, he is showcasing his own signature shoe on his feet and is no longer looking off into the distance for his own dreams and aspirations, but instead looking straight on as if to say, ?I did it, now it?s your turn.?

PUMA and Hong Kong based artist Michael Lau are releasing their first full collection together. The PUMA x Michael Lau collection, ?SAMPLE,? documents the mental journey of the creator, and expresses the interaction between the artist and the product.

Retailing for $40 ? $350, the unisex collection consists of footwear, apparel and accessories that features hand-drawn pencil graphics, graph paper textures and other playful design references with a hand-made inspired look and feel. Key footwear styles include bold iterations of the Mirage Mox, Ralph Sampson Mid, Ralph Sampson Lo and RS-2K. Additional items from the pack include the Two-Face track jacket which features a unique print with a pencil mark graphics, a reversible style and a tall collar, a Flat Brim Cap with a detachable ?PUMA SAMPLE STUFF? graphic and a Tote Bag that comes with unique graphic prints.

J. Cole’s Puma RS-Dreamer was undoubtedly one of the best new models of 2020 due to its versatility on and off the court. For 2021, is a sequel to J.Cole’s Puma RS-Dreamer in the works? That appears to be the case judging by his latest IG post.

Said to be the Puma RS-Dreamer 2, this “teaser” look at the release comes dressed in a Yellow upper with Black overlays. Done in a mid top design, there is no confirmation yet on whether this pair will also be a performance basketball sneaker.

Not much else is known regarding J.Cole’s Puma RS-Dreamer 2, but as soon as official info is announced by Puma, we’ll be sure to let you know. Stay tuned.
