First Look: Nike PG 2 The Academy

Today we get an on-feet look at the Nike PG 2 The Academy. This special iteration of the model is one of several Nike Basketball models that make up Nike?s ?The Academy? lineup. Said to be exclusive to the invite-only athletes, the Nike PG 2 The Academy comes dressed in a bright Infrared upper placed on top of a White midsole, Multicolor Swoosh and Teal outsole. Black detailing on the laces, tongue, and inner liner round out the main features of the shoe.

The Nike PG 2 The Academy is not expected to release anytime soon, but if anything changes, we will be sure to let you know.

Release Information For The Nike Air More Uptempo EU City Pack

Remember the international colorways of the Nike Air More Uptempo that surfaced last month for France, Italy, and England? Well all three have received a release date.

Known as the Nike Air More Uptempo EU City Pack, the collection of Uptempos represent the cities of London, Milan, and Paris. Each colorway takes on a different color scheme and is highlighted by an embroidered silhouette of their city on the heels. The Paris colorway comes done in black & gold for a simple and clean look, the Milan colorway gets hit with the Green, White, and Red stripes of the Italian flag, and the London pair features a multicolor theme all throughout the upper that represents the city’s culture.

At the moment all three pairs are expected release in the U.S. on FootLocker.com beginning August 14th, followed by a wider release to select Foot Locker locations on August 25th. Each pair will retail for $160.

The Nike Basketball The Academy 2018 Collection is beginning to roll out and here we give you a look at the Nike KD 11 from the collection. Created exclusively for the invite-only athletes, this special colorway of the Nike KD 11 features a bright orange Flyknit upper with black and teal accents throughout the shoe to provide a nice contrast. The inner ankle also features small emoji icons while a translucent outsole wraps up the look.

Nike continues to give us new colorways of the Nike Air Foamposite One with one of the upcoming pairs being this Habanero Red offering.

This iteration of the Foamposite One features a bright shade of red (Habanero Red) all throughout the signature foam shell upper with contrasting Black then landing on the tongue, eyestay, laces, inner liner, and the rubber outsole. Additional hits of Habanero Red are seen on the Nike and One Cent branding throughout the shoe.

The next installment in the Nike Air VaporMax hybrid series is here and it’s releasing exactly one week from today. For their next trick, Nike has taken the Air VaporMax and this time combined it with one of the most classic Air Max silhouettes of all-time, the Air Max 95.

Appropriately known as the Nike Air VaporMax 95, this hybrid sees the classic Air Max 95 upper get placed atop the revolutionary VaporMax sole unit. For the first drop it was only right that Nike used the OG Neon colorway of the 95 as black shades of grey and white combine on the upper with neon green accents on the eyelets and branding. Down below we have a blacked out VaporMax sole unit with hits of neon.
