Jeff Staple took the world by storm with his infamous Pigeon Dunks, but he also managed a great collaboration with German lifestyle brand Puma and the iconic Puma Suede over three years ago. Now the duo returns with a brand new effort that may require a little more hustle to secure the full collection this time around. Not only will the iconic Pigeon aesthetic return to the Puma Suede in grey, black, and white, but the Puma Blaze of Glory Pigeon will be a brand new addition to the Fall 2016 lineup.

Jeff recalls a time when sneaker collecting was a bit simpler, saying, ?I miss the days when sneaker culture was all about the hunt. You might need to ask a favor from a relative in London, or hit up a homie in Tokyo in order to get grails you really needed. Times have changed in the culture and the way people get their kicks.?

What’s exciting about this four pair collection outside of the unique color blocking on the Puma Suedes and the speckled style of the Puma Blaze of Glory Pigeon is that each colorway is region-specific. A “Star White” Puma Suede Pigeon will be available in both North and South America, the “Frost Grey” Puma Suede Pigeon will release in Europe and the Middle East, and the “Pure Black Puma Suede Pigeon will be available in Asia Pacific territories. Puma’s top accounts will be stocking the Blaze of Glory worldwide in limited quantities.

Staple’s own Reed Space in New York City will be the only retailer to stock all of the pairs on September 13th followed by a global release on September 17th. Check out more detailed shots below and stay tuned for more release announcements right here on Sneaker News.

We got a three-way collaboration on the way! Puma links up with two streetwear brands hailing from Japan to work their magic on none other than the Puma Clyde. Said to be a limited edition drop, let’s take a look at the XLARGE x mita sneakers x PUMA Clyde.

The Puma Clyde keeps things fairly simple as Cream Suede upper is nicely contrasted by the hits of Green placed on the side stripe and heel, and the Gold hits placed on the branding. White appears on the laces and lining while off-White takes care of the sole unit. XLARGE and mita sneakers branding appears on the tongue to give the shoe a bit of a collaborative feel. The collaboration will also include t-shirts in Black or White that go perfectly with the footwear. Stay tuned to find out when these end up releasing.

Aside from the minimal branding on the tongue, the shoe doesn’t have much of a collaborative feel to it. I wish it did. It sort of looks like a GR to me to be quite honest.

Puma has the Puma Clyde on heavy rotation over the lat couple of months and show no signs of stopping that anytime soon. Up next for the classic model is the Puma Clyde Dressed Pack you see above. Composed of three different colorways to choose from, let’s get a closer look at the shoe.

Opting to take the premium lux route, the Puma Clyde comes in your choice of White, Red or Black. All three colorways will come with snakeskin-like detailing placed all over the leather upper. The toe and the stripe branding are the only parts of the upper that don’t come with the snakeskin motif. Additional lux features include the Black leather sock lining and the Gold Puma “Clyde” branding on the side of the shoe. Tonal laces and a White sole unit complete the look of all three pairs. Known as the Puma Rihanna Sneaker Boot Wedge and the Puma Rihanna Sneaker Boot, each features a head-turning array of leather, chains, zippers, and metal lace eyelets for a release that won’t be for everyone but will bring out the punk in anyone that decides to lace up and slip into a pair.

There was launch event at the new Footlocker at the #NYC33 event space yesterday that saw the debut of both silhouettes. Polish-based UEG, links up with Puma to release this futuristic capsule collection. Dubbed the UEG x Puma Gravity Resistance, the collection is said to be inspired by space, discovery and exploration.

Everything from the footwear to the apparel is done in a simple Black and White motif. It results in a minimal aesthetic which at the same time manages to have a bold and futuristic look to it. Aside from the technical performance materials used on the pullovers and dresses, there are also a few sneakers in the collection. One is a Black low-top sneaker without any laces accented by the hits of White throughout. While the second pair is a  knee-high sneaker boot coming in White and contrasted by the Black placed all over. Check out the first look of the UEG x Puma Gravity Resistance collection ans just know that everything is said to be dropping before the year ends.

Here is out first look at this upcoming Staple x Puma Pigeon collaboration. Puma links up with Jeff Staple and his brand to release two special versions of the Puma Suede and Puma Blaze of Glory. Utilizing the beloved Pigeon theme on both pairs, let’s get our first look at the shoe.

The Puma Blaze of Glory comes dressed in color scheme and color blocking that’s closely associated with the Pigeon “look”. Giving it that added collaborative feel is the dual branding placed on the tongues of the shoes. The Puma Suede opts to go with a contemporary look as the predominantly Black suede upper is sharply contrasted by the Red found on the heel region. After teaming up three years ago, Staple Design and PUMA are back with another collaboration this fall. Once again, Staple gives the famous “Pigeon” theme to a duo of PUMA models including the Suede and Blaze of Glory. The latter goes for a traditional “Pigeon” look in shades of grey for the premium nubuck and mesh upper with the bright pinkish-red hue accenting throughout. The suede goes for a more unique new look, featuring a predominantly black suede upper with a block of bright red at each heel that even extends down to the sole. Of course, both models also come adorned with the iconic Pigeon?on the tongue for the Blaze of Glory and embossed in the pink of the Suede. Everything they seem to be releasing is an instant success, so if I were them I’d keep my foot on the pedal and continue releasing more and more collaborative efforts. Although no official announcement has been made, it looks like we may not have to wait much longer for the next collaboration to arrive.

Earlier today, CNCPTS NYC took to their Twitter and posted the image you see above with a caption reading “The latest Fenty by Rihanna collection arrives September 7th. In-store and online.” If that ends up being the case, the next installment of the Rihanna x Puma line is only two weeks away. What do you think this latest collab will consist of? More Creepers? Slides? I guess we’re going to have to wait and see.

The STAMPD x PUMA collaboration continues for Fall 2016, as the duo now reveal two more iterations of the Blaze of Glory and Trinomic Sock.

With both pairs coordinating with the LA-based fashion imprint’s design ethos of contemporary monochromatic minimalism, the Blaze of Glory flaunts a mixture of tonal neoprene, mesh and leather with perforated side panels, alongside a toggled elastic lacing system, as it all rests atop a crisp white Trinomic sole unit.

Meanwhile, the Trinomic Sock remixes old-school running style with modern sleekness. Inspired by the Disc Blaze silhouette, this particular pair amplifies its clean lines with a closure-free design that integrates an elastic band over the foot.
