The classic Air Jordan 11 Low Columbia is set to make a return this year, as it’s noted to be part of Jordan Brand’s Spring/Summer 2017 collection.

Originally seen back in 2001, this forthcoming revival is essentially a remastered pair. The defining light blueish tone is prominent across its patent leather component encompassing the profile, while white leather is utilized for the remainder of its upper and tongue. Finally, a matching white midsole unit and translucent outsole finishes off the clean design.

While previous rumors suggested this model to be the Air Jordan 6 Hare, this latest variation of the basketball silhouette is actually an extension of Jordan Brand‘s “Alternate” color scheme for 2017.

Somewhat of a hybrid maroon rendition as well, the sneaker pays homage to the Chicago Bulls’ signature tones with white, pure platinum and gym red accents covering its entire upper. This iteration is also the pair that MJ would’ve donned during the 1991 Playoffs, as the year ?1991? is evidenced on the tongues. Finally, translucent outsoles finish off the design.

Renz Ofiaza, News: Even though it’s been confused with the Hare or Maroon colorways, it’s still another appealing iteration. I’m just biased in general. Although, this model should be one of the more desired options from JB’s 2017 lineup.

In addition to the Air Jordan 8 Take Flight, the classic Air Jordan 8 will be treated in Jordan Brand’s alternate iteration as well this year, with this particular pair reflective of the original Bugs Bunny theme.

Essentially a tribute to an unreleased variation which didn’t make it into production when the Bugs Bunny pair released in 1993, the silhouette is dressed in a Chicago Bulls’-inspired color scheme of white, black and red.

White leather with perforations covers its upper, while contrasting red and black accents are scattered throughout its entirety. Finally, a graphic inner liner and ?1993? on the pull tabs completes the respective design.

Renz Ofiaza, News: I’m a fan of this new alternate color scheme in general. Although I would’ve preferred the revival of the actual Bugs Bunny colorway, this variation is still another appealing option that will surely garner the attention it deserves.

In addition to two variations of the Air Jordan 12, the Jordan Brand CNY (Chinese New Year) pack will also include a new rendition of the Air Jordan 31.

Noted to honor the 20th anniversary of JB?s stance in the Chinese market as well, the basketball sneaker dons a simplistic color scheme of black and white in a gradient effect, throughout its flyweave and synthetic leather upper.

Cool grey accents are utilized for the enlarged Jumpman branding and inner lining, while real bamboo wood detailing is evident the heel. In addition, the translucent outsole bears a distinctive interwoven graphic to further coordinate with its respective theme, as special Chinese symbols also adorn the inner tongue.

This model will initially debut in China first starting January 7th, while a U.S. release is scheduled to follow on January 28th ? Chinese New Year.

Renz Ofiaza, News: The extra price tag is from the actual utilization of real bamboo, and overall, it’s another cool execution that pays homage to the holiday/culture. The overall colorway is pretty versatile and classic as well.

Following reports of the Chutney pair making a return, reputable sneaker info leaker, DJ Folk, has also provided insight that the Air Jordan 13 Flint will be offered this year as well.

Originally released in 1998, with a retro in 2005 and then in 2010, the classic blue and grey colorway is simply one of the silhouette’s popular iterations. A confirmed release date has yet to be revealed, although, rumors suggest that it’s slated for the 2017 Labor Day Weekend (Saturday, September 2).

The Air Jordan 15 Obsidian initially released back in 2000. Seventeen years later, Jordan Brand has decided to bring back the shoe once more. The retro appears to mimic the look and feel of the original pair as it comes with an  obsidian, white and metallic silver color scheme. The shoe’s most notable feature is the woven leather upper placed alongside a mixture of leather. Adding contrast to the shoe is the white placed on the inner sleeve, heel, tongue and frontal portion of the outsole to cap off its overall profile. Finishing touches include white laces and metallic silver lace tips. No release date just yet, but look for these to drop this upcoming Spring season.

