I don’t know about you, but when I put on a pair of slides/sandals the main objective is for me to rock something comfortable that looks (decently) stylish and is easy to take off and put on.

Adidas has given a new twist to the slide game with their new adidas Adilette Wood Slide. The traditional cushioning on this pair of slides has been replaced with a wooden platform that doesn’t look too comfortable. Adidas is calling this a “high fashion” look and has also added a new rippled rubber outsole.

This women’s adidas slide will be releasing some time in the near future. Is anyone looking to cop?

The adidas NMD has completely exploded since its wide release last month. When adidas released a plethora of colorways of the NMD on March 17th they sold more than 400,000 pairs on that day alone.

We’ve already seen a few different renditions of the NMD that utilize different cuts (low/mid) and materials (mesh, Primeknit, suede). Now we take a first look at a new Trail sample that you see above which comes in what looks like a mesh upper in off-white with blue and orange accents throughout. Where this pair differentiates itself from others is on the outsole where we see a new rugged trail outsole that has some ridges to it.

No release date exists yet for this sample adidas NMD Trail yet but we’ll keep you updated here at Kicks On Fire.

I’ve yet to own or try on a pair of NMDs so I’m not sure how different this sole would feel in comparison to the original. Strictly off look I prefer the original though.

Damian Lillard continues to put in work for the Portland Trailblazers this season as they now find themselves down only 2 games to 1 in their playoffs series against the defending champion Golden State Warriors. Game 4 takes place today and with Stephen Curry still out due to injury there’s a good chance that they can tie the series.

Since the playoffs began almost a month ago Lillard has been wearing the adidas D Lillard 2 Stay Ready which features a grey and black upper with Boost technology on the heel. As the series has shifted to Portland, adidas has placed a couple of “Never Doubt” billboards in the city to show their support for Dame. They’ve also announced that a portion of the proceeds from sales of the D Lillard 2 Stay Ready will benefit Janus Youth Programs, a Portland nonprofit that provides community-based services to enhance the quality of life for local families and children.

For those of you who would like to acquire some baby yeezys, Kim Kardashian recently announced on her TV show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians, that the highly-coveted adidas Yeezy 350 Boost silhouette will finally be offered in infant sizes later this summer.

A leaked image revealing which colorways to be offered has been provided as well, which will include the popular ?Pirate Black,? ?Turtle Dove,? and ?Beluga? finishes — with each suggested to retail at $120 each.

The adidas Originals Superstar is one the latest classic Three Stripes models to be blessed with the Primeknit treatment. We’ve seen several different colorways unveiled over the last couple of weeks, and today we add yet another one to the mix. Here is our first look at the adidas Originals Superstar Primeknit Frozen Blue.

The shoe comes constructed out of a Primeknit upper done in the aforementioned Frozen Blue colorway. The only parts on the shoe that are not done in Primeknit fashion are the shell toes, that’s it. White accents are placed on the tongue branding, Three Stripes branding, heel tab and of course the shell toe. The traditional white sole unit is placed under the upper to complete the aesthetics of the shoe. Arriving internationally, it’s only a matter of time before these drop stateside.

Fans of the adidas Originals Hamburg will be pleased to hear that new colorways of the silhouette are on the way. One of those said colorways is the one you see above coming in red and white color scheme. Let’s take a look at the on-feet shots of the shoe.

The Hamburg is made out of a suede construction done in a red colorway. The red suede is nicely offset by the white leather accents placed on the heel tab, tongue tag and the Three Stripes branding on the side panels. Giving the shoe a classic look is the gum sole unit. Never paid any mind to the model. The colorway is decent, mostly because of the gum sole, but it’s not enough to make me want to pick up a pair. I just feel like there’s better looking adidas models out there.

adidas is about to add another member to the family. Will it have the same success as the adidas NMD? Being that it doesn’t come with Boost technology, probably not. Regardless, today we get a first look at what is being called the adidas Alpha Bounce courtesy of the baltsneakershow.

This brand new silhouette, comes in low-top fashion. The first look at the shoe makes it seem like the upper is made out of some type of neoprene/mesh. In addition to the neoprene/mesh construction, the shoe also comes with grooves on the side. A two-toned print is placed on the heel and tongue to give the shoe some added contrast. Lastly and most importantly, the shoe comes with a BOUNCE midsole to help give you with energy throughout your entire wear. No word yet on when these will dropped but we will let you know as soon as we find out.

Not really sure what took adidas so long, but I guess it’s better late than never, right? Finally, an adidas Originals Stan Smith in a Triple Black colorway is finally happening. Let’s get a look at some on-feet images of this long-awaited colorway on a classic adidas Originals model.

The adidas Originals Stan Smith Triple Black is done a black leather upper. The tonal look is accompanied by the debossed adidas branding on the heel tab and tonal Stan Smith branding on the tongue. Perforations on the side panels act as the Three Stripes branding, while parts of the shoe such as the eyelets, lining, laces and sole unit all come in black to complete the tonal look of the shoe. It seems like Primeknit is being put on everything these days. We’ve seen it on basketball sneakers like the adidas Crazylight Boost 2.5 as well as lifestyle releases like the adidas Tubular X.

Even though we’ve already seen it land on the classic adidas Originals Superstar, today we take a look at some new colorways that have just released for the ladies. Coming in different color options that include Red, Black, and Blue, each pair comes outfitted with a full Primeknit upper as well as the signature rubber shell toe in white. It was a banner year for the adidas Originals lineup, but the three stripe’s hoops imprint is still struggling to find an identity even after signing James Harden to that ludicrous $200 million deal. Perhaps part of the reason for the adidas Hoops is still finding its way was the Rockets’ tumultuous season, one in which the team – new signee James Harden included – looked like they couldn’t be more ready to be bounced from the playoffs and start their summer vacations early. Regardless, adidas had no other choice but to stick to their release schedule and drop this ill-timed adidas Crazylight Boost 2.5 James Harden Playoff PE after the bearded wonder checked out for the season. Like Harden, the Crazylight Boost is undoubtedly a quality performer, just with a lack of the much-needed cool cachet to translate over to the lifestyle market like the three stripe’s NMD and Tubular designs have successfully done. A simple black and white colorway sees accents of Houston’s red while Boost technology adds a comfortable and supportive ride, all for just $130 USD. What will next season hold for Harden and adidas? While a signature model seems imminent, after a disappointing first year together James and the three stripes still have a lot to prove.
