How do you undermine the release of one of the most popular Air Jordans of all time? In 2016, the answer to that would have been “drop a Yeezy” on the same weekend. But thanks to a super limited release of a model that is starting to gain in popularity in the Air Jordan XX3, it looks like some sneakerheads might be distracted on their way to the Flu Game 12s. That’s good news for those who only want the Flu Games, but if you live overseas, you might see that your options are a little tougher, as two highly anticipated adidas NMDs are dropping (or have dropped depending on when you read this) as well.
Air Jordan 12 Flu Game

Juan Martinez, Editor-In-Chief: (GOT ‘EM) It deserves all the hype and praise it gets. Is it better than the OG and the subsequent retros? I don’t know and quite honestly, I don’t care at this point. It’s a pair I’ve wanted for a long time, the quality is where it needs to be and now I have it. Zero complaints.
Renz Ofiaza, News: (BUY) I briefly owned the 2009 pair, but I’ve been looking forward to its OG release. Hopefully stock won’t be that limited since full family sizes are offered as well.
Juan Carrillo, News: (BUY) It’s a toss up between these and the French Blues when it comes to which is the best colorway of the Air Jordan 12. Either way, this is considered one of the best Jordan drops of the year. I’ll take one please.
Andres Carrillo, News: (BUY) I picked up the Air Jordan 12 French Blue and I was extremely happy with those. These Flu Games look even better! Cant’ wait to pick these up.
adidas NMD White (Worldwide Everywhere Except The U.S.)

EIC Juan: (PASS) They look great and if I lived in a world where dirt didn’t exist, I would totally buy a pair. But I don’t live in that world and combine that with my loathing for dirt marks (I’ve made my peace with white Boost soles) on my kicks and it’s a pass.
Renz: (BUY) I’ve been a fan of the silhouette since its inception. I missed out on the OG black pair so hopefully my luck will change once it arrives in the U.S. (If I miss out overseas).
News Juan: (PASS) Sure, the all-White pair is clean, when new. After a few wears, dirt and dust begin to pile, then you end up having beige colored NMDs. This shoe it too high maintenance for me to get a pair. It’s a pass.
Andres: (PASS) Even though these white NMDs only release overseas for now, they’re a pass for me. I just can’t do white Primeknit/Flyknit sneakers. Too hard to keep clean.
adidas NMD City Sock (Ditto)

EIC Juan: (WAIT) I need to try them on before I can cop. The upper reminds me of the Tubular Primeknit sans the cage and if the two are comparable comfort and fit wise, then these become a must-buy.
Renz: (BUY) I do admire the chukka-esque design. In this colorway, it’s pretty versatile and stylish. I just really like the clean, minimalist look altogether.
News Juan: (PASS) The City Sock version of the NMD is not a style I’m particularly fond of. It literally looks like a sock to me. It’s not really my kind of shoe, especially at that price.
Andres: (PASS) I haven’t picked up a pair of NMDs yet but when I do I don’t think it’ll be a City Sock version. Unless these look so much better in person, I can’t see myself rocking a pair.
Air Jordan XX3 Trophy Room Black

EIC Juan: (BUY) It’s black, white and gold, what’s not to love? I will admit to being dead wrong about the Air Jordan XX3 as the model has (wait for it…) grown on me (ugh…). Now I’m on a vision quest to cop as many pairs as I can. This one is a long shot since they’re super limited, but one can hope, right?
Renz: (PASS) Years ago, I never paid attention to this silhouette. I guess as time passes and my taste palette changes, I appreciate it a bit more. I think the design is pretty solid but I’m not a fan of the patterned upper.
News Juan: (BUY) Before the Jordan 23 was announced that it was going to release, I was already searching for a pair of old colorways online. I’ve always liked this model and was looking to scoop up a pair at a discounted price. Seeing that these are $275, my plan will continue to search for a Jordan 23 online at a far more reasonable price. I just want a Jordan 23, it doesn’t have to be in this colorway.
Andres: (PASS) The Air Jordan 23 is one of those Air Jordan silhouettes that I’ve always admired from afar because of how expensive and hard it is to find a pair in good condition. $275 for these? Nah, I’m good. Plus what’s the chance of me even being able to grab a pair at retail. Slim to none.
Under Armour Curry Two Red, White And Blue

EIC Juan: (WAIT) We’re just now starting to see some Currys sit on shelves and this will be a great cop when it drops in price. Kind of wish it was done in the low-cut style though so I can wear them casually as well. Yeah, I wear Currys casually, what?
Renz: (PASS) I like the silhouette but I haven’t been really tempted to purchase the pair, aside from the upcoming black/gold colorway from the MVP Back 2 Back pack. The overall theme on this pair is solid though.
News Juan: (WAIT) One of the nicer colorways I’ve seen on the UA Curry Two. The Red, White and Blue look is done right on the shoe. I don’t see these selling out, so I’ma take a risk and see if I can grab them under $100.
Andres: (PASS) A little early for the 4th of July/USA themed sneakers isn’t it? We’re still in May! Not a bad colorway of the Curry Two but I’m jut not real big on red, white and blue kicks.
