Last year, Gucci and adidas teamed up for the very first time to drop a huge collaboration that ended being one of brand’s best collabs of 2022. For 2023, both companies will be teaming up once more for yet another collaboration, this time highlighted by collaborative iterations of the ZX8000.

The upcoming Gucci x adidas 2023 Collection was first shown  on the runway back in 2022. Made up of apparel and footwear, the collaboration sees classic Three Stripes silhouettes through the lens of the luxury power house, much like it did with the 2022 collection. Previewed below, the Gucci x adidas 2023 Collection will once again features the adidas Gazelle in brand new colorways that are just as bold and head turning as the ones offered in last year’s collection. This year’s collection will also include the aforementioned ZX8000, a brand new addition to the partnership. Much like the Gazelle, the ZX8000 opts for a similar aesthetic while also interweaving nods to its OG look and feel.

adidas Originals teams up with Finnish design house Marimekko for a collaborative offering of the iconic adidas Superstar. Designed exclusively in women’s sizing, this adidas Superstar features a Cloud White leather construction on the upper with a bold print from the Finnish design house seen on the three stripes branding on the side panels and heel tabs. Additional details include co-branded tongues and insoles, adidas and Superstar branding on the heels and side panels, and a white rubber sole unit. Look for this women’s Marimekko x adidas Superstar to release via adidas.com and select retailers on April 1st for a price tag of $105.

adidas Originals will be teaming up with Korean streetwear stores, Kasina, and renowned illustrator Kim Jung Gi to release this special collaborative iteration of the adidas Campus.

Shown below, the Kasina x Kim Jung Gi x adidas Campus comes dressed in a Hazy Yellow, Core Black, and Cream White color scheme. Opting for a unique look and feel, this Campus allows you to step into the mind of the Korean artist while also serving as tribute to Kim Jung Gi and his legacy as an artist to strive and inspire the upcoming generation of creators in the world. Design details include a Hazy Yellow leather upper covered in illustrations (that extends down to the midsole) on both the lateral and medial side of the sneaker. Other details include Three Stripes branding done in two different finishes consisting of a Black suede on the lateral and Grey hairy suede on the medial. Other details include White leather used on the heel tabs, tongues and lining, Hazy Yellow laces and an Off-White midsole.

In Jordan Brand news, the Nike SB X Air Jordan 4 Pine Green drops on SNKRS on March 21st.

Earlier this year adidas and Yohji Yamamoto introduced the world to the brand?s new pinnacle expression: Y-3 Atelier. Spotlighting an approach to production driven by craftsmanship, skill, and undeterred dedication, this season, the brand with the Three Stripes and the renegade Japanese designer present the first footwear offering from their experimental new line: the adidas Y-3 ITOGO.

Fearlessly pushing the boundaries of contemporary footwear, the Y-3 ITOGO is crafted from only five components, each being highlighted on the shoe by number:
1. Elastic Straps
2. Knitted Upper
3. Boost Midsole
4. Rubber Cupsole
5. Thread

Designed as a provocation to rethink the lifecycle of footwear, and forgoing the use of glue, each component is then assembled using a hand-stitched process ? resulting in a silhouette that can be fully dismantled if the owner decides to cut the threads. A nod to its innovative assembly, the Y-3 ITOGO moniker is derived from a carefully considered combination of the Japanese word for ?Thread? ? ?Ito? ? and ?Five? ? ?Go?. Arriving on March 16th in two monochromatic colorways, the Y-3 ITOGO is available globally at adidas.com/y-3, on CONFIRMED, in store, and through select retailers for a price tag of $600.

SNIPES has teamed up with adidas Originals to release a special iteration of the adidas Forum Low that honors the city of Detroit.

Dropping today, 313 Day, the adidas Forum Low Detroit is a snipes exclusive that comes dressed in Michigan colors (White, Navy, Maize) consisting of a White tear-away upper revealing a secondary layer that features the Detroit skyline. Other notable details includes the ?313? embroidery on the lateral heel and on the lace dubraes. You also have ?Raised From Concrete? stamped onto the insoles, while a hidden message on the underside of the cross-strap reads, ?I Am Detroit?.

Celebrating the release of this sneaker, SNIPES is hosting a 313 Day Jit & Breakin? Competition, with $2,000 prize money on the line. The event will also feature Detroit Jit vs Chicago Footwork Exhibition Battle with some of the midwest?s best dancers. The adidas Forum Low Detroit will release via SNIPES online and in-store at the 313 Day Dance competition in Detroit on March 13th for the retail price of $120. RSVP for the event via SNIPESUSA.com.

In Nike news, the Nike Air Max 1 Baltic Blue drops on March 17th.

Following a look at the upcoming adidas NMD S1 Bliss Orange, another spring/summertime colorway of the new NMD model from the three stripes as this pair comes with some Miami Dolphins vibes. This adidas NMD S1 features recycled materials on the upper as the sneaker is highlighted by a knitted, sock-like upper in White. To break up the all-white look we see teal and orange on the heels and midsole. Three stripes branding on the side panels, more adidas branding on the thick gel midsole, and a rugged rubber outsole with adidas trefoil logos rounds out the look on this adidas NMD S1 that will be releasing in the coming weeks for $180.

