The 2020 reissued version of the adidas Top Ten 2000 comes dressed in an official color scheme listed as Footwear White/Tech Indigo-Legacy Red. Details on the shoe include the signature synthetic upper with three midfoot straps atop a herringbone outsole.

The adidas Top Ten 2000 is now available in Japan, while a stateside release appears to be imminent on adidas.com.

The adidas Originals by Noah Collection Drops This Month

For decades, adidas has continually pushed the boundaries of design by working with pioneers in the fashion world. Continuing in this vein, the adidas has joined forces with heralded New York label Noah in a collaborative collection spanning both performance and trefoil-branded products. Merging Noah?s blend of influences with adidas? sporting heritage, the collection is simultaneously a celebration of performance running technology and archival aesthetics.

Rooted in his memories growing up on Long Island and venturing into New York City as a teen, Noah founder Brendon Babenzien?s label fuses disparate styles including skate, prep, nautical and classic menswear to create a label that?s consistently elevated. At the heart of the collaboration is an appreciation for, and a celebration of, the oceans. Both footwear silhouettes on offer feature Primeblue. Primeblue is a high-performance recycled material made in part with Parley Ocean Plastic? upcycled plastic waste, intercepted on remote islands, beaches, coastal communities and shorelines, preventing it from polluting our ocean. This theme extends to a poignant shell-graphic which features throughout the lifestyle offering of the collection. Drawing attention to the devastation that has been done to the shellfishing industry on Long Island and a rise in sea temperatures, the graphic serves as a call to arms for society to pay greater respect to our seas.

Made for before and after sport, the lifestyle part of the collection features Noah?s understated take on a number of iconic trefoil-branded products. Starting with footwear, this part of the collection sees Noah revitalise two classic colourways of the archival SL72 silhouette with 82% recycled Prime Blue knitted uppers. Moving onto apparel, the collection is made up of a french terry crewneck sweatshirt, tee-shirt, and shorts, all comprised of 30% recycled fabrics and featuring a seashell graphic. Finally, rounding off this part of the collection are a seashell graphic shoulder bag and a pack of 3 of co-branded cotton socks.

Inspired by Brendon?s passion for running, the next part of the collection features performance focussed apparel and footwear. Beginning with apparel, the performance side of the collection consists of a running jacket a pair of running shorts, and a running cap, all made of 100% recycled polyester and featuring a specially crafted madras print that is unique to the collaboration. Then, taking inspiration from the original SL72 sneaker, the footwear offering features two colourways of the brand new SL20 lightweight running silhouette. Comprised of 82% Primeblue knitted upper atop a performance tested midsole, this newly crafted silhouette is the perfect coming together of adidas? relentless pursuit of innovation and Noah?s various cultural influences.

Launching globally on August 27th, the adidas Originals by Noah collection is available on adidas.com and exclusively on Confirmed in NAM.
