Release Update: Nike Zoom Kobe 1 Protro MPLS

The Nike Zoom Kobe 1 Protro MPLS made a surprise release at select Nike retailers, but a wider drop is now revealed for next week. This pair celebrates a classic style with the 2006 Nike Zoom Kobe 1 MPLS colorway, and it’s applied on the update version of Kobe Bryan?t first signature shoe. Also, it’s a nod to the Detroit Gems franchise which would then become the Lakers. The team moved to Minneapolis in 1947, and its name was changed to the Lakers to reflect the Minnesota state nickname, ?Land of 10,000 Lakes.? A mixture of grey, university blue and white are basically coated on the sneaker to complete the theme.

A whole lot of Nike models will be given the “Just Do It” treatment this Summer. Today we add another Nike Just Do It Pack to the list, but this one’s made exclusively for the kids (or small-footers).

The kids-exclusive Nike Just Do It Pack consists of the Nike Air Max 270Nike Air Max 95, Nike Air Huarache City, and the Nike Air Huarache Extreme. Each model from the pack utilizes the same color scheme and theme consisting of repeated ?Just Do It? branding/pattern done in bold Black throughout the upper accented by the Bright Crimson accents found on areas such as the branding, eyelets, pull tabs, outsoles and/or Air Max units. A New Nike Air Max 1 With Mini Swooshes

Seeing mini Swooshes on the Air Max 1 used to be a rarity in the past, but in the last couple of years we’ve been seeing Nike use it more and more. Today we bring you a look at a new colorway of the Nike Air Max 1 which has been hit with the miniature Swoosh branding.

Covered in a versatile Pure Platinum all throughout the upper, this Nike Air Max 1 comes constructed out of mesh and suede on the upper for that classic look. A large tonal Swoosh is seen on the side panels while the mini Swoosh logos on the toe are done in black. Additional black accents can be seen on the upper eyelets, and the branding on the tongue, heel, and toe. Down below we see a Sail midsole and a white/black rubber outsole.

The ladies get another sure-fire hit for the Summertime. This new women’s colorway of the Air Max 1 goes by the name of the Nike Air Max 1 Clear Emerald or what some people would say, the Nike Air Max 1 Grape. Regardless of what you call them, they’re coming.

The Air Max 1 comes dressed in a White mesh base paired up with the Grey and Black accents on the midfoot paneling and Swoosh branding. The Grape theme is executed with the help of the Teal mudguard and Purple detailing on the tongue tag and vamp. Below you will find a White midsole, Purple Air Max unit, and Black outsole. No official release date has been announced but look for the the women’s Nike Air Max 1 Clear Emerald to drop later on this month for $130.

Mango Swooshes Hit This Nike Air Max 1

A lot of times we see sneakers that use a different array of colors that don’t necessarily “match” with each other and wait for it….that’s ok. Here is an example with this new colorway of the Nike Air Max 1.

This Air Max 1 starts off with light and dark shades of grey atop the mesh and nubuck upper with black then hitting the suede mudguard. The only pop of color comes on the leather Swoosh branding on the side panels and the Nike Air on the heels which have been done in a bright Mango. An off white midsole and black rubber outsole take care of things down below.

We’ve seen it in White, we’ve seen it in Orange, now we get to see the Nike Air Huarache City Low in a Black colorway while utilizing the Just Do It theme. Releasing next month, here’s a first look at the Nike Air Huarache City Low Black Just Do It.

This iteration of the Nike Air Huarache City Low will come dressed in a Black, White and Total Orange color scheme. The majority of the upper is done in Black (leather, mesh, nylon) which is quickly offset by the ?Just Do It? text pattern placed on the midsole overlay that ends up extending al the way down to the outsole. Other features include the White sole, heel and tongue pull tabs and the Just Do It tag on the heel tab.
