KITH Is Releasing The adidas ACE 16+ Ultra Boost In Pink

KITH and adidas hooked up late last year for the first-ever Ultra Boost Mid, with a colorful Primeknit upper inspired by ski culture in Aspen acting as the muse to that must-have release. It appears that KITH and adidas are connecting once again, this time on the ACE 16+ Ultra Boost; instead of a multi-colored upper, Ronnie Fieg opts for the soft Vapour Pink – a tone you probably spotted on the adidas NMD R1. The shoes appear to come packaged in a special pink box as well. A release date isn’t known just yet, so stay tuned for updates.

James Harden, The Other Triple-Double Machine, Gets New adidas Signature Shoe Colorway

James Harden and adidas Basketball light it up with the new “Red Glare” colorway of the Harden Vol. 1. Russell Westbrook is getting so much shine for his many triple doubles this season that James Harden is actually getting a bit overlooked for his own impressive tally of the not-so-easily-attainable statistic, even despite having more 40-point triple doubles than his former teammate in Oklahoma City. In fact, Harden has had more triple doubles with 40 points or more than any player in NBA history for a single season.

Indeed, he is lighting up the scoreboard every way possible, and that’s where this new colorway of the Harden Vol. 1 comes in. The shoe features a vibrant all-red colorway with a pixelated pattern on the knit upper contrasted with a neon red leather toe panel and translucent outsole. The Rockets “Red Glare” colorway drops April 7th at adidas.com and select adidas basketball suppliers.

Release Info On The adidas Iniki Runner Boost Pride Of The 70s

Another colorway of the adidas Iniki Runner Boost is on the way, and this one is known as the adidas Iniki Runner Boost Pride Of The 70s. Said to pay homage to the 1970’s running era, this new colorway comes mesh and suede upper done in subtle shades of Footwear White/Light Grey offset by the vibrant hits of Cored Red and Blue noted on the outsole, heel and Three Stripes. What really makes the adidas Iniki Runner Boost so dope is the fact that the uppers has a very vintage and old school look to it, but the use of the Boost tech on the midsole gives the classic look of the sneaker a modern and super comfortable feel. If you’re diggin’ this colorway, you’ll be able to pick it up on April 20th for $120 directly from adidas.com.

An On-Feet Look At The adidas Originals Stan Smith Chalk White

As most of you know by now, adidas recently dropped a Stan Smith with Boost on it. What does that mean for the original Stan Smith model? Nothing! The adidas Originals Stan Smith is as classic as it gets and will continue to release new colorways regardless of how many advanced versions of the model adidas drops. With that being said, here’s a first look at the adidas Originals Stan Smith Chalk White.

The adidas Originals Stan Smith Chalk White comes with a clean Light Brown leather upper with just a bit of suede done in the same shade on the heel tab. Minimal features on the upper include the perforated Three Stripes on the side panels, the Orange inner liner, White laces and the branding hits on the tongue, heel and next to the Three Stripes. Lastly, a White rubber sole completes the major traits of the shoe. Already available internationally, we hope to see these stateside sooner rather than later.

As you may recall, the shoes first dropped exclusively at Office in the UK and eventually released on adidas.com in the shameless “Best of BOOST” event on the eve of Air Max Day. KoF Live: The Great adidas 7-Sneaker Unboxing Of 2017 (Video)

This is what happens when things show up at the office at the same time. Between adidas Running sending us Ultra Boosts and alphaBounces to get us ready for some springtime running and training, Originals hooking us up with a variety of kicks during our trip to Portland, and catching up on various seeding packages, it made for a busy and longer unboxing video than usual. But it also shows you how far the three stripes has come in the past few years.

As recently as 2014, packages from adidas coming together at the same time was rare. Not because the brand wasn’t about promoting their products, but rather they didn’t deliver hype-wise, which is key in to sneaker culture. A few smart moves later, like the emergence of Boost, the embrace by the fashion world of the Stan Smith, the signing of James Harden to be the face of the brand, and the reimagining of EQT for a modern audience, helped adidas regain their footing not only among the general population but with the tastemakers and influencers as well. I’m not one to stroke my ego and say that Kicks On Fire influences anybody, but we can say with confidence that the brand is hitting a stride with consistent hits that we haven’t seen in a very long time. Now they just need to bring back the Lendl and Edberg (maybe with Boost) and we’ll consider this comeback complete.

The adidas Iniki Boost Returns Home With Pride of the 70s

adidas Originals has found a groove in revamping old-school models with full-length Boost cushioning. We’ve seen that replicated throughout the remixed adidas EQT lineup, but perhaps the latest and greatest update championing that thought process is the adidas Iniki Boost. The Iniki Boost Runner takes inspiration from the golden era of original three stripes running models in the 70s and 80s and updates that aesthetic with a slim, slip-on upper, Boost cushioning, and taped three stripe branding to match OG suede inspirations on the heel, toecap, and, and lacing system.

Today we get a look at the latest colorway, known as the Iniki Runner Boost “Pride of the 70s” thanks to its retro-inspired use of light grey, tan, red, and blue accents throughout for a throwback to a simpler time. What results is a colorway that should be perfect to wear with any wardrobe selection given the subdued tonal style and vibrant accents on the three stripe branding and outsole. It’s the perfect combination of both old and new. Check out an alternate angle below and know that the “Pride of the 70s” colorway will be available on April 20th from adidas.com for $120 USD.
