adidas NMD R1 Releasing This Friday At Finish Line
By SoleInsider
adidas dominated the day last Thursday with the release of over a dozen different adidas NMD R1 colorways. Looks like a few more are coming back this Friday, March 25th, based on a recent tweet by NMD stockist Finish Line. This white/white and black/white pair was originally scheduled for April 9th at the retailer, but according to their tweet, we should expect them on Friday. These shouldn’t be confused with the “Monochrome” Pack as those featured a Primeknit upper. There may be more colorways releasing on March 25th, so stay tuned for updates.
Soleboxs adidas Ultra Boost Is Releasing Again This Weekend
By SoleInsider
Missed out on the first release of the Solebox x adidas Ultra Boost earlier this month? The good news is, now you have a second chance, because the “uncaged” Ultra Boost will be dropping at additional retailers this Saturday, March 26th. Another perfect collaborative sneaker execution by Berlin’s Solebox, the upper goes tonal grey and removes the midfoot Three Stripes “cage” and also modifies the heel counter with suede embossed with the shop’s logo. Selling out quickly from the exclusive release via Solebox, you’ll have another shot at the coveted collab this Saturday, so contact your local shop for availability.
Spring has officially arrived and coming with it are new colorways of the adidas Ultra Boost. We already know about the Triple White colorway of the Ultra Boost that’s expected to release some time in May, but what about the bright colors for the sunny season?
Don’t worry, adidas has got you covered with the colorful Ultra Boosts too. Up above we get a look at an upcoming colorway of the popular runner from the Three Stripes that comes with a white Primeknit upper and hits of color on the toe, tongue, and heel counter. Blue and Green Glow can be found on segments of the Primeknit upper while a softer shade of blue lands on the heel counter. Down below we have a white BOOST midsole and a black rubber outsole.
Take a good look at the shoes courtesy of the images above and let us know if you plan on picking up this colorway for the Spring season.
This colorway definitely gives off those Spring/Easter vibes, but I just can’t do the white Primeknit upper. I’m sure many people will be picking up a pair though.

Available today at adidas.com for $120 is the latest 5-Star cleat that’s inspired by the legendary Snoop Dogg. Drawing inspiration from the chorus of “Gin and Juice” from Snoop’s debut album, the lines “Mind On My Money” and “Money On My Mind” are featured on the medial sides of the cleats. But that’s not where the money theme ends; not even close, actually. Even the box has security stripes that are not unlike what you see on new bills today. “Gotta Hustle” indeed.
If you haven’t been paying attention, “cleathead” culture is a movement that adidas has really been pushing for a while now, with their continued support of youth football programs, including Snoop’s Youth Football League, and their attention-grabbing promotion every year daring NFL prospects to break the 40-yard dash record held by Chris Johnson of the Arizona Cardinals. It’s why you see videos like this where the kids are showing their love and support for the three stripes. Gone are the days when kids will just blindly follow a brand just because they have the best gear, it’s all about who was there from day one and adidas is doing a masterful job of that in the most popular sport in this country. If even only a handful of these kids that adidas has been sponsoring and decking out in cleats like the 5-Star 5.0 Money end up becoming superstar in the NFL, then it’s worth it to the three stripes.
After releasing an all-white colorway of the adidas Ultra Boost that erupted with popularity last year, the Three Stripes will be looking to achieve the same success with this upcoming Triple White colorway.
Just like last year’s version this colorway comes dressed in a pristine white hue from head to toe. Some details of this 2016 version include a gradient pattern on the breathable Primeknit upper along with silver Ultra Boost branding on the heel and a white rubber outsole. There is no exact release date yet but the adidas Ultra Boost Triple White is expected to release some time in the month of May for a retail price of $180. Stay tuned to Kicks On Fire for more information and images in the near future and make sure you visit our adidas Ultra Boost Triple White launch page for the latest updates.
No matter how clean the white on white Primeknit may look, I don’t think I’ll ever buy a pair of all-white Primeknit/Flyknit sneakers. These things are a dirt trap.

Could This Be The Black Colorway Of The adidas Yeezy Boost 550
By SoleInsider
There’s no doubt that the adidas Yeezy Boost 750 and the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 are two of the most popular sneakers in the game right noe. In 2016 adidas and Kanye West will be adding another silhouette to the group with the adidas Yeezy Boost 550.
A new picture surfaced over the weekend that shows what many believe to be the adidas Yeezy Boost 750 in a new black colorway. The shoe comes in all-black and looks to feature a full Primeknit upper and shows resemblance to the Yeezy Boost 350. The main differences include a higher ankle and a translucent midsole.
Nothing has been confirmed and there is no release date yet for the Yeezy Boost 550, but stay tuned to Kicks On Fire for the latest updates.
If this is indeed the 550 then it looks VERY similar to the 350 in my opinion. I don’t think it matters too much what it looks like at this point, people just want to get their hands on a pair already.

