Using cork on a sneaker is nothing new, but for the most part adidas is not the one doing it, until now. Check out this luxe version of the adidas Originals Stan Smith Luxe utilizing a cork midsole to give the model a distinguished look.
The upper of the Stan Smith appears to remain true to form as a white leather is accompanied by the perforations acting as the Three Stripes branding and the hits of Fairway Green noted on the heel tab of the shoe. What really gives the shoe some pop is the cork constructed midsole found below. Tonal branding on the tongue, a set of white laces and eyelets round up the aesthetics of the shoe. Available now internationally, we will let you know when these drop stateside.

Author’s Take
I thought cork was cool when it initially dropped on the LeBron model, but I’m a bit over it now. In my opinion, adidas arrived late to the cork trend.
