Author’s Take

This shade of blue is pretty clean to rock right now. I’ve heard good and bad things about the model as of late. One being that it’s not as comfortable as other Boost models such as the Pure and Ultra. I’ma have to try them on myself before I make a decision.

Ever since it debuted in December 2015, the adidas NMD R1 has been the hottest sneaker on the market. Certainly one of the popular silhouettes as of late, adidas NMD R1 is introduced in another favorable colorway for Spring 2016.

All resting atop a clean white sole unit with matching EVA inserts to cap off its simplistic two-tone color scheme, you can find this pair at select adidas retailers worldwide now.

I?m a fan of the tonal finish and the silhouette in general. Although, I would have preferred the three stripe TPU system applied on the silhouette instead. I do like how it looks in this colorway.

ADIDAS NMDS 1 ADIDAS NMDS 2 ADIDAS NMDS 3 ADIDAS NMDS 4 ADIDAS NMDS 5 ADIDAS NMDS 6

Heads up, two new women’s colorways of the adidas NMD have just arrived at select retailers.

The two colorways that you see above are beginning to arrive at select adidas Originals retailers in the US. Both pairs feature tonal uppers with one done in Salmon and the other in Cream/Off-White. It should also be noted that these pairs are composed of mesh uppers and not Primeknit. Both pairs are contrasted by white Boost midsole with the traditional EVA inserts on them. Retail price is $140.

These won’t last long so if you’d like a pair don’t sleep. Be on the lookout for more adidas retailers to also start carrying these colorways in the near future.

Author’s Take

I’d have no problem wearing either colorway. If I had to pick one pair I would go with the cream pair cause it would be easier to wear.

We haven’t seen too many crazy customs when it comes to the adidas Ultra Boost, but Kendra’s Customs cahnes that with her latest work of art.

She took the popular runner from adidas and gave it this 1 of 1 Bape Camo custom look. The entire Primeknit upper on this Ultra Boost has been covered in a Purple/Fuchsia camo print with Bape branding landing on the toe of both sneakers. The heel counter is done in blue while the boost midsole has been left on the traditional white.

Kendra says that these Bape x Ultra Boost customs are a 1 of 1 in this colorway but if you’d like something similar or your own design you can hit her up on Instagram to get in contact with her. What are your thoughts on this custom?

This is not the first pair of Ultra Boosts that she has customized, Kendra did a dope mint version earlier this year.

Author’s Take

I’ve seen Kendra’s work before and I’m a big fan of hers. Even though I’m not really a fan of purple sneakers, I think she killed this custom pair of Ultra Boosts. She does some amazing work when it comes to painting and artwork on sneakers.