Back in November, Jordan Brand decided to release a premium version of the Air Jordan 31 dubbed the Black Cat. The shoe was done in a nice suede and quilted leather upper. Well, it looks like another Black Cat version of the Air Jordan 31 is on the way but this one is done in the model’s normal construction.

Once again, opting to keep things tonal, the Air Jordan 31 Black Cat is done in a Black and Anthracite upper constructed of the the usual Flyweave on the front and leather on the back. Creating minimal contrast is the White noted on both the Flywire and outsole. This version of the Black does come with the Jumpman on the heel, while the leather tongue tag and gradient Swoosh on the panels are also intact. As of right now, the shoe is scheduled to release on March 10th for $185. What are your first thoughts on the Air Jordan 31 Black Cat?

Jordan Brand will be releasing classic colorways along with new ones of the Air Jordan 11 Low this Spring/Summer season. One of those new colorways is the Air Jordan 11 Low Barons. This version of the Air Jordan 11 Low comes with a color scheme consisting of a Black nubuck upper accented by the Ash Grey patent leather placed on the toe and mudguard. Adding more of a premium feel to the shoe is the Black leather placed on the heels. A White midsole, milky translucent outsole and Metallic Silver branding complete the look. Just in case you didn’t know where the nickname “Barons” came from, it’s a nod to the to the Birmingham Barons (the minor league team baseball team that Micheal Jordan played for during his short stint with the sport). Thoughts on this nubuck-based Air Jordan 11 Low?

Juan Carrillo, News: I like the fact that the uppers is made out of nubuck instead of the customary mesh construction. The iridescent patent leather is also new look. But for some reason I still feel like the shoe is a bit too plain. Lowkey, it appears to be a low top version of the Air Jordan 11 72-10.

Jordan Brand and Michael Jordan have an interesting history with the Orlando Magic. It was the last team to ever beat MJ and the Bulls in the playoffs during their run of 6 championships, but plenty of Orlando-esque colorways have hit Jordan retros. His Airness even rocked a Penny signature model in a game when his Air Jordan 11s didn’t meet league protocol. It shouldn’t come as a surprise that a number of players on the Magic’s roster have ties to Jordan Brand either, as Jeff Green and Bismack Biyombo recently laced up 2 new Air Jordan 31 Orlando Magic PEs in a game against the Knicks at Madison Square Garden.

Bismack opted for the above pictured black on black pair with a vibrant touch of royal on the Jumpman, Dynamic Flywire,a nd heel gradient. While that selection more readily ties into the ‘Away’ theme, Jeff Green decided to go a different route and lace up a white-on-white look that hid any slight signs of Swoosh side panel branding. Last week we saw Andre Johnson break out some incredible Miami-themed Jordan 11s in support of the football team, but Michael Finley may have those green/orange PEs beat. Finley had some strong Air Jordan PEs during his playing days, but his best player exclusive yet comes in the form of this Metallic Gold Air Jordan 11 complete with a matching gold midsole and vibrant red outsole for a splash of Badger pride. What makes this even better for the him is that the Badgers defeated Western Michigan in the Cotton Bowl to close out a successful year for the Badgers football squad. Hopefully we’ll get a better look at this Air Jordan 11 Gold exclusively for Michael Finley in the future, but in the meantime, check out his original tweet below.

With official images surfacing last week, today we bring you an on-feet look at the upcoming Air Jordan 11 Low Columbia.

Last seen in 2001, this classic colorway of the Air Jordan 11 features a White leather on the majority of the upper while contrasting touches of University Blue are seen on the signature patent leather mudguard, and the branding on the tongue and heel. A white midsole and icy blue translucent outsole round out the look on this simple colorway of the Jordan 11 Low.

Take in the on-feet images above and look for the Air Jordan 11 Low Columbia to release some time in May of this year.

