As part of their Spring/Summer 2016 collection, Pharrell Williams has joined forces with the German sportswear label again to create an exclusive capsule of sneakers.

Dubbed “Pink Beach,” the range is inspired by the magic of island culture, blended with the artist’s signature artworks and performance aesthetic for a line of summer-ready looks. Comprised of an Elastic Slip On and Elastic Lace Up silhouette, each incorporate stretch patched-tape uppers and moulded nubuck heels.

Both models are offered in crisp white and a colorful variegated-stripe option with two sets of laces to each pair. Additionally, each pair features hyper-color liners with psychedelic anatomical drawings of the human foot.

Look for these models to arrive at select adidas accounts in the U.K. starting May 5th. Stay tuned in for a stateside release date.

The adidas Spezial Primeknit comes in Light Blue Primeknit upper. A lighter shade of the same blue is noted all over the shoe to create minimal smooth contrast. The ankle collar comes in a sock-like construction to help give the shoe it’s casual look and feel. Completing the look of the shoe is the gum sole unit exuding a classic aesthetic. The elastic sock-like/Primeknit construction is really clean and definitely makes the shoe look better. Add in the gum sole and you’ve got a good looking shoe.

I was on the fence regarding the Tubular Nova when it officially came out, but with the new Primeknit construction on the upper, I like it a lot more. With that being said, I’m still not a huge fan of the comfort the Tubular sole unit gives.

After giving you a first look at the two newest colorways of the adidas Tubular Radial yesterday, we now give you some detailed images of both colorways.

The first colorway comes in a predominantly black upper which is complemented by burgundy detailing on the toebox which we believe is made out of Primeknit materials. Additional burgundy detailing lands on the midsole courtesy of some speckling. Next we have a tonal Grey pair that features suede detailing on the side panels and toe along with a Primeknit toebox. Finishing things off is some white speckling on the midsole and outsole.

I wouldn?t mind adding either pair to my collection. I like the combination of black and burgundy and the all-grey pair also has a nice sleek look. Adidas did a great job on these.

With its primeknit iterations being the most recent notable release, the adidas NMD R1 returns in a brand new colorway this season, consisting of bright red.

While the eye-catching tone is prominent across its circular knit upper, the component bears an enlarged iteration of the ubiquitous military motif, as various shades are prominent along the toe box and rear section of the shoe.

Further detailed with tonal matte stretch TPU three-stripes on the side panels, branded heel pull tabs and contrasting black molded EVA plugs on the crisp white boost sole unit, the sneaker is finished off with matching laces.

Adidas‘ current chief executive officer, Herbert Hainer, may be leaving the company in a wrong time, as the iconic German sportswear company’s shares are now placed in the premium level of its rival, Nike, for the first time in six years.

Rising 7% Wednesday, the brand’s first-quarter performance was a lot better than what analysts had predicted, as constant-currency sales rose 22% and prompting management to push up earnings-growth projections by a half.

The explanation is essentially a combination of market strength and sought-after products, and with the Olympic Games and European soccer championship in June and July, the brand continues to gain more momentum throughout the summer.

The newly appointed CEO, Kasper Rorsted, is expected to take over in October 2016. Adidas made a 3.5% operating in the world?s largest sportswear market last year, compared to 26.6% for Nike, notes Barclays.