First Look At The High Snobiety x adidas Ultra Boost
By SoleInsider
After collaborating with Hypebeast to release the first ever Uncaged Ultra Boost last year, adidas will now be linking up with blog site High Snobiety to release another collaborative Ultra Boost.
The High Snobiety x adidas Ultra Boost features a tonal grey Primeknit upper with a black inner liner and white BOOST midsole. High Snobiety branding then appears on the insoles and tongue tab for a clean finish.
There is no release date for the High Snobiety x adidas Ultra Boost at the moment but we’ll keep you updated as soon as we find out more. In the meantime take a look at the first images of the collaboration above and give us your initial thoughts.
If the High Snobiety branding wasn’t added on the insole and tongue this would look like a general release colorway. It’s decent colorway, but I expected more from a collaboration.

The adidas Busenitz Switches It Up And Tries Mesh On For Size
By SoleInsider
The adidas Busenitz is a sneaker that’s usually dressed in either leather or suede, this time around adidas tries a new look on the shoe as it’s seen constructed out of a mesh upper.
Although mesh does appear on the upper, there are still parts of the shoe that come dressed in suede in areas such as in the heel, toe and eyestay of the shoe. The mesh build is found on the side panels and collar which will definitely come in handy once hotter days become more of the norm. The colorway comes in an all-red base offset by the white accents placed on the Three Stripe branding, sole and heel tab of the shoe. Priced at $80, you can now pick up a pair at select adidas retailers.
It may take some time to get used to, but I think the Busenitz looks solid in mesh. Perhaps we can see it dressed in an all-mesh upper somewhere down the line. That’s something to think about.

Ben Ballers IFANDCO Designs adidas Yeezy Boost 350 Pendant Using Gold And Diamonds
By SoleInsider
To all the Kanye West stans fans out there, check out the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 Boost pendant created by Ben Baller?s IFANDCO jewelry company. They’ve been known for creating lots of custom pieces for celebrities and rappers and for their latest commissioned project they ended up creating a miniature adidas Yeezy Boost 350 pendant.
The pendant is meticulously crafted with detailed features such as the revealing Boost on the outsole and the YZY branding on the side panels. The pendant is done in a 14-karat rose gold covered in 7 carats of Champagne, Cognac and IFANDCO?s proprietary diamonds. Check out the images above and let us know if this is something you’d ever consider wearing.
Spending a ridiculous amount of money on sneaker jewelry is something I’m not interested in doing. Theres no doubt the pendant is executed perfectly, but it’s not something for me. Greay work Ben Baller.

Ever since its release in 2009, the instant-classic adidas Busenitz Pro has seen any number of redesigns, upgrades, and material changes. Now the Dennis Busenitz signature model adds another iteration to the list, with this new mesh construction. Inspired by the Copa Mundial soccer shoe, the Busenitz gets sportier than ever with this new version featuring mesh paneling on the quarter panels to reduce weight and increase durability, while also staying durable with suede at the toe and heel. This appropriately athletic looking colorway in vibrant red and white for the mesh Busenitz Pro is arriving now at adidas Skateboarding retailers like Sneaker Politics.
This adidas Ultra Boost Comes With An Interesting Look
By SoleInsider
For the most part, the adidas Ultra Boost is a sneaker that keeps things pretty tonal. Last year saw the shoe comes in an array of colors, but the majority of them keep it to one or two colors and most of the time they were similar hues.
This upcoming version of the shoe is something we’ve quite not seen before. As of right now there is not much information regarding this release but what we are able to see based off the images is that the shoe comes with S.E.P. branding on the tongues label as well as on the lace tips. The Primeknit upper comes in a tonal light grey colorway contrasted by the black Primeknit threading placed throughout. The heel counter and Boost midsole of the shoe come in white to clean things up a bit. Without a doubt the most interesting feature on the shoe lies in the inner sock lining, tongue tag and laces as they all come with a color-blocked design along with white “X” slashes placed all over. Thoughts on the adidas Ultra Boost look? Let us know what you think in the comments below.
Very interesting to say that least. What really sucks about it though is that once you put the shoe on, most of the colorful accents on the sock lining will now be covered up. Can we just get multicolor Primeknit Ultra Boost already?
