adidas Launched The adidas Dame 3 Rip City Today

Damian Lillard’s third signature shoe with adidas released this morning. To help tip off the debut of the shoe, adidas debuts a new film titled ‘ALL RISE’ that stays true to Damian Lillard’s journey from Oakland to the NBA and also illustrates his message of lifting communities through hard work and creativity.

“If you feel like you’re down right now, rise up. Even if you’ve made it to a certain level, rise higher,” Dame said. “I can relate to a lot of people because of my journey, and I can inspire that change and help others rise up. I want to encourage others to do the same thing, wherever you are, and find ways to make a difference.”

Dame D.O.L.L.A.’s (Damian Lillard’s rapper name) song “Hero” reinforces the ‘ALL RISE’ message. It is co-written and produced by fellow Bay Area native Raphael Saadiq. The film also co-stars two creators in hoops training, Devin Williams and Paul Fabritz

The adidas Dame 3 Rip City launched today for the retail price of $115 at adidas.

If you happen to be in the area, fans in Portland can check out an exclusive Dame 3 themed pop-up experience tomorrow (Friday 1/20) from 3-10pm at 1307 NW Overton St., Portland, OR 97209. US Stores Are Releasing Their adidas NMD OG Pairs Now

The official January 14th release date for the adidas NMD OG was a bit in shambles as multiple retailers in the US did not get their shipments in time. Throughout the week, we’ve seen sporadic releases of the NMD shoes at spots like UBIQ, Rise, Bodega, Extra Butter, and BBC, and it appears that other well-known spots such as Rock City Kicks, Packer Shoes (in-store raffle), BAIT, and others are getting their pairs in. Stock is limited so releases will likely be via a raffle of some kind, so check with your local shops if you’re still in the hunt for the adidas NMD OG.

Available Now: adidas Pure Boost Core Black Running White

For those of you who forgot, the newest version of the adidas Pure Boost made its debut earlier today. The first colorway to drop was the Core Black and Running White you see above, also simply known as the Oreo colorway.

The first couple of versions of the Pure Boost were not considered performance or running models, but this new iteration of the model appears to be more than equipped to get down and dirty. Features such as the thick rubber STRETCHWEB outsole, the FITCOUNTER molded heel counter, the unique tongue construction with double-folded material and the progressive lacing for an easy instep and low pressure on foot all make it a great running shoe. The shoe appears to be sole out already at adidas, but expect a restock as well as new colorways to drop soon and often. Retail price is set at $140.

adidas Re-interprets Doggystyle And Much More In Latest Original Is Never Finished Video

If you push something far enough, it becomes original again. That’s the central thesis of this new video directed by Johannes Leonardo for adidas Originals, which features transcendent icons of music, sports, and fashion handing down their global influence to the new generation of stars. This short film, ninety seconds of sensory overload, features re-interpretations of several cultural classics, from Snoop Dogg’s Doggystyle album artwork to Frank Sinatra’s “My Way”. adidas Originals has done the same with their footwear; the massively popular NMD is, of course, inspired by past icons of the adidas footwear archive, while the new adidas EQT line transforms the original focus from the 90s to fit today’s scene. The full video is just below.
