Jordan Brand’s 2016 was highlighted by a number of notable retro returns, a dedication to quality craftsmanship through their premium Pinnacle Series, and an ever-widening array of silhouettes featuring original ‘Nike Air’ branding. So what’s in store for the Jumpman’s 2017 catalog? While we already know a number of retro releases from January-March, perhaps one of the most anticipated drops will be this Air Jordan 4 Motorsports slated to release on March 26th in both adult and youth size runs.

The Air Jordan 4 Motorsports was originally released in 2006 as an homage to Michael Jordan Motorsports, a post-retirement competitive endeavor that saw Michael Jordan managing a motorcycle racing team. The original offering featured a Mars Blackmon logo on the heel panel for a nice added feature, but 2017’s retro skips out on that feature for a more general release vibe. Instead, we get a clean white leather base with Varsity Blue accents on the midsole, inner lining, and branding throughout. First previewed this past November, another teaser of the Air Jordan 31 Snakeskin has surfaced online, as a release date for the pair is suggested to be revealed soon.

Simply revamped for lifestyle appeal with its exotic makeover, the sneaker is comprised of grey suede for its upper, along with the defining snakeskin detailing prominent on the heel, Swooshes, tongue and heel.

Additionally, the enlarged Jumpman branding is replaced with the classic wings logo gracing its ankle collar, while it’s topped off with a solid white full-length rubber sole unit.

The Air Jordan 13 Black Cat consists as one of the silhouettes to kick-off JB’s 2017 lineup.

Simply inspired by the black panther, the basketball sneaker dons a stealthy black finish across its entire upper with 3M reflective detailing evident throughout. The respective theme is further evident on the insoles with a graphic, while the circular hologram on the heel and outsole simply mimics the panther?s eye with a greenish hue.

In addition, slight glossy accents are applied on its matching rubber sole unit to finish off the understated makeup.

Set to debut on January 21st, adult sizes are listed at $190 and previous reports suggest that it’ll be offered in full family sizing (GS, PS, TD, Crib) as well.

Jordan Brand has brought back an unexpected silhouette to kick off 2017 with the return of the Jordan Son Of Mars.

Making its debut at select retailers today is the Black Metallic colorway that you see above. This first offering of 2017 comes covered in a full Black leather upper with perforations on the ankle. Metallic Silver is then placed on the Jumpman logos on the tongue and heel, as well as on the shark teeth on the midsole.

The Air Jordan 1 Rare Air is a modified version of the Jordan 1. It varies by coming with alternate branding on the upper. The Air Jordan 1 Rare Air Max Orange comes with a leather upper done in White Black and Max Orange. Branding-wise, it has tonal Nike Air branding on the heel, ‘Air Jordan’ on the collar, and a Jumpman on the tongue.  A White midsole and Orange outsole complete the look of the shoe. Following the release of its official imagery, another look at the 2017 Air Jordan 11 Low Columbia is featured once again, as it’s noted to be part of JB’s Spring/Summer 2017 collection.

Originally seen back in 2001, this forthcoming variation is essentially a remastered pair. The defining light blueish tone is prominent across its patent leather component encompassing the profile, while white leather is utilized for the remainder of its upper and tongue. Finally, a matching white midsole unit and translucent outsole finishes off the clean design.

Rumors suggest that this model will be making its arrival at select Nike and JB stockists sometime during May 2017 for $175.

Jordan Brand recently released their brand new lifestyle model, the Jordan Eclipse Chukka. While doing so, it seems like they also plan on releasing GS exclusive colorways. One of the first GS colorways to drop, is seen above. Let’s get a closer look.

One thing worth mentioning about this first Jordan Eclipse Chukka GS, is the fact that the construction appears to be different from the adult pairs. Jordan Brand opts to remove the woven upper in favor of a shoe that comes with mesh-like textile paneling, and a toe/tongue that appears to be made out of some kind of neoprene. The EVA foam combined with the OrthoLite sockliner add comfort to the shoe. Out now at select retailers, pick up a pair of your own for $90.
