The adidas Originals New York Surfaces In New Colorways

It’s been a cool minute since we had covered a new flavor of the adidas Originals New York, but today we provide not just one, but two different colorways to choose from.

The adidas Originals New York is a classic model done with a mesh constructed upper paired up with the nubuck overlays. Standout features on the shoe include the TPU D-ring eyelets, the leather lining and heel tab, the razor-edged leather 3-Stripes, the New York branding on side panels, the Webbing-wrapped EVA midsole and the rubber outsole. Coming in your choice of Granite or Tactile Green, both pairs are accented by the White on the Three Stripes and heel, and the Off-White on the midsole. Out now, pick up either pair from select retailers for $100.

OG Vibes On This Upcoming adidas NMD R1

This new colorway of the adidas NMD R1 may look pretty familiar to those of you that have been on the NMD wave since the beginning. That’s because the color scheme strongly resembles the “Key City” Consortium NMD Primeknit pair that released back in 2015.

This NMD R1 features a Core Black stretch mesh on the upper with additional hits of black on the heel, inner liner, and the 3M three stripes on the side panels. Grey has then been placed on the EVA inserts on the midsole and on the rubber outsole, while a white Boost midsole wraps up the look.

Take a look at the official images above and look for this black/grey colorway of the adidas NMD R1 to release in the Summer of 2017. Stay tuned to Kicks On Fire for updates.

adidas Adds Ultra Boost Soles To The Nemeziz Tango 17+

We’re fresh off a massive KITH x adidas Soccer Collection that included a number of somewhat unfamiliar soccer silhouettes repurposed with Boost cushioning to bring soccer performance to the streets. Apparently adidas saw the looming success of that capsule collection because they’ve been busy updating even more soccer boots with Ultra Boost tooling like with this adidas Nemeziz Tango 17+ Boost. According to Yeezy Mafia, this White/Black option will release in a limited run of just 2000 pairs tomorrow, June 7th exclusively in Europe. If you’re not a fan of this Zebra-esque color combination, there should be an all-black pair releasing in the near future too. Stay tuned for more updates regarding this adidas Soccer x Ultra Boost crossover right here on Sneaker News.

This Upcoming adidas NMD R1 Resembles The First Consortium Release

Remember the original adidas Consortium NMD R1 that released in December 2015 alongside the “OG” colorway? Although it was overshadowed by the blue and red accented original NMD when the shoe made its grand entrance, now it’s one of the most sought-after and highest-priced NMD’s on the secondary market. For those still after a pair, perhaps these will be an acceptable?and much cheaper?alternative. The hottest sneaker silhouette on Earth arrives in a look quite similar to the original “Key to the City” colorway by adidas Consortium, featuring a black Primeknit upper with black reflective stripes and grey midsole inserts. While this GR version has less reflective detailing than the OG Consortium release, the similarities between the two are certainly enough to make these a must-have for NMD aficionados. Check out the official images here, and stick with Sneaker News for a confirmed release date.

Remember that good news last week of a restock for the “Zebra” adidas Yeezy Boost 350 v2? Well, it turns out you may not want to get too excited yet, as the release is apparently postponed according to Yeezy fan site Yeezy Talk Worldwide. There’s been all kinds of shake ups in the adidas Yeezy release schedule lately, after it was first reported that the “Dark Green” colorway was postponed and the Zebra restock would take its place on June 24th. For what it’s, Yeezy Mafia says this re-stock postponement is false information, so we’ll have to wait and see. Stay tuned to Sneaker News for all the latest Yeezy updates.