Following up the highly coveted Air Jordan 14 PE for the Oregon Ducks in grey from last season, this year’s squad also gets blessed with their own edition of the Duck-covered sneakers. Actually just like the version given to the Oregon track team last summer, the basketball team receives the unique Air Jordan 14 with The Duck mascot embossed across the upper in an olive green hue. Of course, the tongue tags on the track team’s version that say “TRACK” are simply replaced with “B.BALL” for this latest PE for Oregon’s basketball team. Check out an official look at the shoe directly from the University of Oregon’s Twitter account here, and although these will more thank likely remain a PE exclusive to the team, we’ll let you know if they ever hit retail.

It might not seem obvious at first, but Jordan Brand athletes Kawhi Leonard and Michael Finley have a lot more in common than you think. While both were drafted with little fanfare in the middle of the first round of their respective years (Leonard went 15th overall in 2011, Finley was 21st in 1995), Leonard and Finley would make an immediate impact on their teams, garnering plenty of Rookie Of The Year votes and earning spots on the All-Rookie First Team. They shared the spotlight with higher profile teammates (Tim Duncan, Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili for Leonard while Finley was part of his own Big 3 with Dirk Nowitzki and Steve Nash) but they were also All-Stars in their own right and won NBA Championships with the San Antonio Spurs at different points in the dynasty.

Leonard and Finley have also made quite a mark during their time as Jordan Brand athletes. Finley was one of the first players to sign up to Nike offshoot during his prime years in the late 1990s and early 2000s and Leonard is a standard bearer now for the Jumpman. And when you’re a star for Jordan Brand, you get your hands on player exclusives that would made any sneakerhead cry.

Within the span of a week, both Leonard and Finley made sneaker headlines with Air Jordan 11 Gold PEs. Turns out Ray Allen wasn’t the only cool kid in Jordan Brand with gold 11s. Leonard turned heads on Christmas Day after the Spurs beat the Chicago Bulls with a metallic gold 11 and Finley showed off a similar pair but with a gold midsole and red translucent as an homage to his alma mater of Wisconsin. So for fun, we compared what their kicks would look like on the court in NBA 2K17. The results were not as great as we had hoped. Its starts out fine in the shoe editor, a little darker than we hoped but still workable, sometimes the shoe looks different in the editor and in the final product on the court.

But then we play Leonard’s Spurs against Finley’s 2002 Dallas Mavericks and their kicks look uh, different. On the plus side, Don C now knows what a “Beach” Air Jordan 11 looks like, I guess?

Air Jordan 4 enthusiasts, we’ve got good news for you! We just came across a brand new colorway of the model and we’ve first images to share with you. Let’s get a closer look.

The new colorway of the Air Jordan 4 comes with a Black leather upper accompanied by even more Black in places such as the netting/underlay and laces. Adding contrast to the shoe are the Grey hits noted on the honeycomb eyelets, lining and parts of the sole, as well as the Royal Blue hits placed on the branding and inside of the tongue. Features worth mentioning are the fact that both the heel tabs and wings on the paneling are both done in leather construction, resulting in more of a premium feel to the shoe. No concrete release date is available yet, but according to DJ Folk on Twitter, you can expect this Air Jordan 4 to release sometime in the month of May. Thoughts on the new Air Jordan 4 colorway? Another day, another look at an upcoming Air Jordan 4 for May 2017. Jordan Brand is bringing back Michael Jordan’s iconic fourth signature silhouette in a number of colorways for the new year. Not only are we going to see the Air Jordan 4 “Motorsports” return, but the Air Jordan 4 “Royalty” will be joined by this Air Jordan 4 Black Royal come springtime.

The Air Jordan 4 Black Royal features an LS-esque tumbled black leather throughout the upper similar to those early 2000 Air Jordan 4 “Oreo” and “Colombia” lifestyle retros. The original ‘Flight’ branding is hit in a contrasting royal blue shade similar to that found on the Motorsports 4s while Cement Grey accents hit the lining, ‘Wings’ lace eyelets and outsole.
