A provocative collaboration between legendary artist KAWS and Jordan Brand seem to be in the works. This ties in together with a photo that surfaced many months ago of an Air h Retro with KAWS’ signature “X” markings visible through the translucent glow-in-the-dark sole. KAWS recently collaborated with Nike Basketball on an incredible asphalt mural in Manhattan’s Lower East Side. More details to come as they surface.

Jordan Brand continues to expand their international reach as they have just opened the doors to their new No. 16 Songgao flagship store in Taipei.

The new space is a Jordan Brand fan’s paradise as it houses the latest and greatest in Jordan footwear from their performance and lifestyle lines, and of course their retros. They even released the all-new Air Jordan Chinese New Year Collection that includes two colorways of the Air Jordan 12 and one Air Jordan 31. You’re also able to customize your own Jordan Brand gear and check out their Air Jordan retro collection that features some of your favorite retros colored in gold.

Serena Williams has dominated the world of women’s tennis in the same way that Michael Jordan dominated basketball during his prime, so it shouldn’t come as too big of a surprise that the Nike athlete will be getting her own Air Jordan 1 colorway in the near future. Today we get a first look at the upcoming Air Jordan 1 Serena Williams in a grade school size run, as the familiar colorway of Vivid Pink and Black come together featuring Serena’s signature logo stitched on the heel and tongue. The first-ever “team” model released after Jordan Brand began in 1997, the Jordan Jumpman Pro looks to be back for another retro run to celebrate its 20th birthday. Built with a similar design as the Air Jordan 12, its official Air Jordan contemporary from the same year, the Jumpman Pro features a full-grain leather upper with a Zoom-cushioned sole. Hopefully a better quality retro than the last time the shoe appeared in 2008 with poor leather and no carbon fiber shanks, it looks like the original black and red colorway previewed here does at least have translucent red outsoles like the original, as opposed to the solid rubber on the ’08 version. Along with the original black, red, and white colorway, we see two all-new versions in white/cement and “Cool Grey”.

Jordan Brand’s 2017 retro release slate kicked off this past weekend with one of the more unexpected bring-backs in quite some time: the stealth flight bomber-inspired Air Jordan 15. The all black woven style is definitely a polarizing way to kick off the new year for the Jumpman, but for those of you that wanted to wait to see what else the brand had in store for this January, this coming weekend another near all black retro will be releasing with the introduction of the Air Jordan 12 Low “Max Orange” on January 14th, 2017 for $170 USD.

The Air Jordan 12 Low is slated to have a big Spring 2017 season with a number of fresh colorways headed to retailers beginning with the Air Jordan 12 Low Max Orange. While this pair is nicknamed for the vibrant side panel stripe on the lower half of the silhouette, this particular colorway boasts a mostly Black and Anthracite appearance for a simple look perfect for any occasion. Scheduled to debut later this month will be the Air Jordan 8 Take Flight, as it’ll be one of the newest colorways of the silhouette to kick off Jordan Brand’s standout 2017 lineup.

Evoking a militaristic vibe, the sneaker’s aesthetic is essentially inspired from bomber jackets and fighter planes. Nubuck, along with the addition of neoprene for the very first time, comprises the overall silhouette, which is draped in sequoia green.

Black and wolf grey accents are implemented on the rear mudguard, tongue and sole unit, while pops of max orange adorn the chenille Jumpman-branded tongue patch and graphic detailing on the outsole to cap off the respective colorway.

Priced at $190, you can buy this pair at select JB and Nike retailers starting January 28th.

More of Jordan Brand’s 2017 lineup continues to be revealed, as this latest pair is suggested to be a player exclusive variation of the Air Jordan 1 for tennis superstar, Serena Williams.

Covered in a feminine palette, pink and black consists as the dominating tones, which is prominent on the basketball sneaker’s premium leather upper. A crisp white midsole unit offsets the bold design nicely, while other details include Serena Williams? logo on the tongue and heel to round out its respective theme.

Previewed just days earlier, this forthcoming silhouette is suggested to be the Air Jordan 4 Soar Blue, which consists as a brand new colorway of the silhouette, and it’s expected to debut sometime during Summer 2017.

Covered in a versatile palette of black, matte silver, white and soar blue — the classic basketball sneaker is comprised of black tumbled leather for its upper, with grey and white detailing prominent on the midsole unit and inner lining. The distinctive soar blue accent is implemented behind the tongue and outsole as a complementing touch, while also rounding out its overall color scheme.

With its retail price listed at $190, this pair is suggested to drop at select Nike and Jordan Brand retailers in May 2017.

When it comes to Jordan Brand the release (that we know about) that most people are looking forward to in 2017 is the return of the Air Jordan 1 Royal.

Today we take a first look at what are believed to be first images of the remastered 2017 version of the Royal 1s which features a new tumbled leather (similar to last year’s Bred/Banned 1s) on the blue portions of the shoe. The classic blue and black leather upper is then finished off with a white midsole, royal blue outsole, and the classic Nike Air branding on the tongue.

Back in 1997, Jordan Brand released the Jordan Jumpman Pro. To this day, many people consider this model one of the best Team Jordan silhouettes to ever drop. If you happen to be one of those people, we’ve got good news for you…It’s back!
