adidas Hoops is taking their basketball models to an interesting place this upcoming season with a number of unique looks on the horizon for 2016-2017. Next up is the adidas D Rose 7 Boost, a premium offering that pairs Primeknit with full-length Boost cushioning on the midsole, angular supportive overlays, and a Crazylight Boost-like outsole unit that stresses a strange traction pattern to better help quick cuts to the basket. With Derrick Rose relocating to New York for at least a season, the change of scenery could help revamp his career and give people a new narrative to follow after struggling with injuries the past few years in his native Chicago. And while Andrew Wiggins’ upcoming adidas Crazy Explosive took a Chef Curry-like beating on the internet not too long ago, it will be interesting to see how the world reacts to Derrick Rose’s latest silhouette with his change of city. Finish Line could not be more happier that they are a retail partner of adidas! Why? They just reported that they have surged the most it has in the past 7 years. They managed to surpass the  first-quarter expectations.

Finish Line CEO Sam Sato mentioned that adidas was one of the main reasons Finish Line is increasing their business.

?We continue to experience explosive growth in our Adidas business, The Adi brand itself has a ton of momentum. The excitement around that brand globally is very high, and it?s no different in the States.?

Popular shoes such as the Ultra Boost, NMD ans Stan Smith have all had a helping hand in the current success of Finish Line. Bloomberg also reports that Finish Line defied a global stock market rout this week, going up as much as 21% in wake of the U.K.’s Brexit. This increase marked their largest intraday gain since December 2008. Finish Line is pretty pumped about this considering that they recently decided to closer many of their stores due to poor quarter reports.

The adidas NMD is arguably the biggest model of the first half of 2016. The hype for the shoe was unreal and the shoe continues to steadily sell very well. So what’s next for the model? How about a adidas NMD R2?

White Mountaineering previewed a brand new adidas model during a recent Paris Fashion Week showcase. The shoe is said to be the adidas NMD R2. The model is considered to be an evolution of the original NMD while rocking a whole new style on the upper. Th NMD R2 comes dressed in a Primeknit upper. A new feature on the shoe is the Three Stripes branding placed on the toe box opposed to seeing it on the side panels. Boost tech remains on the sole, while only a single stabilizer is spotted on the medial side of the shoe. No word yet on when these will drop, but we will be sure to let you know as soon as we find out.

Today we get our best look yet at the adidas Y-3 Qasa Hi Vista Grey. Opting to take the subtle route this time around, the shoe dons a tonal Vista grey upper that evoked a sweet and sophisticated look.

The Qasa-Hi consists of a neoprene wrapped upper accompanied by a nubuck heel counter and a suede toecap. All these materials put together result in a premium look and feel. The all-Grey shoe comes with minimal branding as it’s found on the midsole and heel. Available now at select retailers, is this a shoe you’d like to pick up?

This latest Barneys x adidas Originals collaboration is said to be the second installment of its BNY Sole Series. Barneys New York has gotten together with adidas to release a special pack consisting of the Stan Smith and Superstar.

Both models don an exclusive look in which a modern motif is utilized on the vintage sneakers. Both pairs are trimmed down by removing the stitching and embellishments. The end result is a much sleeker and smooth looking upper. A White premium leather is utilized on the upper, while a laser-cut is used to add Gold Stan Smith and Superstar branding. Additional features on the shoe are things such as the unlined interior on the Stan Smith and the leather shell toe on the Superstar. Available now for in men and women sizes, pick up either pair today for $150 exclusively at Barney’s online store and New York locations.

The adidas Y-3 line already has an extensive selection of sneaker to choose from. Although that may be the case, they’re just added anther high-top sneaker to their portfolio. Let’s get a closer look at what’s being called the adidas Y-3 NOCI 003.

Right off the bat you can tell that the NOCI 003 is not your ordinary looking sneaker (What Y-3 sneaker is, right?). The ultra high top comes with an array of zippers, laces and elastic bands to help construct the aesthetics of the shoe. The actual base of the shoe is made out of premium leather and mesh. Black and Red take care of the upper, while White is placed on the midsole. You like it? Hate it? Derrick Rose has been a member of the New York Knicks for less than one week, and adidas is already unveiling colorways of the adidas D Rose 7 that match up perfectly with New York Knicks jerseys. Today we take a look at a D Rose 7 rocking a bold and vibrant Orange upper.

The D Rose 7 comes with a Orange Primeknit upper contrasted by the White hits placed on the adidas branding and Boost midsole. Below you will find an icy translucent outsole to go along with the rest of the shoe. If only the shoe had some Blue on it, then everybody would definitely be calling these the D Rose 7 Knicks. Being that a Black and White colorway is so simple and classic on a sneaker, it’s hard for me to believe that adidas had not released an adidas Tubular Radial rocking that look. That recently changed as the model has been spotted rocking the timeless motif.

The adidas Tubular Radial comes with a Black base constructed out of neoprene and suede. The tonal look of the shoe is contrasted by the White accents placed on the heel and tongue branding, Tubular sole and the dotted laces. Definitely one of the most simple colorways on the model, but it’s also one of the most versatile. You can’t go wrong with this color. Available now, are you picking up a pair?

I love the look of the shoe, and this colorway is definitely a good look. Only problem is that I’m not a very big fan of the comfort of the Tubular sole. That’s more than enough reason for me to pass up on this model.

Adidas Originals will be releasing the classic Gazelle silhouette in a new collection known as the Full Grains Pack.

The collection includes two colorways of the Gazelle outfitted in a tumbled full-grain leather upper done in white with either green or blue suede accents on the three stripes branding and heel tab. Finishing details include a goatskin inner liner, and a translucent gum sole.

Wow, that leather upper looks real nice. The suede detailing and the translucent gum sole also give the shoe a classic look that makes them easy to wear. Great job by adidas on these Gazelles.
