Releasing in a couple of days, here is an official look at the adidas Aloha Super Karol Winthorp.

This ?Karol Winthorp? colorway of the model is inspired by archival influences rooted in the classic 2006 video, ?Krooked Kronichles? by Krooked Skateboards featuring Mark Gonzales under the pseudonym ?Karol Winthorp? ? famed casting director of the legendary street skateboarding film ? and acclaimed director Adam Spiegel as ?Spike Jonze.? Both aliases first appeared together in the seminal ?Video Days? skate film produced by Blind Skateboards in 1991.

When the duo later reunited for ?Krooked Kronichles,? they revived their aliases that led to the iconic shots of Gonzales filming Spiegel wandering the streets of San Francisco and Los Angeles in a pair of all brown men?s dress shoes. Today, Karol Winthorp re-emerges to immortalize the legacy of the timeless moment captured through the custom Aloha Super silhouette.

The Aloha Super ?Karol Winthorp? arrives in premium nubuck upper with full grain leather accents and collar lining. The archival mesh tongue provides ultimate breathability, while a semi translucent, gum rubber outsole offers long lasting durability and precision crafted grip. It is being reported that adidas will be releasing a Miami Hurricanes iteration of the adidas Ultra 4D.

The adidas Ultra 4D Miami Hurricanes will come dressed in a Collegiate Green, Footwear White, and Collegiate Orange color scheme. No images of the shoe have leaked, but the shoe is expected to feature a Green and Orange Primeknit upper with a striking Orange heel counter. Other details include a Green lace cage with White Three Stripes and a White 4D-printed midsole atop a Black rubber outsole.