Now available overseas, here is an official look at the adidas NMD S1 in the Bliss Orange colorway.

A great option for the spring season, this adidas NMD S1 comes dressed in a mix of Bliss Orange and Wonder Taupe. The eco conscious kicks are constructed out of recycled materials that feature a knitted, sock-like upper  equipped with a new reworked sole unit. Worth mentioning, this NMD does not come with Boost tech on the soles as it is replaced with a bulky, thick gel sole with traction teeth appearing on the outsole. Also, the original EVA foam plugs have been replaced with a new slimmer version on the forefoot and heel.

The adidas NMD S1 Bliss Orange retails for $180. Now available at select international retailers, look for them to arrive stateside in the very near future.

Hello Kitty will be dropping another sneaker collaboration this year. This time is with none other than adidas. Dropping stateside soon, here is an official look at the Hello Kitty x adidas Stan Smith.

This fresh take on the Stan Smith comes dressed in a Cloud White, Core Black, and Light Flash Red color scheme. The majority of the sneaker opts for a clean, subtle and versatile look, with the exception of the large Hello Kitty pouches sitting right on top of the laces. Other details worth mentioning include the Hello Kitty logo replacing the usual Stan Smith on the lateral side, whereas the fuzzy heel patch and perforated Three Stripes remain true to the original. Another bold feature it is the colorful lining consisting of a loud Hello Kitty allover print.

The Hello Kitty x adidas Stan Smith is now available at select overseas retailers, a stateside release appears to be imminent. Stay tuned.

In Jordan Brand news, the Air Jordan 1 High OG WMNS Washed Pink has officially been unveiled.

adidas continues to celebrate their signature athlete Derrick Rose as they have brought back the adidas D Rose 1 ?All-Star?, the shoe that Rose wore at the 2011 All-Star Game (last released in 2020). Covered in an official color makeup of Team Yellow/Royal Blue-Team Yellow, this iteration of the adidas D Rose 1 Restomod is inspired by Rose?s high school alma mater, Simeon Academy of Chicago, and comes with a modernized look and feel. This D Rose 1 features a yellow synthetic throughout the upper with royal blue accents placed throughout for a hit of contrast along with a Geofit padded collar for support and lockdown. D Rose and adidas branding throughout and a Lightstrike cushioning below serves up lightweight energy return. You can find the adidas D Rose 1 Restomod ?All-Star? at select retailers as well as online now for $150.

Trae Young’s adidas Trae Young 2 signature sneaker surfaces in a brand new colorway. Dropping later on this month, here are official images of the adidas Trae Young 2 Dash Grey.

Previewed below, this iteration of the adidas Trae Young 2 comes dressed in a Dash Grey, Halo Silver, and Matte Silver color scheme. Opting for a tonal upper, design details include a knitted, semi-laceless upper with textile lining along with hits of Green accents used on the branded areas and lace tips. The sole comes equipped with Boost in the heel paired up with Lightstrike cushioning on the rest of the sneaker.

Retailing for $140, the adidas Trae Young 2 Dash Grey is scheduled to release on March 15th at select retailers and adidas.com.

As most of you know, Damian Lillard dropped 71 big time points this past week. He became just the eighth player in NBA history to top 70 points in a single game. To celebrate his historical performance, adidas has dropped the retail price of his newest signature shoes, including the Dame 8 and Dame Certified, to $71.

In addition to the huge discount on his kicks,  adidas will also give $71,000 to a charity of Lillard?s choice to help him continue to further the impact he has in his community. In Jordan Brand news, the Air Jordan 13 Black Flint is arriving this spring.

With the adidas Harden Vol. 7 officially unveiled earlier this week, today we take a look at an upcoming colorway with this eye-catching “Crew Yellow” pair. Taking on a two-tone color makeup, James Harden’s 7th signature shoe gets done in a Crew Yellow/Core Black-Crew Yellow color combination as the sneaker features yellow padded textile quarter panels on the upper along with a refined textile toe cap in the same hue. A Black knit bootie is then added for comfort while Lightstrike street-luxe materials on the midsole for responsive cushioning and movement along with a new and caged Jet Boost midsole for improved stability and energy return take care of the cushioning system. On the outsole we see a multi-directional herringbone patterned sole for agility and traction through cuts. You can expect this adidas Harden Vol. 7 to release in the coming weeks for $160.

Bodega and Beams have teamed up with adidas on this new capsule collection that includes special iterations of the adidas Campus and adidas Adimatic alongside a full range of matching apparel. Both pairs are inspired from Bodega?s US influence of art and counterculture along with Beams? traditional high-end aesthetic. The Campus and Adimatic combine old school with new school to show the evolution of the Three Stripes throughout the decades and its ability to stay grounded in essential design principles.

The Bodega x Beams x adidas Campus ($130) comes dressed in a hairy Grey suede upper offset by Light Brown stripes and Dark Brown on the heels. Other notable details include the leather Green lining and Gold foil branding on the tongues and lateral.
